Trying to Get Pregnant

WTO Wednesday 10/2

**This is a thread that welcomes all regardless of where they are at in their TTC journeys. Please be mindful of topics that are discussed that could be hurtful to those going through tough times. Mention of children or pregnancies of others should have a TW (trigger warning) and be in a spoiler if possible, and only be mentioned if it is extremely pertinent to the conversation. Thanks for keeping this a safe place for us all to engage!**

Re: WTO Wednesday 10/2

  • Month/Cycle: 4/3

    CD: 25

WAYDTGKU: BBT, tracking CF, using FF, OPKs, prenatals

R/R: ugh temp is down this morning which means I still haven't O'd. Super frustrating. I O'd on CD 26 last cycle so hopefully it'll be any day now. But I'm still here and annoyed at my body.

    CS/Q:

  • @gingermama29 sorry there's no sign of O yet! I hate those cycles when you're sitting there still waiting to O and everybody seems to be moving into their next cycle already because their cycles are 28 days.

    Month/Cycle: 28/23

    CD: 6

    WAYDTGKU: SHG and BW

R/R: the sirens went off last night around 10 for a potential tornado and I was not chill about that. I get so anxious and start thinking about losing everything we own and also whether or not we'll be able to wrangle my cat and get her downstairs. Watching the movie Twister as a kid did not do me good lol. Eventually we saw that the warning would expire due to the storm weakening to a point it wouldn't produce a tornado so that was a relief. That rain though... Our front yard is flooded in the ditch area next to the road (like a culvert?). We did lose power at some point last night but it must have been brief.

CS/Q: on the up and up.

  • @inthewoods23 yay a friend over here! I was feeling lonely all by myself in this thread. The tornado sirens would have also terrified me, especially happening that late. I have horrible anxiety for severe weather, specifically tornadoes, but I get anxious with thunderstorms and high winds too. I'm glad the storm weakened though! Sorry your yard is flooded. That's never fun.
  • @gingermama29 yeah some weather I'm fine, but DH started joking about the sirens before they went off and I asked him to stop because it makes me anxious to even talk about the possibility of these things happening!

  • @inthewoods23 my H is the same way. He loves severe weather and it took a long time for him to understand my anxiety about it and how I couldn't control how I felt about it. He's much better about being sensitive to my anxiety now.
  • @gingermama29 speaking of anxiety! I could have added to my R/R that I got through a portion of the dirty dishes. Got through all the small stuff like knives, thermoses, etc. Did get to a few pans cleaned, but that's the majority that's left. But hey, a little more counterspace is available! 😁

  • Hey friends! Sorry I’m late to the (very small) party today...just worked a 1/2 day this morning so had to get things done! But I am officially on vacation now!

    Month/Cycle: 17/11/1 AL#2

    CD: 59

WAYDTGTKU: Benched...SHG next cycle and will restart Letrozole & add in progesterone.

R/R: I’m stuck in this dumb cycle forever (sorry, being over-dramatic)!! Still spotting...cramping is off & on which I feel like doesn’t normally happen while just spotting. But no full flow, so I know it’s not technically CD1 yet! I guess my body is just waiting for the road trip or the beach! I’m off to start packing now...probably should have done some of that last night!

    CS/Q: None.

@gingermama29 so sorry O hasn’t happened yet! Hope it happens in the next couple of days though so you can move onto the TWW!

@inthewoods23 sorry for the anxiety with the sirens last night! Glad the storm weakened and nothing bad happened though! I’ve thought about it before if something were to happen and we had to get the cats out fast...I told DH we would need to stuff each in a pillow case or something, because they would freak out and run away once we got outside if we just carried them! We have crates for them, but they are in the garage. Hopefully none of us ever have to deal with that though! Yay for getting some of the dishes done!!

  • @bluetickgal happy vacation!

  • @inthewoods23 thanks lady!!

@kpearse99 the meds are supposed to suppress O, so probably not. I did take a test Monday though, because I felt nauseous for a bit! 😂 Provera is not supposed to be taken if pregnant (I took tests before & while taking it to make sure I wasn’t), so I was somewhat relieved. I definitely appreciate the hopeful thoughts!
  • Woooo! Just got a high OPK!

@bluetickgal sorry for the marathon cycle. Happy packing tonight!

Well I will join in then since this thread was nice and easy to read today!
@bluetickgal I hope AF comes and goes in a hurry. I’m sure it’s incredibly frustrating!
@gingermama29 I hope O is soon for you. Mine used to be irregular and later, so it was really hard to trust OPKs earlier on.
@inthewoods23 If it makes you feel any better, my sink is full of yesterday’s dishes. I took the Clomid at 7 and felt pretty gross soon after so I just went to bed and obviously DH didn’t do them. Not having a dishwasher sucks.

    Month/Cycle: 10/10

    CD: 7

WAYDTGKU: HIO, RE visits for US/BW, OPKs, checking CM and CP, BBT, Magnesium, B6, B complex, D3, Iron, Selenium, Prenatal with DHA, Vitex, CoQ10, Macca, monitoring at the RE + Clomid + Ovidrel + progesterone

R/R: super hot today - 94 without AC when I left work. Luckily we hung in there. Tomorrow I have an observation first thing and then I have an SGO (student growth objective) to submit. I have to read all of their writing prompts, grade them, and then sort them into groups before writing rubric goals. I NEVER have even half the (paid) time I need to do paperwork that’s just loosely related to my job.

    CS/Q:

It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*

@NYTino24 thanks! Ugh, no AC in that heat sounds awful! Hope it’s better tomorrow...even though it’s a busy day!
  • *lurking @gingermama29 yay finally! I know how long you’ve been waiting!
  • Lurking from tww - I didn’t get a chance to read this yesterday but I wanted to say happy vacation @bluetickgal! I can’t wait to hear all about it! AF is such a jerk!
  • @bows22 thanks friend!! Spotting has basically stopped now...I may call the RE later and see if I can just call that a light AF and start my Letrozole. Pretty positive they will tell me to wait though. We’ll see! I’ve got everything crossed for you and hoping today was just too early to test!!
