GTKY: How did you meet your best friend?: my bf group is a mix of two friends from high school, one from elementary school and two I met in college. We all ended up at the same college

How are you feeling?: So so happy. Sciatic is getting worse but still just on cloud 9.
Cravings/Aversions: Still not feeling most meat and/or hot foods. Just want cold drinks, veggies, etc. But I've been bad and wanting sour patch kids. skittles, etc. So weird!
Rants/Raves/Questions: DH FINALLY felt baby girl kicking last night. He's been avoiding trying to feel for her since he was getting frustrated but now just excited.
GTKY: How did you meet your best friend?: One in kindergarten and one in the 4th grade. Love those girls!

Rants/Raves/Questions: Rant- I’m on bed rest at the hospital for the next week (see randoms). Rave- I know everyone here
GTKY: In 6th grade English we had to pair up to do a project. My two friends paired up, and her two friends paired up. So we were leftovers stuck together. What luck, because we’ve been best friends for nearly 20 years now.

How are you feeling?: Emotional. I was elated that I got to have breakfast with DS due to snow and a late start, then I sobbed because I had to walk across campus in the snow and slipped on some ice while cars were being impatient with me crossing the street (in a freaking crosswalk with flashing pedestrian signs...)
Cravings/Aversions: I just want coffee and baked goods because of the snow... I made spiced oatmeal pecan cookies last night and officially had 3 cups of coffee and 6 cookies so far today- whoops! Aversions basically still avoiding all meat/poultry/seafood due to gout, but also not feeling well with spicy food lately so trying to stick with more bland things.
Rants/Raves/Questions: My work just announced an extra 20 hours of leave during the winter holiday week so I have a week off and then just have to take 1 week vacation to cover DS's school break. I'm really really looking forward to the time off. Honestly I can't wait until Thanksgiving either. I'm craving time to slow down, rest, and doing more nothing.
GTKY: How did you meet your best friend?: My BFF and I met at college. She was the slob roomie to my BFF at that time who grew away from us as we grew closer.

How are you feeling?: Good! I just feel like I am chugging along. I am feeling lots of movement!
Cravings/Aversions: Cravings - Pasta - specifically Mac-N-Cheese (homemade or Annie's) Aversions - None really this week, it was meat a couple of weeks ago and now its fine again lol
Rants/Raves/Questions: Rave: I am feeling the baby a lot! I am loving it. DH has been able to feel the baby a couple of times.
GTKY: How did you meet your best friend?: One of the first days of 7th grade. We had to introduce each other in Mr. Abarro's English class.
@craftywitch - I am PARANOID about slipping on the ice this winter. I am generally a klutz and slip at least once a year. I hope you are ok after slipping. Our tile at school gets really slippy with any kind of water, so I am in it for the next couple of days.

Upcoming appts: We have finally, finally worked through all the move/insurance issues and I have an anatomy scan scheduled for 11/4. I'll be 26 weeks by then and it will be my first doctor's appt since 17 weeks. Good thing baby girl moves at all hours of the day and night, otherwise I'd be really worried about her.
How are you feeling?: Good. Pretty sure the bump is larger. I'd like to think it's baby, but honestly, it's probably giving in to cravings too much.
Cravings/Aversions: Chocolate. It was cheese for several weeks in a row and then did a complete 180 - I just want to eat sweet things all the time now.
Rants/Raves/Questions: Rave: A friend is getting married on halloween and then my baby shower is on the 1st. I'm really excited to see college friends and family. Some of them I haven't seen in person since college, which was 7 years ago.
GTKY: How did you meet your best friend?: We did the same military program in college. She lived 2 floors down from me with a different unit. Freshman year, I was walking through their hallways, afraid of running into upperclassmen. I spotted my (future) friend with her dad and the rule was that if you had a parent with you then you were "safe". So I attached myself to their group and pretended I was with them. Her dad was really confused, but chica got it instantly and was just like "Nope, she's with us now". Turns out we had a lot in common (i.e. both super geeky) and we've been friends ever since.

Upcoming appts: saw my family doctor today, seeing him again next thurs for blood pressure follow up. Referral has been sent for a specialist triplet OB. Anatomical scan next thurs.
How are you feeling?: not too bad. Having allergies so started back on a daily allergy med today. Blood pressure is elevated which is a bit stressful.
Cravings/Aversions: nothing really. I'm loving bagels with cream cheese right now. I struggled to find them in my previous country so glad to be back home with bagels haha

GTKY: How did you meet your best friend?: we met at a gifted and talented camp the year before we started high school.

How are you feeling?: Suddenly extra pregnant. Like I’m lugging around a bowling ball. Moving isn’t as smooth as it was, and I’m more achey. But still better than first tri!
Cravings/Aversions: craving fudge ever since someone brought some to work
Rants/Raves/Questions: I’m to tired to think of these categories. I’ve been on hyperdrive at work these past two weeks and between that and pregnancy brain, by the end of the day my thinker stops thinking.
GTKY: How did you meet your best friend?: Middle school. She was new and standoffish. I made her be my friend 😂

How are you feeling?: been feeling pretty good, having some leg cramps at night but still sleeping pretty well which is nice!
Cravings/Aversions: chicken and eggs still taste/sound gross. Not craving anything in particular, mozzarella sticks always sound good though!
Rants/Raves: excited to go visit some close friends this weekend, it will be our last trip before baby comes.
