R/R: Tonight is Open House at school, which is not my favorite night. Nothing like awkward small talk with tons of people in my room (I'm the only elementary music teacher so I get all the kids in the ES). Plus all the kids grab instruments, so it gets super noisy and I feel awkward telling the kids no in front of their parents. I'm hoping my new principal is as good as ending it right at 8:00 as my previous one was. We're doing a cool new thing with it though this year. We have food trucks coming to the school during the event. I'm excited to check them out tonight.

@gingermama29 good luck today with back to school night. Hopefully you don’t need to stay there too late tonight. Do you have time to come home after school to take a breather or no?
@gingermama29 ugh I’m sorry for the confusing cycle. All of that HIO😢. I hope you get some clarity soon. The food trucks are definitely a cool addition to your open house, I hope you find something good and that the kids aren’t too wild!
@blackgirlmagic enjoy your work from home day! Good luck in the TWW if you’re headed there!

R/R: DH and I got involved with a local foundation partially for networking and partially because we’re passionate about their work. We were invited to a dinner they are having tonight and we are a little worried we are going to be out of place. At least we will be out of place together. We’re missing our weekly dinner with my family and I’d kind of rather be eating steak hoagies in my yoga pants versus going to the dinner haha. But I’m sure it will be fine. AF is pretty much gone so I’ll probably start temping tomorrow to get this party started

R/R: so I posted yesterday about how I thought maybe I was starting my period after only a 15 day cycle. Yep. It’s definitely CD1. And I woke up with a splitting headache. I think I might just get a few essential things done at work and ask to go home. Thursday’s are usually my slowest days without any weekly meetings or care conferences.
CS/Q: Just one dot over here. At least I’m back in the groove of temping and my chart should be prettier?

CS/Q: started OPKs but still just a waiting game for something to happen
@blackgirlmagic enjoy working from home today! Hopefully we don't see you here tomorrow
@bows22 On occasion DH and I will also attend financial type dinner meetings and they're always so fancy, i hate it. I bet once you get there you'll end up having a ton of fun and meeting some pretty cool people
@HotSauceSwagBag Ugh sorry about the splitting headache. I normally get headaches around CD1 as well. It's not fun at all. Hopefully you're able to head home a bit early today

R/R: I woke up feeling super tired, AND the Patriots play tonight, so we're up late for that, tomorrow will be hard! I'm still in crazy work mode for my events next week, but I'm getting there. I'll be happy and able to breathe once they're done!
I picked up the SA lab slip yesterday!!!!!! And now today have to call the nurse line at my OB-GYN to confirm how we do it, since our PCP isn't associated with the same hospital. I also have my HSG scheduled for tomorrow, pretty anxious about that. I'm equal parts nervous to get answers and anxious to get the answers so we can make a plan and get this moving. Really wish I was a unicorn, but it looks like that's a a no, so here we go!

@gingermama29 - Hopefully all the parents and kids are distracted by the food trucks and won't spend too much time in your room!
@blackgirlmagic - So jealous that you can work from home! That is my dream!
@bows22 - That's exciting! I bet you'll end up having a good time!
@hotsauceswagbag - Sorry for the confusing short cycle.

R/R: Ughhhhh I have a night meeting tonight at work and it is going to be drama central and I'm soooo stressed out about it. I do not handle confrontation well and will completely shut down or start crying.. so this should go well. One of my board members doesn't like the chair because of a disagreement they had so he filed an open meeting law compliant with the Attorney General's Office. And it's not even an open meeting law violation! He just has a personal vendetta against her, has been sending her bullying/harassing emails, and even called her work and asked for the president's email... he is completely unhinged. And my boss can't come as my backup because she has another meeting, so I am on my own... So tonight's meeting is going to just great.

After so many cycles I have come to grips with fact that babies/pregnant ladies are everywhere. I don't get quite so upset anymore. However, I did see one of those perfectly pregnant women at Costco one day and got really annoyed at how good she looked. You can't be both gorgeous and be pregnant. One or the other!

@coffeeandcookies84 Hello, fellow Canadian! Any chance you are in Alberta? They are the only ones I know who got snow recently as my brother lives near Calgary.
@HotSauceSwagBag Oh man that sucks! Hope the headache goes away! Glad you can take sometime off work
@bows22 Hope the dinner is better than you anticipate although hoagies and yoga pants are hard to beat. Good on you for getting involved in your community!
@blackgirlmagic Enjoy working from home! That is a dream of mine.
@gingermama29 I used to be a teacher so I know all about the awkward small talk. I hope the night goes better than expected. Hopefully the kids will ask before grabbing an instrument. Food trucks will make up for all of it.
@bows22 enjoy the dinner! I hope you don't end up feeling out of place.
@HotSauceSwagBag sorry for CD 1 and a super short cycle at that. Hope your headache goes away.
@coffeeandcookies84 welcome! Hope your stay here is short. Are you hosting people for Canadian Thanksgiving or going somewhere?
@mvt2003 good luck with the HSG tomorrow. I hope everything goes smoothly and quickly.
@feather_heather ugh sorry you're dealing with BS work drama. That sounds awful. I hope the meeting goes quickly and is drama free.
@meri-mac sounds like a fun Thanksgiving planned! Enjoy all the family time! And thanks. I plan to put some of my louder instruments in my cupboards to help with the noise level but there's no storing my xylophones. Oh well. At least it's only once a year.

@blackgirlmagic Glad you get to work from home today! Poor H has to do a multi-day abstain before a SA, plus we're not supposed to HIO unprotected before my HSG, so he's SOL on multiple fronts right now
@bows22 I totally get that it would be more fun to be casual, but it's also good to get involved! Hoping you guys have a good time tonight and don't feel too out of place! Also, will totally report back about my HSG tomorrow!
@HotSauceSwagBag Sorry about CD1!!!

@HotSauceSwagBag sorry for the wonky short cycle! Hope this next one is more normal
@coffeeandcookies84 keep your snow to yourself, for now haha. I'm not ready for that yet!
@mvt2003 don't be anxious! Take some pain meds an hour or 2 beforehand to help with any potential cramping. It was uncomfortable for me since they're injecting the die and pushing it into your tubes.
@feather_heather that sounds like a nightmare of a meeting 😥😥

Opk is getting lighter but I will keep testing until I get my CH. Don't know how successful hio will be today but i'm going to try anyway. This morning I almost put the wrong temp in my chart, the .1 looked like a .7 at first, now curious about my other temps, I need glasses.
@gingermama29 oh man sorry that open house isn't your favorite, I can't imagine all the noise the kids make with your instruments. whenever my siblings and I would visit my dad's work when we were younger we would play anything we could get our hands on, usually most of the pit equipment aka loud stuff. food trucks sound so cool though! enjoy!
@blackgirlmagic that is a nice temp rise! and look at your timing! do it up
@bows22 hope you won't be too out of place at the dinner, steak hoagies in yoga pants definitely sound amazing but you should get some good networking done at least!
@hotsauceswagbag sorry that you're back here so soon. a 15 day cycle is definitely odd! fx it was just because of coming off bc. temping should totally help you see what's going on for this cycle, you can do it!
@coffeeandcookies84 welcome to wto!! plenty of room for you here! your temps look so smooth I am jealous, I guess that's a perk of the wearable sensors! omg I didn't know canada had a thanksgiving! what do you guys eat?
@mvt2003 I hope you get a boost of energy soon & yay for the sa slip and hsg!! sending you all of the good vibes for both of those!
@feather_heather i'm sorry you're feeling stressed about tonight's meeting. I hope it isn't too bad, that sounds like a rough situation and very unprofessional that person is doing that. I hate confrontation too (even if its not me being confronted). sending you positive vibes and hugs.
@meri-mac yay for canadian thanksgiving! what do you eat on thanksgiving in canada? I wonder how similar it is to the us! i'm happy that you love having your family over! sounds like a fun holiday
@inthewoods23 that trip sounds so nice!! I LOVE aquariums, you'll have to let us know how it is!! is it a far drive? also i've definitely been taking my opks at work I just wrap it and the cup up really well in paper towels and toss them in the trash...but I also have single use bathrooms so it's a little easier.

@bows22 I picked up all the food on my way into work. More than what I actually needed, and unhealthy too
@meri-mac you're right on the money. Not too many places you can hide in Canada Living close to our rocky mountains has it's downfall I suppose. Enjoy your long weekend!
@gingermama29 DH and I don't live close to any of our family, so it's just us this weekend. It's tough being away from family on the holidays, but we've grown accustom to it. We actually rented a Airbnb in the mountains for the long weekend, so we might not get turkey, but we'll have a relaxing time
@mvt2003 good luck tomorrow!
@feather_heather good luck with your meeting tonight! I'm quite the same when it comes to confrontation. Although once I get that initial cry out, I'm okay and can handle the situation fine.
@konoha happy anniversary! We have the wrinkle guard on our dryer too but I turned it off because we never take our laundry out of the dryer in a timely manner 😆 I know it's max 2 hours but that's just wasted electricity.
And yes... It's a far drive 😬 13 hours!! But about an hour of that is charging our Tesla along the way. But yeah... We have to leave kinda early since it's such a long drive and we lose and hour from changing time zones.
@mvt2003 we're likely to do music or podcasts! And sometimes we like silence in the car too. Thankfully we have similar tastes in music and things so there's no major irritation having to be in the car together for that long.

@konoha Happy 1st Anniversary! I hope you're able to spend some good quality time together, DH and I just celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary. I would say Canadian Thanksgiving is quite similar to the US when it comes to the foods we eat. We normally celebrate with a turkey and all the delicious sides, with pumpkin pie for dessert. I don't think it's as hyped up or advertised as much as in the US, but still one of my favourite holidays. When I was using a BBT thermometer, I was always so anxious that I would miss my temp, that I wouldn't sleep well in the end. I felt like I was running out of time since I'm 35, so I decided to spurge on a Tempdrop...love it!
@inthewoods23 I love a good roadtrip! When DH and I first met, we decided to drive from Toronto Canada, to California State and back. I think we were gone for a total of 3 weeks, but it was one of the most memorable trips, and we survived each other! I hope you and DH have an amazing time

WAYDTGKU: Letrozole, Metformin, prenatal, Conceive Plus, HIO EOD, temping/tracking with FF, and adding in progesterone after O.
R/R: It’s SHG day!! I came into work an hour early so I could leave an hour early to get to my appt...so I feel like I’ve been at work forever! It’s the first day back from vacation though, so at least I’m busy!
CS/Q: Not much going on...but I temped late yesterday, and then early today, so I’m going to have arrows all over the place once I get back to my normal temping time!
@gingermama29 ugh, I’m so sorry about this long/confusing cycle...hope O happens soon! Hope your Open House night goes well and you won’t have to stay later than necessary!
@blackgirlmagic hope you have a nice easy day at home! Yay for O...your timing is awesome!
@bows22 hope you have fun at the dinner! Eating steak hoagies in yoga pants does sound pretty hard to beat though!! Haha.
@HotSauceSwagBag sorry about the super short cycle, that is definitely frustrating! Hope you have a nice normal cycle this go-around though! Hope you can get out of work early like planned today!
@coffeeandcookies84 wow, I don’t even want to think about snow yet!! Hope you have a great Canadian Thanksgiving!!
@mvt2003 can you squeeze in a nap before the game tonight? Yay for getting the SA slip picked up!! Good luck with your HSG tomorrow, hope it goes smoothly and all is clear with it!
@feather_heather I hope your meeting goes well and isn’t as stressful as you are expecting! That sounds like an awful situation though! Fingers crossed it goes by quickly for you at least!
@meri-mac hope you have a great Canadian Thanksgiving as well!!
@inthewoods23 yay for your road trip!! Hope you all have a blast...that does sound like a lot of driving, but I can definitely understand wanting to save by not flying! DH and I just drove 9+ hrs both ways to vacation, and it wasn’t too bad...we just made it as fun as possible with music & stops!
@konoha Happy Anniversary!! Glad YH will be home early...hope you have a great time celebrating!

R/R: I took a social media break for a little over a week but now I'm back, checking in. My AF came 2 days early last week which was a little unusual since I'm typically like clockwork. I decided to invest in an ovulation testing kit this month (Clearblue).
I'm super excited because I bought paint for our bedroom! Goodbye 25-year-old off-white dingy paint job. Hello bright white ceiling and light blue walls. Everything is taped off and I'll be working at it in sections. I guess we'll be sleeping in the guest room for the next few days.
@gingermama29 Open house... yuck. We have ours next week so I feel your pain. I'm a special ed teacher so most of the parents have no need to talk to me. And the ones that do usually save it for 1:1 meetings, not really open house. So mostly I walk around awkwardly bc I'm required to be there. Food trucks sound like a genius idea!
@coffeeandcookies84 and @meri-mac Happy Thanksgiving!
@feather_heather That meeting sounds stressful, hope it turns out okay!
