So mine is that this fall I'm skipping a lot of the typical fall treats because they're all full of sugar and I'm keeping keto, partially to help keep MH keto. I'm telling everyone I don't miss the treats, but I secretly kind of do. I keep reminding myself that this is one season of life, and I'll have them again one day, I just want this other thing more right now!
ETA: Just to clarify, the UO is that I'm telling people I don't miss the fall treats part haha.

@mvt2003 haha. Least your honest that you miss them lol. Kudos to you and your Hubby for sticking to Keto.
My UO is that I personally think that Caramel apples are wayyyy better then candy apples. I’m obsessed with caramel apples and always prefer the chewy sweet Caramel over the hard sticky candy coating any day. 🍏🍎

@mindyb2019 yeess!! I have to buy one from the store every season! Just like I do with a small bag of candy corn or the mallow pumpkins! And usually around Christmas when they have the chocolate oranges I buy one too.
My UO is that candy is too typical for trick or treating, so we do the little juice box cartons of Yoo-hoo to pass out 😄 this is a waaaay easier option because I don't have to count pieces of candy or anything. Just give a box per kid. Done!

@inthewoods23 that's such a cute idea! I always end up having way too much candy that I just eat or waste so maybe i'll steal your idea this year, unless I'll be at work! @mvt2003 glow sticks is actually a really creative idea! I love them!
My UO is that I don't like most small dogs. They're usually very yappy for no reason and just overall aren't as nice/cute as bigger dogs. I had two mini dachshunds growing up and I loved them but most of the other little dogs I meet are just like.....eh. I always give them a chance before deciding if I like them or not though
@mvt2003 It really is such a good idea to do something different from candy so you're not left eating it! I bought 96 cartons of Yoo-hoo, but the max number of kids that have ever come to our door is 30+. I buy way more than needed so that we can enjoy it ourselves later haha 😆

@mindyb2019 Totally with you on the caramel apples! @konoha I agree with the small dogs. My boss occasionally brings in his dog who has separation anxiety and barks at every little noise. She is not a clinic dog by any measure.
I cannot stomach candy corn. It is a terrible mistake. I also can't stand the pumpkin spice everything.

@mindyb2019 YES GIRL caramel apples all the way! And the farm stand near us has an option where the apples are rolled in crushed peanuts after the caramel is put on. DIVINE, I tell you.
My UO: flat sheets are stupid and I hate them. All they do is get balled up at the foot of the bed. A fitted sheet and a comforter is all you need to be happy at night.
Only because it's being talked about in the WTO....
The Pats suck! 😝😜
@kmalls do you have a comforter for each of you? DH and I started doing that last year because I am apparently a covers hog. I don't miss the flat sheet at all.

@mindyb2019 I got the idea from a Halloween when I was around 6 or so. A house had passed out apple juice and Hershey's chocolate milk and I was very excited about it because I loved chocolate milk as a kid.
I should check if apple juice is allergy friendly 🤔

@inthewoods23 that’s awesome. Who wouldn’t like getting chocolate milk as a kid lol 😁WTH? Really it contains eggs? Wow I did not know that. That’s interesting.
@kmalls I'm the same as @kpearse99 I'm all about the top sheet, and MH also hates it. So the solution is he flips them off every night onto my side of the bed (so I'm extra toasty!) and he has his own covers that we just take off and put back on. He alleges that I am a cover stealer, I maintain that he pushes them off of his own volition.

@inthewoods23 is this because it says on the Nerds box “may contain egg”? Cause I read somewhere that it has to say that because the factory that the nerds are made at also makes wheat and egg products so they have to put that on the package even if the nerds don’t actually contain eggs. So I guess an egg particle could end up in the nerds lol.
@mindyb2019 last I checked the box says "contains eggs" so it's not even a situation of it being made in a factory that uses eggs elsewhere. My guess is that egg is used as a binding ingredient 🤷♀️ it's just so funny because before I was thinking isn't that just pure sugar? 😆 apparently not!

My UO is that I personally think that Caramel apples are wayyyy better then candy apples. I’m obsessed with caramel apples and always prefer the chewy sweet Caramel over the hard sticky candy coating any day. 🍏🍎

My UO is that candy is too typical for trick or treating, so we do the little juice box cartons of Yoo-hoo to pass out 😄 this is a waaaay easier option because I don't have to count pieces of candy or anything. Just give a box per kid. Done!

@konoha I agree with the small dogs. My boss occasionally brings in his dog who has separation anxiety and barks at every little noise. She is not a clinic dog by any measure.

My UO: flat sheets are stupid and I hate them. All they do is get balled up at the foot of the bed. A fitted sheet and a comforter is all you need to be happy at night.
The Pats suck! 😝😜
@kmalls do you have a comforter for each of you? DH and I started doing that last year because I am apparently a covers hog. I don't miss the flat sheet at all.
