GTKY: What is something you are REALLY looking forward to once baby is born? Baby wearing again and seeing how my five year old interacts with her sister
@ibabyloveb87 I’m having a repeat c-section around the 11th or 12th.
How are you feeling? My feet are so incredibly sore first thing in the morning!
Raves/Rants: Still waiting for these elusive kicks everyone keeps feeling
Questions: none
GTKY:What is something you are REALLY looking forward to once baby is born? Kissing those perfect cheeks and feet and hands and head.... really everything! But I also know I'll miss carrying my baby with me 24/7 and knowing he/she is safe.
Upcoming Appointments: I had the anatomy scan today, so next appointment is 10/30 with my OB.
How are you feeling? Still so thankful to be out of the nausea phase!! Lower back pain has been going on for a few days, otherwise, feeling okay.
Raves/Rants: Rave: it was so neat to see our little guy again. Kiiinda started feeling what I think is movement, though it's easy to miss unless I stop what I'm doing and concentrate on it. Starting to feel more and more real!
Questions: none.
GTKY: What is something you are REALLY looking forward to once baby is born? Holding him in my arms 💙 Can't wait for all the snuggles.
EDD/W+D: 20 weeks! 2/14 (don’t kick me out of this group!:))
Team finding out/pink/blue/green: blue
Baby is the size of a(n): banana
Upcoming Appointments: Another US 10/11 to get a pic of baby’s kidneys that they couldn’t get at the anatomy scan. I’m excited I’ll get another look at him!:)
How are you feeling? Good... bump is definitely visible now! Really hoping to feel kicks soon! I can’t imagine what that feels like
Raves/Rants: back pain
Questions: Anyone have any registry hacks? I started this weekend and it feels overwhelming. I’ve gotten recs from 4 of my mom friends so any products that all 4 of them recommend, I’m pretty much just adding to the registry without much research.
GTKY: What is something you are REALLY looking forward to once baby is born? I’m so curious to see what he’ll look like! And I can’t wait to love on him and see my husband with him
@nhh11, check out LuciesList.com for product reviews. I found that site not too overwhelming. Also, a lot is personal preference so what one friend loves another friend may hate. Sometimes you just have to pick one and move on.
How are you feeling? a lot of pain in SI joint. Yesterday I went running and I had a lot of ute pain. I think I will need a belly band if i'm serious about continuing running.
Raves/Rants: Rant - my DD1 is having troubles lately. She is clearly upset about something and is being very whiny and crying a lot. If she has trouble opening a yogurt for example, she doesn't ask for help she yells and screams. I then ask are you having trouble opening your yogurt? Don't cry, ask for help, and make her ask me before helping. I'm not sure if this is the right thing or what.
Rant #2 - Cigna healthy babies program is ridiculous *TW* every time they call I speak with a CSR, not a nurse like with BCBS, and they ask me about MC history. Like we want to talk about that every conversation. This time I said we've been over that and I'm not discussing it again *end TW* Also it's more a screening for them, it does not help me at all. Do you have any questions? I'm like are you a nurse? No. Well what TF do you know? LOL if i have questions will ask my midwife.
Rave - I will find something to rave about next week, promise
Questions: none
GTKY: What is something you are REALLY looking forward to once baby is born? - having some time alone with baby. That sleepy time when baby falls asleep at your breast and you can read your book in peace or catch up on binging a show. Seeing baby and DD1 bonding and 'playing'.

@nhh11 echo what @jvk2012 said. Also going to the stores in person to touch things can be incredibly helpful. Also don't just pick the cheapest thing, I regret getting the high chair we got so much and now have to use it a second time LOL

How are you feeling? I have yet to have any second trimester goodness. I'm more tired, still nauseous without my zofran, feeling large and ungainly and fat, chin is breaking out, sluggish and unenergetic, winded easily going upstairs or hills...etc etc. All I do is complain about how miserable I feel and then I feel bad I've been craving cold stuff lately - mostly drinks.
Raves/Rants: To go along with my tiredness and sluggishness, I've been pretty worthless in regards to continuing our registry research. Fortunately we nailed down the essential stuff but there's still SO much to put on there that we need and it's overwhelming. The nursery room has been empty for a while now which is good but I need to like, make a plan for it and I also have no interest in doing that right now. So unmotivated! The rave is that I've definitely been feeling more movement this last week.
GTKY: What is something you are REALLY looking forward to once baby is born? Is it wrong to look forward to no longer being pregnant? I'm excited to meet them and I can't wait to see my husband become a dad.
@leksiL, my daughter has been a hot mess for almost a week now. I blame terrible two's. She has been incredibly defiant and causing all sorts of trouble and not listening at all. I think it's too early for it to be because of baby....I hope...
Actually DD1 was so freaking cute yesterday it was killing me. And then at bedtime we let her listen to all the Carol King Maurice Sendak songs, and then she had to read all the books and then she wanted to read them a second time and we were back on the struggle bus. I swear she could listen to Pierre all freaking night!!
BTW I hate saying no to reading because it's my favorite thing ever but Pierre can suck it. She does whisper "I don't care" at all the right points which is its only saving grace LOL

@leksiL that’s the thing about 3. It’s awful except when they’re soooo cute! And I hate saying no to reading too because it’s reading, but sometimes you have to go to bed. Ha
