Here's one relevant to me and completely based on my own selfish wants: I don't think strollers should be allowed in Disneyland. They're always in the way and if they were banned, maybe less people would go. A girl can dream. *sigh*
@ruby696 OMG I have a horrifying experience related to pineapple pizza, but I will spare you all the details because I'm not even sure I could get through the story without dry heaving. Let's just say no one in my family can eat it because of it.

@mdfarmchick Lid goes down after each use in my house. I trained MH early. Now when I go to others' houses and see their lids up, I secretly judge them. Barbarians. (This includes my extended family.)
@ruby696 I used to work in a theme park (the joys of growing up in FL!) and I personally think strollers should be banned from all of them. In guest services I spent 95% of my time listening to people complain that people stole their stuff, they weren’t allowed in roller coaster lines, there isn’t enough stroller parking....ughhhhh if your kid isn’t old enough to walk the park, your kid isn’t old enough to enjoy it is my firm opinion.
Also, pizza should be sauce and cheese. Period! DH and DD eat it with all meat toppings and it’s so gross.
@ruby696 my mom had this rule but her siblings did not and I judge too. Most of her siblings didn’t have kids though. But when my aunts visit they put the lid down 95% of the time. But my ILs are the worst about this and leave the lid up at my house all the time. 😡
I have put the lid down my whole entire life. I didn’t even realize it was a thing that people didn’t put it down until I had my own place and people would come over and leave it up! Drives me nuts!!!!
@ieles2531 DD is 3 and we decided not to take a stroller to Disney because 1) it makes it harder to navigate crowds, 2) she is able to walk or sit on MH's shoulders and 3) the biggest reason - I would be so worried about people stealing our stuff or even the entire stroller, that I wouldn't have been able to enjoy myself.
DD would have been thrilled if we'd brought it. Then again, she asks for a stroller (or bike, wagon, etc.) with a TV, so that tells you a little bit about her desire to be a world class athlete in the future. 😒
My dad leaves not just the lid up, but the whole seat up, and it drives me INSANE. Doesn't matter how many times we remind him we have a dog and a toddler. Absolutely maddening!

I will say sometimes we now leave the lid up in the main bath because that's the one DS uses and sometimes time is really of the essence when he says he needs to go. The time it takes to lift the lid can be the difference between dry pants and wet pants sometimes! We also keep the stool at the toilet for the same reason.

@Austenista I don't understand why there seems to be the perception that you have to choose either baby wearing or stroller. I love both, and choose them interchangeably depending on the situation!

I think the toilet lid should go back down after you go to the bathroom every time. Especially when I have small kids.
Also, pizza should be sauce and cheese. Period! DH and DD eat it with all meat toppings and it’s so gross.

@r@ruby696 Yes! I love pineapple on my pizza.
@mdfarmchick In my house the toilet lid is always down. Thanks to DH being raised by his grandparents!
