  • @mvt2003 It really is such a good idea to do something different from candy so you're not left eating it! I bought 96 cartons of Yoo-hoo, but the max number of kids that have ever come to our door is 30+. I buy way more than needed so that we can enjoy it ourselves later haha 😆

@inthewoods23 technically speaking, the Pats don’t suck...it’s everyone else that sucks ;)

And no, we don’t have 2 comforters! Not a bad idea, though. Right now we’ve got a queen size bed with a king size comforter and it works great.
  • @inthewoods23 Separate blankets saved our marriage!! Being a little dramatic,  but seriously it's amazing to not have to share a blanket at night. We've been doing it that way for a couple years now!
Me: 31 DH: 34  Married: April 2016

  • @inthewoods23 that's a very popular opinion with me too!! But I'm a die hard Bills fan so I'll always hate the Pats!! @mvt2003 is still awesome though! 💜
  • I’m so happy all you ladies are on the Caramel apple team lol  ❤️👍 woot woot!!
  • I still love all you Pats fans ❤️ I promise.

My family has WI vs Chicago sports rivalries since we're originally from the Chicago area so it's all in fun to rip on each other depending on how teams are doing - especially when they play each other.

  • @inthewoods23 I like the idea that you give out juice box cartons to the kids. They get way too much candy anyways lol.
  • @mindyb2019 I got the idea from a Halloween when I was around 6 or so. A house had passed out apple juice and Hershey's chocolate milk and I was very excited about it because I loved chocolate milk as a kid.

I should check if apple juice is allergy friendly 🤔

Off topic, but did you know Nerds candy contains EGGS?? Who knew!

  • @inthewoods23 that’s awesome. Who wouldn’t like getting chocolate milk as a kid lol 😁WTH? Really it contains eggs? Wow I did not know that. That’s interesting.
  • @kmalls I'm the same as @kpearse99 I'm all about the top sheet, and MH also hates it. So the solution is he flips them off every night onto my side of the bed (so I'm extra toasty!) and he has his own covers that we just take off and put back on. He alleges that I am a cover stealer, I maintain that he pushes them off of his own volition. :D

  • @inthewoods23 is this because it says on the Nerds box “may contain egg”?  Cause I read somewhere that it has to say that because the factory that the nerds are made at also makes wheat and egg products so they have to put that on the package even if the nerds don’t actually contain eggs. So I guess an egg particle could end up in the nerds lol.
  • @mindyb2019 last I checked the box says "contains eggs" so it's not even a situation of it being made in a factory that uses eggs elsewhere. My guess is that egg is used as a binding ingredient 🤷‍♀️ it's just so funny because before I was thinking isn't that just pure sugar? 😆 apparently not!

  • @mindyb2019 ok so maybe only the fun sized boxes say "contains eggs" because that's all they can fit on the box lol

  • @inthewoods23 hahaha 😆 your great lol.
  • Now I want nerds. And there is no chance in hell I follow that “know your portion” guide; I’m eating the whole box.
  • @tyrion_ agreed lol. That 2 Tsp portion is BS 😆 I would eat the whole box too lol go for it!!
  • @gingermama29 my partner is also a die hard Bill's fan!

Canadians don't really do the whole fall apple thing like y'all do - but I'd vote caramel > candy.

    Also #TeamTwoComforters over here!!

My unpopular opinion is that I despise karaoke. 🤷‍♀️
