DS is insisting on being a monkey so I ordered a costume off amazon today. We have a Halloween party where costumes are encouraged so I might wear a yellow dress and say I’m a banana

DS1 wants to be a Power Ranger and DS2 wants to go as a Transformer. I’m not sure what I’ll dress DS3 in (he’s 1). So, I’ll probably just dress him in one of his brothers’ old costumes. I don’t usually dress up, but I love decorating my house for Halloween!! Going to start buying pumpkins tomorrow 🎃
DS has a party favor mask and cape so he’s going to be a blue ninja turtle with those and some of his own stuff. I’ve got a bright orange maternity top so I’m adding felt to be a pumpkin. DH is doing face paint and straw to be a scarecrow.
My boys are being Woody and Buzz. Ds1 decided for them both lol
We are missing the Halloween party we go to every year bc my brother is getting married that day but I’m debating on doing something cutesy/cliche with my pregnant self when we trick or treat
@jvk2012 that’s my problem, too! Both my older sons always want to be several different things. Now that my oldest is six and we have accumulated a decent amount of boy Halloween costumes over the years, I always drag the old costume box out before we go to the Halloween store so they can try on their old stuff. For some reason, it helps them narrow down what they want at the store. 🤷🏻♀️
DD is being Minnie Mouse, so I bought my husband a goofy shirt and a Maternity Minnie Mouse shirt for me that says mommy and Minnie since we are having another girl.
I’ve made my daughter’s costumes the last four years. She wants to be Marshall from Paw Patrol this year. I want to make it, but I’ll have to see if it will just be easier and cheaper to buy it from Target.
I saw a cute avocado one where the pit goes over your belly. I’ve also seen a cute skeleton one with a tiny baby skeleton on the stomach area lol. Not sure if I’ll go with either of these but they’re kind of cute
@nhh11 I’ve been thinking of doing the Avocado 🥑 for years (before I was even pregnant because I love avocados so much!), but I haven’t dressed up in years and feel too lazy to make it 😂
@leksiL, I will be honest, I don’t watch it enough with her to know. 😂 Everest and Rubble are my favorites, but she is obsessed with Marshall and Chase.
