I want to start working on a chevron patterned crochet baby blanket, but I'm struggling with the colors to use. Obviously, the typical is blue, white, and more blue, but I want to do something a little different.
Here is the pattern...I like these colors, actually. I might change the mint for a soft blue, and swap the grey and white.
@biolprof, I thought about that, but starting in January, I want to do the temperature one, where you crochet two or three lines a day based on the temperature across an entire year. It ends up being a rainbow.
Glad I didn't do it this year, or the whole middle of it would be Cranberry.
@biolprof those are great! I bought some yarn and needles and now I just need to YouTube teach myself how to knit some booties. I've never knitted a day in my life so we'll see how it goes!
@peppyj9 If I were you I might start with something flat first. The booties took a bit of 3D trickery and I wasn't sure they were going to work out for me at first. The good news is that they don't take long since they are so small! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7BK4OxBZEyM I found this tutorial that might work though if you want to try!
I’ve been slowly but surely making progress on a baby blanket for a friend. And knitting alllll the hats for my Etsy shop. Oh and some pumpkins. Also knitting a sweater for myself. But so far nothing to baby girl. Oops
