How are you feeling? : so good these days. It occurred to me this morning that I am feeling significantly less self conscious about my size now that I am very obviously pregnant. Those early bloaty days are no fun.
Raves/Rants: Rave This morning I discovered that one of my prepregnancy sweater dresses still fits and actually looks way better as a maternity top. It is quite stretchy and figure hugging so it tends to show all the bumps, but now that I can wear pants that smooth the bumps out it looks fantastic. 😍 It is most definitely a shirt now, though, and not a dress. Haha Also I still can't get over how fun it is to feel baby move and have MH feel him/her move. Plus MH is the sweetest with this LO already.

Upcoming appointments: I was supposed to have my appointment last Tuesday but it’s been rescheduled twice so far and now (hopefully) I have it this afternoon.
How are you feeling?: My allergies have hit like a freight train. More on that in the rant below.
Raves/Rants: The past couple of days/nights have been the worst! My allergies started to attack on Friday so I’ve been fighting off a cold since then. I’ve also been dealing with insomnia. Last night, baby woke me up at 12:45am wanting breakfast and we didn’t go back to bed til 4. Woke up feeling like death, yet I still have to work today, go to the dr, do all my laundry, clean my house, and get ready to fly cross country tomorrow to visit with family. I’m so not okay. Send help!
GTKY: What is your nursery theme/color(s)? We are doing a navy, aqua, and mint theme with some “adventurous” decor since he was made in Mexico.

How are you feeling? : Feeling really good although sleeping has been crappy lately. Waking up so much and not going back to sleep is killing me. I have been up since 4 today and am already so tired. But other than that, I am feeling pretty great.
Raves/Rants: No rants or anything this week. Just getting more and more excited to meet this little guy. Tested some paint samples this weekend and think I have it narrowed down, so I am excited to get going on his room.

GTKY: What is your nursery theme/color(s)? I am doing one accent wall of a light gray. And then all of the furniture is white and I will be accenting with navy blue. I am not really sure I want a theme. But one of the main pieces I want is a shelf that looks like a mountain. I found it at a local shop and fell in love with it. So we might add a few rustic pieces to accent the room with.

Upcoming appointments: Glucose test is tomorrow (aack!). I'm expecting to have GD since I had it with my first. Good news is I should still have my blood sugar monitor lying around somewhere.
How are you feeling?: I feel like my stomach is starting to get in the way. It's making caring for my 2 year old trickier. Leaning over the tub at bathtime and laying her down in her crib is becoming increasingly difficult.
Raves/Rants: I don't get to design a nursery this time around since my DD had a gender neutral room, we're going to keep everything the same for this little boy. BUT, we're making her a big girl room and I'm really excited about that. It's going to be sky themed since she loves clouds and stars. I'm having so much fun getting design inspiration.
GTKY: What is your nursery theme/color(s)? Our nursery is baby animal themed. We have canvas-wrapped paintings of a giraffe, a bunny, a raccoon, a fox, a zebra and a monkey. The colors are grass green and coral.

Upcoming appointments: Ultrasound on 10/28 to capture additional images that weren't clear enough on the anomaly scan a few weeks ago. Excited to see our little guy again, for free too!
How are you feeling?: Good for the most part! I was having a hard time sleeping but I got some magnesium lotion that is helping me stay asleep and fall asleep faster after my middle of the night potty breaks. Belly is growing and clothes aren't fitting that well. Time to buy some new pants!
Raves/Rants: RAVE! I passed my 3 hour glucose test today! My a1c was high-normal with my very first blood panel and I have multiple risk factors that caused my midwife to order a 3 hour early in my pregnancy and do the 3 hour instead of the 1 hour at this stage. I'm happy to feel like my body is working with me. I'm 32 and for most of my adult years I've spent a lot of time not liking my body or being angry at it for not working or looking like I wanted it to. I don't like being pregnant (like at all!) but I feel a sense of peace and acceptance for my body as she works in my favor, growing my little dude with no complications. ❤️
GTKY: What is your nursery theme/color(s): Trying to decide on the shade of green we want. We're doing a Pacific NW/fishing theme. Dad is a fisherman and we love the beautiful place we live. 🌲🌳🏞️🎣

Upcoming appointments: Today. I have my glucose test and an ultrasound. I’m excited to see baby again, but I also have to bring my 4 year old and 15 month old to this long appt.
How are you feeling?: Good! This is definitely the golden time of pregnancy for me. Not too big, not too sick. Feeling good.
Raves/Rants: Sorry I’ve been MIA the last several days. Working full time and taking care of three kids in the evening without help is wearing me out. Ready for MH to come home for a couple days this weekend!

GTKY: What is your nursery theme/color(s)? We aren’t during a special nursery theme for her. I waffled on this, since I’ve never had a girl and it would be so fun to do a girl nursery. But reality hit, which is that I will have my 15 month old sleeping in there for several months after she is born (he won’t be ready for a big boy bed for a while). And the boys’ stuff is just everywhere. So, it would be hard and impractical to clean it out and make it a girl nursery. Going to do a special big girl room for her in a couple of years in our current guest bedroom downstairs.

How are you feeling? : during the day I feel great! Moving around is getting a little harder, but it’s not impossible or unbearable yet. Sleeping could be so much worse but I can’t find a position that is comfortable and I wake up so stiff and grumpy.
Raves/Rants: Rave: small race but I found a maternity dress at Old Navy today that rang up as $0.01!! I just still can’t get over what an amazing deal it was 😂 rant: wish the hubs and I could decide on names or at least have a more productive discussion to start narrowing it down. Ready to have so options to think on!

GTKY: What is your nursery theme/color(s)? Nursery doesn’t really have a theme, but we have a dark forest green accent wall and the other walls are light pink. I’m so obsessed and I just sit in there sometimes and look around! 💗
