R/R: RAVE: We leave for Charleston today!!!
(can you tell I’m excited?!!) We have all of our reservations booked for dinners and lunches and a brunch on Friday. Im so excited to take it all in, its been a bucket item place of ours to visit! I’m going to be so sad when this short trip is over but I’ll going to embrace every minute of it with MH!

RANT: we still have to pack lol and I don’t know what to bring 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

@kpearse99 Not sure what you’re doing there, but bring comfy shoes that can get wet. Not sure about November, but the humidity in the summer was so bad that everything was wet when we got outside in the morning. Windows and doors were so fogged up with condensation that we couldn’t see outside. It did dry fast by the time we got to Boone Plantation and Rainbow Row. Have fun!!

R/R: Work is super busy (which is why I’m checking in now before I’m fully awake and my day begins in earnest). MH is taking his well-deserved two-week vacation from work, and it was honestly nice to see him just sitting and playing video games when I got home yesterday. I guess it helped that he also did the dishes and cleaned the garage...

CS/Q: Got a dark-ish OPK this morning so here we goooo.

@ssbl yay for go time!! It’s great YH gets time to relax and that he’s still taking care of stuff at the house! Do you get any time off with him?

R/R: I've got a super busy day ahead of me, work, then a wax (dreaddddingggg), then back to work for a night meeting - which means I have to stim at work tonight. Which is fine because it's quick, but I have to lug all the stuff with me and then not forget it in the fridge after my meeting.

@kpearse99 I’m so excited for you trip!!! It’s gorgeous is SC right now. People dress very summery and the sun is HOT. However it can be chilly in the morning and night so bring shorts/dresses/pants/long sleeves (I would layer) as well. It’s 64 degrees where I am right now at 10:00 am but it will get hotter quickly. (Unless you already left!) have the best time and I can’t wait to hear all about it!

R/R: bummed it’s CD 1 but at least I was expecting it. I was hopeful (idk why) But alas, such is life. I’m happy I had a 12 day LP and very minimal spotting only yesterday which is a big improvement for me. I think I had a good corpus luteum cyst this time because my progesterone seemed to rise quickly and didn’t decline early like it usually does. So that’s a win for me.
Got my fire ant issue treated yesterday, they came really fast to service so I was happy about that.
Big boss is coming to my work today and I’m not stoked at all about it. Hoping to keep up with my ibuprofen because me with Cd 1 cramps equals bare minimum work since my work is physical lol

CS/Q: just a blank slate.

WAYDTGKU: Benched for IF Testing

R/R: Another crazy workday, just getting to the dailies now! I just made the appointment with the urologist associated with my RE practice, will be in 2 more weeks, so looks like we're doing another cycle of testing. Will try to make sure the second SA is not going to interfere with FW!

I think the hardest part of this for me is realizing that our chances of getting KU naturally are so low BUT they're not nonexistent so we still need to continue trying. I get very negative and feel like "why bother."

In the meantime, I think a nice short treadmill run will help my mood tonight!

@ssbl there's something awesome about having a spouse having off while you don't 🙂 usually for is that means DH can have lunch with me when I work. Kudos to YH for cleaning things around the house!

@kmalls rain and errands don't mix 😆 I hate when my purchases get wet! Hope the rain lets up for you

@meri-mac yay needles and wands 😆 so sad what we get excited about these days, but it's a good thing!

@feather_heather write yourself a Post-It so you don't leave them in the fridge!

@konoha CD1 sucks but you have some things to look on the bright side and that's great 🙂 glad those fire ants are gone!

@mvt2003 been on the negativity train too 😕 but! Even though my ovaries are acting dead the BDing I think is really helping me move on from last month and also feeling more connected with DH which hasn't been around much with all the things - like why BD when I was in BC for 45 days 🙃 it wasn't going to happen so why bother. Probably the same chances now but it's doing some good!

R/R: we leave tomorrow for our mini vacation to the Tennessee Aquarium!! So excited! Ideally we'd leave between 6 and 7 tomorrow with our 13 hour drive but we'll see... I don't want to get caught in too much rush hour traffic! I promised DH I would disconnect from my phone so I'm going to do my darnedest to stay off TB entirely for 4 days so you should hopefully not see me here at all until Monday

Etav I forgot to add that it's my Friday!!

@inthewoods23 I agree that would probably help! I think him being on an involuntary hold for the SA last week was harder on both of us than we thought it would be. Hoping we get some time together in the next few days.

@kpearse99 No, I teach, so I don't have vacation days to take with him. @inthewoods23 Him off is still a plus because we get to have dinner together every night (he works afternoons-nights, so we usually don't get to do that). @feather_heather Good luck with your long work (and wax) day!

R/R: Rant: work. Rave: MH just wandered over and fed me a crouton he made. Also, I wore a cute shirt that I forgot I like. And last night I quieted my anxious mind by learning a new font in my calligraphy book and practiced by writing hubs an encouraging note. So, it felt nice to distract myself with a low-energy activity that didn't involve scrolling around on my phone.

CS/Q: None, but sometimes I look at my CD and think "huh. this is probably when I would ovulate if my cycle were a reasonable length..."
