Each week we'll spotlight a new category of product. Feel free to comment on threads like these throughout your time at the board, not just when they're in their week in the spotlight, if you discover something new OR are new to the board. This week it's.... Bath Time

We have the Fisher Price 4 in 1 tub. It's nice that it hooks onto the sink and has a sling for when they're little. As they get older, there is a seat for them to sit up in. Once DS got older, I put the tub in our bath tub and washed him there. Once DS got older and big enough, I ditched the tub and got a nonslip mat for our bath tub.
For towels, I like the Luvable Friends hooded towels that you can find on Amazon. I will say hooded towels aren't necessary, but they're adorable.
For washcloths, you can really use any washcloth, but I l liked some bamboo cloths I found on Amazon.
I don't think a bunch of toys are necessary till they're older, but Target has a nice selection of bath toys.
I liked Burts Bee's soap. DS has sensitive skin, so I moisturize him with Aveeno lotion after baths.
When they're little, no need to bathe them a lot. I stuck to twice a week.

We had the Fisher Price 4 in 1 for DD1. For DD2 we got a cheaper similar version (Summer Infant I think) and don't like it nearly as much as the Fisher Price one. I like the Cloud Island wash clothes since they're super soft. We use Aveeno Baby Eczema wash and lotion since our babes tend to have super sensitive skin with all of the baby skin problems (eczema, cradle cap, and baby acne).

We had a Summer Infant tub for when he was smaller. Now he just sits in the tub, but he’s 2 now. DH loves ducks, so he got DS a bunch of rubber duckies for the bath. Use a hot glue gun to fill the hole and they don’t get all gross inside. We use a coconut oil shampoo that I picked up at Target. It helped with the cradle cap. Also Johnson’s for a body wash. We like the Aveeno lotion after baths. I like the hooded towels because the are cute and they make DS happy. And we just used the washcloths that people gave us at our showers last time.

We had the Boon bathtub with DD and loved it. I really like that you can remove the insert as they get bigger. We plan to use it again. Here is the link:

We use Aveeno products, especially the Eczema specific lotions. We live in a very dry climate.

For towels, I basically used whatever was gifted to us at my shower. No real preference. Same with bath toys. My only real must is a faucet/spout cover.

@doraleigh35 Big yes to the faucet cover. We have the whale. Before we got it, we had a close call with DS trying to hit his head on the faucet.

We started with the summer infant tub. I tried one of those flexible inserts to do sink baths since I was worried about our upstairs bathroom being too cold, but it didn't support him enough and I didn't like it.

We use various hippie bath products (burts bees, California baby, earth mama angel baby) and now are set on Everyone Kids 3-in-1 soap.

When he got bigger we got these grippy dots that stick to the tub, I think they look nice and they work.
