WAYDTGKU: BBT, OPKs, tracking CM.
R/R: So I took another OPK before bed and it was pretty dark. Not positive but dark. So my plan was to let DH know when he woke up at 2:30 that we needed to have the quickest of all quickies. However...I totally slept through his alarm, shower, getting dressed, etc. I opened my eyes and it was 5:15. I panicked and got out of bed without temping to take another OPK in hopes that it wouldn’t be positive yet and it’s not. Whew. Hopefully I didn’t miss the surge overnight so I will probably take one every time I pee today. But assuming I didn’t miss it, tonight should be perfect timing, yes? I’m so mad at myself. Maybe a little break is what we needed but hopefully tonight’s not too late.

R/R: Happy Friday! DH and I are heading out of town tomorrow for a wedding! I'm excited for a night away together. We don't usually take long road trips, so this will be a nice mini getaway. The leaves have all started changing too so I expect we'll have some gorgeous scenery on our drive.
CS/Q: I did 3 OPKs yesterday in the morning, afternoon, and evening. They were all blazing positive (T/C ratio of over 2!) and I had ovulation pain all day yesterday again. I'm thinking today is possibly O day which will give us great timing! Today's OPK was high (T/C ratio of 1.74) but lower than yesterday's afternoon and evening tests. Is it normal to still get a high reading after a peak? Or should I ignore the premom app and not call yesterday's my peak?
Edited for grammar

R/R: I am feeling much better after taking the personal/mental day yesterday. And I’m on my way to feeling good and hopeful and excited about this next cycle! I’m going to a designer bag bingo tonight with some girlfriends so 🤞🏼 I have some luck and win a new bag!
Thank you all for being there for me to help get me through this. You are all really amazing people and i love this community so much. No matter what we are all going through in our own personal TTC journeys, we are always still there for one another. 💜💕🤗
CS/Q: I am going to spend some time researching ways to naturally increase my progesterone. If you have any suggestions, please share!
@bows22 holy cow! I can’t believe you slept through all of that! You must have really needed that sleep after barely getting sleep the night before. Hopefully that peak surge comes in today and you can HIO tonight!
@gingermama29 I am no pro at OPKs but I believe you can still get a high after a peak because the LH is dropping and maybe yours just didn’t drop enough, or fast enough yet, to give you a lower reading. I would try and HIO today and tomorrow too!!

WAYDTGKU: HIO for no reason since my ovaries are dead asleep ha!, temping, occasional OPK
R/R: took a break from the dailies and am feeling much better. Saw my friend for dinner yesterday (at Bonefish Grill of course) and it was really great talking with her since *TW* she was PG but due to abnormalities had to end the pregnancy at around 20 weeks so we've had our versions of struggles. *end TW* it's super awesome to have someone IRL I can talk to freely about all of this and she's got me too.
Also we leave for vacation in a week and I CANNOT wait!!
CS/Q: for those that don't follow the IF thread, I got a response from my doctor on the negative OPKs. It's totally normal for my body to not regulate properly since I've been on some form of cycle controlling drugs since April when we started the process for IVF egg retrieval. They said it can take a month for things to be normal. So, all is basically fine. I just have no idea when AF will be or if it will be an an-O cycle. Might periodically OPK test since the last couple days I've had CM - and this morning I woke up and it looked like -TMI- I came in my pants overnight 😬 so I'm thinking an-O? My temps are still low so clearly nothing is going on.

@kpearse99 that’s what I always say too, that I must have needed the sleep. It’s harder to convince myself of that when it messes up TTC though. I’m glad you are feeling better! Good luck at bag bingo! Around here it’s usually called a “purse bash” and I think it’s more like several drawings over the course of the night while you eat/drink. Bingo sounds more fun!
@kmalls thanks! I’m feeling much better now that everyone has told me not to panic. And I got another 2 hours of sleep after I posted so I am so ready for the weekend! We don’t have any major plans either and I’m hoping to have a productive weekend because we usually don’t have much time to do anything either. I hope yours is relaxing or productive, whatever you want it to be!
@inthewoods23 I used to have a very very short surge but it seems to be getting longer, so I think part of me is afraid this was a short one, but it’s probably not that likely. I’m glad you are feeling better. How is your friend doing? It’s so nice that you guys have each other.
@kmalls thanks! Enjoy a nice quiet weekend! Those are so nice especially after crazy busy ones.
@inthewoods23 thanks! It's a little under a 5 hour drive. We're going into the Hudson valley area, near West Point. I don't go downstate very often, so it'll be nice to get away. I'm glad you have a friend IRL with whom you can talk TTC freely. Where are you going on vacation?
@bows22 thanks!

@gingermama29 So excited that O is imminent!!!!!
@kpearse99 So many hugs for you, friend. I am so grateful for this place and these ladies too! Also, I hope you win a bag! I've never heard of designer bag bingo but now I want to go to one!!

WAYDTGKU: Benched for IF testing
R/R: I've officially survived my week from hell! So happy to be back in the dailies!!!!! Yesterday was a crisis drill for my company, and I was not planning on being in the drill (I'm way too low in the org chart!) but apparently I was a critical piece for support I got grabbed as I was going to fill my water cup, left it on the top of my cubicle, and didn't come back for 6 hours
We did the SA this morning - I did the drive to the hospital lab with the cup in a sock in my bra I'm relieved that piece is done, but still anxious to get the results. I moved my OB appointment to the next Monday (should still be in this cycle, I took an OPK last night to confirm. I got a high reading, which means O is most likely today or tomorrow, so I should still be in my LP on the 28th. We're probably just going to stay benched even though we could in theory HIO tonight or tomorrow. There's something freeing about realizing something is wrong and it's ok to take the time to try to help.

R/R: It has been an emotional day and it isn't even lunch. I am looking forward to tomorrow morning when I can relax, take my Ellie for a good long walk and have some warm (decaf) coffee. Nothing is falling apart, but I have to keep reminding myself of that because I tend to catastrophize in my own head. DH is feeling slightly neglected. As an introvert, I tend to spend a lot of time by myself. I'm glad he said something because I wouldn't have known. So we are both going to make a better effort on that front. It is hard because our schedules don't match up, but we have a plan of how to do better. It is just a lot for a Friday morning.
