@nitnat007 Ok that makes sense. I wasn't sure what you meant by 50/50 donor but now I get it. I'm glad that the appointment went pretty well. @mvt2003 I think it depends what testing you are doing and if you have waits for certain things like ultrasound, HSG, etc. Bloodwork results don’t take long to come in. We did SA in May or June.. started testing bloodwork in July, U/S in august. We have our first meeting coming up next week to discuss more testing/next steps. FX you are able to get results quickly and make a plan! Are you working with an RE?

@nitnat007 So sorry you and your H are not on the same page. Glad to hear that he asked questioned and was engaged in the process at your appointment. It may take some time for him to come to terms with this but I’m keeping FX he comes around soon!

CD 9 here with an 18 mm follicle (super early thanks to Clomid 100 mg) but lining is only 5.5 up from 5 on Tuesday. Any suggestions? I know this can be a side effect of Clomid and I’ve never had a lining issue before...

@misshelen86 Thanks!!! We're starting our testing with my OB-GYN, and I'm beginning my RE research. I'm lucky that I'm in a major medical area so I know I have options, but I'm a little overwhelmed by the choices right now. @hanshotfirst77 Yay! Such awesome news! AFM, all they said after BW was to come back tomorrow instead of Sunday. My original return date was Wednesday! I think we are all worried this wI’ll be a busted cycle. I thought that starting at 100 mg was a bit much considering I don’t have problems ovulating... I can ask, but I’m guessing it’s too late. We did get one BD in and will get two more tonight and tomorrow, but I’m guessing we won’t trigger if the lining isn’t good.

Ahhhh triggering tonight! 20 mm follicle and lining just made it to 7 mm after a couple of measures. This affirms to me the need to advocate and use OPKs / temp even when seeing an RE because they hadn’t even planned on me getting checked again for 3 more days.

I should also get my repeated ACL results. If it’s bad, we might have to add Lovenox injections later...

Ladies I am probably going to sound like a total newbie/moron right now but the REs office is closed, so...
I am so pissed at my body right now. I can't tell if I O'ed or not. My OPKs have been positive (as dark as the control line) in the AM then negative PM. One minute my CP feels low and closed, then high and open the next. I had all the O cramping on Wednesday, but my temp didn't go up until this AM, so I took my first dose of progesterone. Of course, that's when I noticed the EWCM. Now I am having little O cramps again, my CP is high and open again and my AM OPK was another +. WTF is going on?? Did I screw it up by taking my progesterone too early? Grrrr....

@hanshotfirst77 I don’t think so... I’d be too afraid of getting a false positive from the ovidrel, even though it should be out by 10 days. IF I do test early it won’t be until next Saturday on 12 dpiui but I’ll likely wait until the betas. You??

@emeraldduchess ahhh it sounds like you’re in the rollercoaster I was in last cycle. I don’t know if i have any insight or knowledge to help answer. I believe progesterone can cause EWCM so it could be from that. I don’t think it would mess anything up... maybe HIO just in case?

I am supposed to do progesterone 2×/day but I think I will hold off on this evening's dose and then if my temp is up tomorrow I will pick back up with it. Ovaries, why do you do this to me?!?

@emeraldduchess Just repeat to yourself, “I cannot control what my body does.” It’s so hard and I know you don’t want to miss this, but worrying won’t help you. Can you email a nurse? Do they have an after hours line?

Personal experience: I get OPKs that are positive for about 3 days. CM always matches (except not much this cycle due to Clomid - Boo!) Usually a temp rise plus cramping shows I O on the second or third day. But I’ve also had those double batches of positives and CM and didn’t O until the second surge later in the cycle. I’ve also had CM after O, sometimes a week of it in total. I didn’t realize my office did appointments and procedures 7 days a week until they told me my IUI was tomorrow morning and Monday too! Try to ask if you can.

@NYTino24 they have an on-call fellow at the hospital but it's for emergencies. I haven't really had EWCM the last few cycles so I was surprised to see it this morning when I went to put it the progesterone (I am fairly sure it was EWCM and not *ahem TMI* leftover preseed/semen). I'll even go cycles without a blazing +OPK. I'm also not 100% sure if the temp rise is due to O or because I had wine and then woke up at 2 am (it usually doesn't change too much when I have wine and this morning was a big spike).

Hi friends! It’s been another busy week w no time to get deep into this convo until the weekend. *Sigh* Will respond to the tag I saw & then come back to tag others once I get fully caught up w this thread.

@kpearse99 I had major cramping in the early morning after the IUI—pretty positive that it was ovulation. Since then I’ve had days here & there w twinges of cramps, but I’m SS. Last night I went to the State Fair & stood on the carousel & got dizzy w yucky cramps & nausea after. I have a bad feeling about that. Hope I’m wrong. Here are my notes from FF as well, where I had much more hope.

Diagnosis (if you've been): AMA, DOR—I reject both; RPL, Autoimmune stuff, blood-clotting mutations

Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): TWW

What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): Did IUI 10 days ago. Also did intralipids along with steroids to keep my immune system in check. Will do more of the same if this cycle is lucky.

How are things going?: Not good today: I’m still in my pajamas & it’s sunset. This morning the hCG trigger shot finally tested out of my system: test strip was white. Based on my history, today would be my day to know if this cycle was successful. Will continue to hpt... Official betas in 5 more days.

Any questions?: Has anyone who did an IUI ever gotten their blazing positive OPK *AFTER* the IUI? Mine hit “Peak” the day after the IUI & so I’ve been questioning the timing this entire TWW. I’ve also been wondering if the trigger made the OPK turn?...

GTKY: What’s something non-fertility related that you’re looking forward to in the next month? Sorry, it’s 100% fertility brain around these parts. I have my appointment w the Reproductive Immunologist in less than a month—finally!!!

@NYTino24 Good luck tonight! What a relief that your lining thickened up just in time. And I agree w you 💯 on temping & OPKs even when working with an RE. Like you, it’s led them to see me much sooner than they originally planned.

@emeraldduchess So sorry for the confusing symptoms! But, you’re lucky that cervix feels high & open & you have EWCM—all clear signs that you should go for it! Re: the progesterone, it often gives me more CM & softens the cervix but it has never caused my cervix to feel open. My RE used to tell me to take it after 3 days of high temps—well away from O so as not to screw with the egg/embryo’s journey. This last time she told me to wait 5 days to take it as she thought I might have been interfering w implantation by taking it 3DPO. All this to say, HIO, girl! and then probably pause on your next progesterone dose for a few days. Of course, only your doc can tell you about that dosage timing for sure. Good luck!

@keikilove I really hope today or tomorrow brings you good news! Haven’t done IUI before, but I’ve had very positive LH tests after O and it was a good thing.

As for the cervix thing, I now feel mine dilating too. It’s crazy!
@emeraldduchess I forgot to add that I did something similar last cycle. I took the progesterone when they told me to, but I think I ovulated 2 or so days after they thought because they didn’t repeat the US. I was wondering if the progesterone could have messed things up too, but I took it consistently. If you wanna stop until getting BW tomorrow, it’s not a bad idea.

@keikilove that’s weird about the carousel thing...I did the trigger on a Saturday and IUI on that Monday... I got blazing positive OPK the Sunday, Monday (IUI day), Tuesday and Wednesday after the trigger/IUI. I stopped testing because I read in several places that the trigger shot does give you positive OPKs for days after you take it... 🤷🏻‍♀️ I was wondering the same thing, that’s why I googled the ish out of it.
