2. so excited to eat my leftovers for lunch today I love stuffing and I have some pumpkin pie as well
3. Drinking my low sugar version of PSL (tall decaf americano misto with half a pump of sugar-free vanilla and pumpkin spice topping)
4. DH came home last night, DD and I drove to the airport to get him but poor thing passed right out as we were parking. I put her in a stroller but she was completely out until DH put her back into the car later and she slightly woke up and was so happy it was sweet, then she passed right out again haha
5. Wiggles concert tonight with DD and DH
6. ummm I also have apple pie leftovers hahah
7. It's a short week for us (Monday was off, Friday we're going on a roadtrip for a wedding)
8. feeling super excited about this pregnancy as we get to the final stages, now that DH is back I feel we can start preparing better.
9. DH brought me back some awesome maternity clothes from europe, their style is way better and much much cheaper than motherhood maternity / thyme maternity.
10. It's already noon and I'm leaving work early at 3pm to get ready for the concert tonight wohoo!
this time it was easy to have 10 things hahaha
2. Plans are also being made to visit the pumpkin farm with all my siblings.
3. I can't wait to see DD run through the corn maze this year!
4. We finally got a morning under 70 degrees on Sunday, so we all wore fall clothes to church.
5. Huge box of apples are ordered and I'm planning on making applesauce and apple butter and canning it.
6. We had my niece's birthday party yesterday, and it was nice to hang out with family.
7. DD asked me for help when she was singing! Usually it's "no mommy, my turn" when I want to sing along with her.
8. She taught me an additional ending to "Rain, Rain, Go Away" and I'm always amazed at how well she can sing.
9. DH got a free lunch with a +1 from his work, so we are having a lunch date in a few minutes!
10. Chickfila. That is all.
2. Dh & I were both off again today, so we sent dd to nursery & went for lunch & to the cinema.
3. We went to see joker. Its an excellent film but very dark and uncomfortable to watch at times.
4. We also started santa shopping for dd today & now only have a few more things left to get for her.
5. This is an extremely short week at work, I was off yesterday & today on annual leave, I have a hospital appointment tomorrow afternoon & i dont work fridays. Ordinarily this would be great but I have so much to do at work atm, it wasnt ideal timing!
6. We have dh’s cousins wedding this weekend. Its about 1.5 hours away from my parents (who are looking after dd) but were staying over as I know dh wont want to leave early & I will be too tired to drive in the middle of the night!
7. I had pad thai for lunch & it was so good!
8. Its tuesday so that means....gbbo!
9. I think dh is coming round to jack as a boys name, he asked dd what the twins names were this evening & she kept telling him aela & jack and he didnt correct her the way he usually does.
10. We lit a fire for the first time this season last night & it was so cozy & warm.
1) It was perfect weather for the Ren Fest Saturday. When the sun went behind the clouds, there was a chill to the air, and when it came out, it was just warm enough to take off your jacket.
2) Dinner between families went well Sunday. My mother and his mother hit it off immediately, and it was another beautiful day with sun and mild temps. We were able eat outside, and there was a wine and beer fest going on across the street, so we had some muted live Texas country/rock music in the background...Think George Strait followed by ZZ Top followed by John Mayer (we like our guitar songs).
3) There's another cold front headed my way, knocking temps back into the 60s with thunderstorms...and I have SCREENS ON THE HOUSE!
4) We patched the hole in the attic. No more racoon! Or possum!
5) We reclaimed DDs bathroom, and I think I'm going to paint it grey to go with the yellow bath tiles, and the cabinet black.
6) DS1 isn't a slob like his sister...he picks up after himself, giggling like a madman as SO chases him around.
7) DS1 is going to help me hang Christmas lights this weekend, and will be with me when they turn on Nov 2.
8) I have a 5k walk this weekend, and while it will be warm in the afternoon, the overnight low is 65, so it should be cool for the walk
9) DS1 said he wasn't sad about being at his Dad's because "I'll be back in 2 days!" (so bittersweet when he says things like that)
10) I (without revealing how much) told my NMIL that between the two of us, we make enough money to that one of us could lose a job and we'd still be ok, so please stop worrying about our finances, and focus on SIL. She looked shocked. SO looked pleased.
BONUS ROUND - I think when SO and I have our "celebration", I'm going to suggest "Simple Man" by Shinedown as our "commitment" song. If we get married, we'll elope. I don't want a wedding. But, he DOES want some kind of celebration with close friends and family, BBQ, beer, and guitars.

2. Going to a fall festival this weekend and I’m pretty excited. I just want to eat funnel cake and pick out my pumpkins and mums.
3. I love having the air off and the windows open.
5. I forgot I signed up to make playdough for ds’ school. I should probably get that done since my first batch is due Friday lol.
6. I’ll be starting nst’s soon. Really looking forward to going to the drs twice a week now instead of just once a week 🙄.
7. Hoping to get ds’ Halloween costume set this weekend. I have zero motivation though.
8. Trying our instant pot rice cooking mode tonight. Fingers crossed we don’t end up with mushy rice.
9. It’s so nice to find a mom friend who gets my sarcasm. Plus ds and her daughter are good friends.
2. DH had been gone the last few days and he comes home tomorrow.
3. I survived my first time of being a single parent.
4. My dog tore his duclaw nail off one of his front paws again. Not fun to deal with emergency vet visits.
5. DD has been napping more in her big kid bed. Hoping this leads to her sleeping through the night there soon.
6. Debating about buying some more pregnancy pants for winter. My jeans feel like the waist band is digging in.
7. I think we finally decided on a name! Back to the one DH changed his mind on last week.
8. Got our windows changed today. Man it makes a huge difference.
9. The framing for the painting for the nursery is all done! Time to get the last few things moved into DD's new room and start getting the nursery ready
10. Starting to see a pattern in when the baby is active.
1. Started the new job yesterday. Doing a lot of training, of course. Had a training this afternoon that was so unbearably boring that it made my skin crawl and I was desperately hoping to go into pre-term labor just to get out of it.
2. Had my 1 hour glucose test this morning. Failed it. Booo. Now I need to do the 3 hour one.
3. The nurse also told me I'm mildly anemic too, so I need to start iron supplements.
4. Did a ton of work on the nursery this past weekend so I'm feeling pretty good about that.
5. Harper has been so sweet and adorable lately. I'm just really enjoying our only child time lately. She's been listening so well, communicating a lot, no tantrums, and totally excited about baby brother.
6. We settled on baby brother's name finally! My husband finally caved - but let's be honest, he was doing zero work thinking of names.
7. I decided I'd get Harper a kid's digital camera as a "siblings" gift. She likes playing with camera features and I think it'll be neat to see her perspective of little brother.
8. Harper has picture day tomorrow at daycare. Hoping these turn out better than the last 2 picture days. 🤣
9. She has dance tomorrow evening too but I have to miss it due to new job training.
10. Slightly anxious about this glucose situation. Hoping to get some answers tomorrow at my 28w appt about what it all really means, what happens if I fail the long one, what I can be doing now to improve the situation, etc.. also - holy shit, 3rd trimester already tomorrow. 😳

1. I think I had a cold last week. Slept all weekend and feel so much better this week which is good!
2. I wish people would do their jobs sometimes so I wouldn't have to mop up their messes.
3. This baby loves chocolate!
4. DH implied I was a hypochondriac because I was worried about pregnancy complications. I was pretty upset. Not sure he understands or will but he does know not to call me that now so there's that...
5. My friend is in her TWW after the first round of Clomid. I have my fingers crossed for her so hard!
6. Nursery is coming together! Organized all the hand me down clothes into bins by size and type. Feeling more in control of stuff!
7. I have so much knitting to do! Made two hats and a pair of booties in the last few weeks for other new babies.
8. It's going to start the rains now. Not sure we will get nice weather again until spring...
9. 4L of water a day (recommended by my OB) is a lot but I think it's helping.
10. My students are being whiny...
Also, what age is Harper! I really like the digital camera idea but dd might be too young! & she has already declared that the twins are going to bring her new shoes lol so im thinking the hot pink doc marten boots!
1) Got to see my friend's new baby girl yesterday and she was the sweetest thing! So tiny too at 5lbs12oz. ❤
2) Same friend from above surprised me with a baby bullet that I had mentioned wanting when we talked about feeding practices months ago. I said I definitely planned on making my own food and thought the bullet looked cute and she remembered! I was so touched at how thoughtful and generous that was!
3) Finally had the last pieces of furniture (that I ordered nearly 2 months ago!) delivered and placed today and after they left realized the fireplace heater insert doesn't fit in the tv stand. The fireplace arrived separately so I figured it would just slide in, but I think the stand was supposed to be built around it? Now I have to have a "technician" come out 😖
4) had an OB appt today and it went well! My blood pressure is much lower, almost back to normal, so I guess the baby aspirin is helping!
5) I secretly enjoy that OB can never find baby's heartbeat with the doppler because I always end up getting a quick ultrasound. It's just to check the heartrate but I inevitably get a peak at baby boy in the process 😍
6) I had such a busy day today and it was so rainy that by the late afternoon, I was wiped and not up for heading into town for the "just between friends" sale which I had bought a $12 ticket for to go to the "new mom presale" 😕 bummed at myself for missing it but I can still hit up the public opening this weekend, though most stuff will probably be picked over. I have most everything I need anyway but still annoyed for letting my paid ticket go to waste.
7) Heartburn is becoming more frequent. Tums are my friends.
8) Starting to become irrationally irritated with my cats and their curiosity. We have new furniture and new baby things coming in and of course they want to paw at and climb all over everything! I'm paranoid about cat hair and claw marks all over baby's things, and them thinking his bassinet, pack and play, crib, etc. is theirs because they're cats and they think everything is theirs and it's stressing me out! I love my cats but mama bear is starting to come out regarding baby's things lol.
9) it's finally sinking in that this will be the last holiday season with just myself and MH. In general, just a few more months of it being just the 2 of us, period. It's exciting but a little bittersweet.
10) I think we've finally settled on a baby name but MH wants us to keep it to ourselves until he's officially here and named. I have mixed feelings about that but for the most part I've made the decisions about baby, gotta throw the man a bone now and again lol
