R/R: feeling hopeful that O was either last night or is today. I got two dark OPKs 5 hours apart yesterday and had possibly ovulation pain for most of the day too. I'm not sure if that's what it was because I don't ever remember having that before; it was a dull ache that was occasionally sharp in my lower belly and lasted most of yesterday. This cycle has been such a roller coaster of emotions and frustration though. Last cycle was 39 days, so I did not expect to potentially O on CD 39 or 40 this cycle. Anyway, I'm crossing my fingers to get to head over to TWW soon.
CS/Q: Edited to add that I got a blazing positive OPK this morning. I suspect it'll likely be my peak reading.

R/R: Exhausted but I’m off tomorrow so thinking about not having to wake up early is getting me through. DH fell asleep on the couch last night so I made him go to bed and then we realized this morning that it was our night to have sex - oops. I have stuff tonight and DH has to be up at like 3 tomorrow so he will be asleep when I get home but we decided if I get a darker OPK we will figure it out but if not, tomorrow night should be fine. I have ovulated anywhere from CD 12-18 but it’s usually later in that range.

R/R: It’s Thursday, which is bowling league night for DH (candlepin so it’s awesome) which means I have the TV to myself tonight! Marvelous Mrs. Maisel here I come.
CS/Q: Gahhh I feel like such a newb. We’re looking for dark lines only on OPKs, right? I’m using Wondfo and have gotten light lines next to the control line. That means nothing, yes?

WAYDTGKU: Benched till after next AF, so it's just PNVs and BBT charting (to get back in the habit), but next cycle will resume CM & CP tracking, OPKs, Pre-Seed, Mucinex (CD10 to 1DPO), and baby aspirin.
R/R: Rave - I'm having lunch with a work friend this afternoon. She and I were interns together, and then she graduated so now she's on an opposite schedule than me and we haven't had a chance to really catch up.
CS/Q: Nope
@kmalls - Correct. Your test line should be as dark (if not darker) than your control line for a positive reading. I actually got so sick of my internet cheapies giving me a light/not-very-dark reading that I switched to the CBAD OPKs with the smiley faces instead. Not sure if my internet cheapies were a bad batch, but in the months that I used them, I think I only got one dark reading, which I confirmed by also using my CBAD OPK, as well. I don't trust them on their own anymore, lol.

WAYDTGKU: IVF baseline is scheduled for Monday - so probably starting meds Monday night!
R/R: Sorry I wasn't around yesterday. The work drama continues and I was just super busy. IVF meds were finally approved and should be delivered tomorrow! I have my pre-op, mock transfer, and anesthesiology consult tomorrow and then my baseline ultrasound Monday! The nurse said I will likely start the meds on Monday night. Got really bad news last night - My cousin, who is only in her mid 30's is in a medically induced coma and only has a 50% chance of surviving. Placed what happened in a spoiler below (also child mentioned):

WAYDTGKU: Letrozole, Metformin, prenatal, Conceive Plus, HIO at least EOD in FW, temping/tracking with FF, and adding in progesterone after O.
R/R: The weekend is so close now!! We are going to a basketball game tomorrow night (it’s the university’s first scrimmage game), so that should be fun! Then heading to the IL’s so DH can hunt Saturday morning.
CS/Q: I’m thinking O may have been yesterday. Although I started over-analyzing last night and wonder if it happened on Monday. We switched to heat (which we keep 4 degrees cooler than air) on Sunday night and also switched blankets then too. Wondering if that is offsetting a shift. There is really no way to know since I don’t use OPK’s though. Hoping for more of a shift tomorrow to put my crazy to rest for a bit! I’m supposed to start progesterone 3 days after O and I really don’t want to mess that up the first cycle using it!
@gingermama29 yay, I’m so glad it’s looking like it won’t be an anovulatory cycle after all!! That sounds like the O pain I get! It can sometimes last for days for me, so I don’t usually know for sure until I get the temp shift.
@bows22 good job on temping 2 days in a row! I hope you enjoy your day off tomorrow and take full advantage of being able to sleep in! Hope O holds off a bit since timing will be difficult tonight!
@kmalls enjoy your evening to watch what you want! Never heard of that show, but hope you enjoy it! And yes, as others have said, you want the test line to be as dark or darker than the control line.
@ttcbabyodo glad you are getting to have lunch with a friend and catch up!! I actually stopped using OPK’s because they were always slightly positive and it seemed like I had a short surge. Wonder if it would be worth trying out the digitals. Do you feel like they work well enough for the expense?
@beckylookatherbump sorry AF is still being a jerk! Fingers crossed you can get into your RE quickly and get a plan in place!

WAYDTGKU: Upped my dose of letrozole to 7.5mg, Trigger and IUI. PNV, Preseed and at least EOD in and around the FW.
R/R: My appointment went pretty well, I guess. I still feel BLAH and I need to get myself out of this funk. My RE said everything looked great and that as long as my blood work matches up (I'll know later today) then we are ready to start the next IUI cycle. He wants to up my letrozole dose, so we are doing that. He really doesn't see the need to add progesterone supplements, as there is no proof that it helps, but he did say I could take them if I wanted to. MH really doesn't want me to take them, he wants to try another IUI cycle as naturally as possible and he wants us to trust the doctor's plan and that he thinks we are fine. So we will give this another shot and see how it goes. I might try them next time though.
I did end up taking a personal day today. I needed it. I did some shopping at trader joes, took my time and just went up and down every aisle - it was nice and relaxing and peaceful. I have a wax appointment at 1:15 (that won't be relaxing and peaceful, but it's needed LOL) and then I might get a manicure.
I just want to get excited about this cycle again.

@kmalls yeah you're looking for a test line that is as dark or darker than the control. Anything else is negative. And yes to the Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. I love that show but my husband hates it.
@beckylookatherbump I hear you on yne brutal endo periods. When my husband whines about me not "being fun" during my period (not feeling up to going out or being especially cheerful) I remind him that it feels like my insides are pulling themselves apart in there or something, everything hurts and I'm dying. I hope you feel better soon. Fingers crossed you are able to get the paperwork finished and get the ball rolling in time for this cycle.
@feather_heather that is so awful about your cousin. I feel terrible for her and her family. Hopefully she pulls through without any major long term problems. And yay for your baseline on Monday!

R/R: super dark OPK this morning (2.9 on premom) and tons of EWCM. I'm assuming this is my peak and O is today. Who knows though because my body seems to be dragging this out a little. I mean, not that I mind. My husband gets home sometime today so maybe we'll get a chance to have sex again during the FW. Fingers crossed.
CS/Q: question unrelated to a chart but does anyone else get insanely cranky/irritable/bitchy even about a day or two before O? It's so bad! I turn into a raging crazy lady. I was about to lose my temper with my mother yesterday because... wait for it... she did the dishes too many times. Like WTF me?

@kpearse99 so glad your appt went well and you have a plan in place now! And you are entitled to feel Blah right now...but I hope your personal day helps some and you start to get excited about this cycle!! Haha, you can totally live through me with the progesterone...I’ll let you know how not fun it is and you will probably be happy you decided against it this cycle. Haha.
@NamelessAria yay for O holding out...hope you can get in one more time today! I can’t say that I get cranky before O...but you may want to ask MH?! 😂
@beckylookatherbump if you have heat on all the time it should be fine...your temp may be affected, but it shouldn’t affect being able to determine O as long as the temp (in the room) is fairly consistent. I just had super poorly timed air/heat change right around potential O! 🤦🏼♀️
@bows22 thanks for helping me think maybe I’m not totally crazy in thinking that!! If my temp goes up again tomorrow, I may start them. I think it’s better to start late than early, because apparently starting them early can cause O not to happen if it hasn’t already. I may put my chart in the CS/Q thread tomorrow if I’m still confused!

R/R: I'm still riding the high of passing my licensure exam yesterday but also had a ton of other good things happen as well. My work is very rewarding this week as the project I run launched AND I was with a group of 25 that had a lunch with a very influential person in town who I then connected with who I'm having a 1 on 1 meeting with in November to pitch him supporting a volunteer project I'm passionate about. So lots of good things!

@kmalls oh that sounds fun. I haven't seen that show but I've heard really good things about it. And yes, dark lines. Do you use an app to track them? Premom is great. I also use wondfos and can take a picture of each strip and get the ratio of the test/control line.

@pocketrose it's so hard when you have long cycles. I got a set of 50 wondfos that I've almost completely used up on this cycle. I had a couple patches of fertile CF so I was testing more times those days. Congrats on passing your exam yesterday! That has to feel amazing!

R/R: sorry to have been mia. I’ve had an errand filled past couple of days. I went and visited a friend who was moving out of state yesterday evening, and we had wine and pizza. It was nice to see her before she moves. And we had some ttc talk because and her husband will start soon. I’ve also been arguing with my print lab all morning over a mistake on a print order, but I think I finally have it fixed. I hate dealing with customer service.
