@kpearse99 I keep getting told I look young enough to pass for a high school student. If you look young and feel young then you are whatever age you want to be 😄

Maybe not having kids yet is why I think we're all in our mid 20s. I never expected to make it past 30 with no kids!

I have been calling myself 30 since my birthday in June.
My hubby keeps reminding me I am actually 29.
Yesterday he was talking to me about my doctors appointment and said "he does know you're 30 right?" I gave him a side eye - it's only okay if i do it

@kpearse99 I totally get that, I was id'd at disneyworld last year, and on our honeymoon in spain this year..... i'm 29. Drinking age in spain is 16? and Disneyworld lets in 15 year olds without their parents. I couldn't believe it!! Both times I was wearing a ball cap though, needless to say, I don't do that anymore!

It will be a benefit when you're 40 and still looking like a 20 year old!

Here’s a confession that goes along with not acting my age/or wanting to be an adult:

I just made my husband call and make my OBGYN appointment because I didn’t want to deal with the insurance lady that messed up the last time I called.

I went with my DH to the liquor store last night as he was picking something up and the lady at the counter asked for both of our ID’s. I felt flattered lol. Afterwards she’s like omg you guys look sooo young haha. I’m in my mid thirties. I’ll take that lol. 😁 People say I look young all the time and never believe me when I tell them I’m over 30 lol.

For some reason I thought HIO meant “hit it out” and have been using that since I started posting. I saw someone post that it means “hump it out” and now it’s ruined for me! I don’t like BD either so I guess I’ll just be calling it sex from now on

We had another animal-related "incident" last night, Rosie went after a rabbit in our yard. I was screaming like a fishwife at her at 8:30 to stop it and get inside. I knew it was not going to be good for that poor thing, literally went looking for the body. Didn't find it until this morning.

Poor thing.

My FFFC is that I totally am making MH handle this one. I handled the last one. Zero regrets.

I'm not sure if I said this the other day (I've had a horrible memory lately) but Lola got a squirrel the other morning and was playing with it/tossing it in the air when I went outside to see what she was up to. I freaked out!!! Of course it was a day MH wasn't home and I had to deal with the dead squirrel myself!

Oh god @kpearse99 I'm so sorry! That's so yucky! At least mine ran away to die by itself!

It did perk me up a bit when as I was getting into the stirrups today, I saw a text from MH on my Apple Watch that if I got nervous to remember our vicious killer dog (who is actually the sweetest most gentle pup on the planet so it's hilarious).

@mvt2003 that's so sweet YH texted you that are the most perfect moment!!

Thankfully I live next to wide open field so I was able to....ackhem...toss the squirrel body over the fence... but I cried the whole time I had to do it because I felt so bad!! Also - I screamed a few times when I was trying to pick it up with the shovel because I was afraid it was really still alive and only playing dead - and that it was going to attack me!

@kpearse99 Dying!!!! This was me sprinting past the very dead snake by my door. I knew my mom killed it but I still ran by it screaming in prep for it to come alive and avenge itself.

@inthewoods23 and for you... I always type intothewoods (for the musical... not sure if you're familiar with it but @emeraldduchess would know what I was talking about!) and then I start signing songs from that show every time I type a message to you!

@kpearse99 & @mvt2003 My Ellie likes to pounce on moles and "play" with them. They squeak really loud and she thinks they are toys. She got one the other day on our walk and when it stopped squeaking she nudged it with her nose and looked up at me, repeating a couple times. Broke my heart

@meri-mac I think Rosie thinks she's playing with them too! She doesn't try to chase our cat, but bunnies, squirrels, and chipmunks drive her insane! She only catches the bunnies, because they're too dumb to crawl under our fence/even figure out that they should probably avoid our yard!
