- How you found out: Last Saturday, on the 4th day late, took 8 pregnancy tests haha! First three positive, then four negative, then another positive-I was so confused! Got another positive Sunday morning, confirmed at the doctor Monday!
- Hobbies, Job, Etc.: I’m a high school English teacher-that consumes most my time! But I love to sing and dance when I get the chance, photography, going to sporting events/concerts/movies etc.
- Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies: Married to my husband 2 years, so far we just have our little maltipoo Rory:) So we’re very excited for our first baby!
- Anything you’d like us to know: I’ve dealt with a lot of anxiety in the past so hoping to keep that under control! So far I’ve been nervous but surprisingly positive. Also I can’t stop wondering about the gender-I honestly am hoping for a certain one pretty bad. Mostly just dying to get the first trimester done so I know baby and me are healthy and okay, then hoping I’ll sleep better at night!
Hi May Mamas! I am so happy to be sharing these priceless moments with you all. I am still in shock that this is now my life!! I am a 38 year old FIRST time Mom (yayyy) married 2 years to my wonderful supportive husband. I am in Dermatology Sales and love to travel in my spare time! In fact, we were just off a beautiful anniversary vacation in Maui, HI when I realized I missed my period. I waited on it to arrive the entire time in Maui—nothing. On the way home from the airport we stopped to purchase several pregnancy tests. The first one displayed one pink line/one faint pink line. I didn’t get too excited however I knew that usually means positive.. we waited a couple days to retest—and here I am!! EDD May 3rd (first doctor appointment next week to confirm due date). Ready to learn and share with you all on this amazing journey we’ve all been chosen to take at the same time!! So cool!!
@KaylaSadie - Welcome! I very badly wanted a boy and had a girl instead for my first. I can tell you that once I got over my initial disappointment, I’ve been so surprised at how much I love having a girl. All that to say, it’s okay to have a preference, but try not to let that drag you down if you don’t end up with what you’re dreaming of. ❤️

This was my same experience. After the anatomy scan I would walk around the girls section at Target so many times and slowly got more and more excited. Now I couldn't imagine it any other way.
Hi everyone:) I am excited to be apart of this group! As of now my EDD is 5/27. I found out on Thursday of this week after I was 3 days late. I took two pregnancy test and they were both clear positives. This will be baby #2 for us. We have a 4 year old daughter who has been asking for a sister for about 2 years now 😆 we probably won’t tell her until we are into the 2nd trimester just to be safe. I became pregnant February of this year but unfortunately lost our little love 6 weeks in. We are hopeful this will be a smooth and healthy pregnancy just as my first one was 😊
As far as my career, I provide behavioral services to children with special needs. I have been in the field for 5 years now and love it! I love love to spend time with my family and now that I have finished up with school and all my studies I want to spend a lot more time in the kitchen increasing my recipe list.
I scheduled my first doctors appointment for 10/4. Can’t wait till then 😌😌
Hi ladies! I just got my BFP this morning! Based on some quick calculations, it looks like my EDD is 5/28/2020. I am a registered broker and manage a small investment brokerage firm. My fiancé works at a quasi military youth academy. He should be on his way home from work within the next hour or so, I haven’t even told him the news yet! I had my IUD removed early July and we’ve been TTC since then. I have one DS, I have one DS both from previous relationships and we will be getting married in Seattle on November 9th! Looking forward to getting to know you ladies!
- EDD 5/10 - I found out when I missed my period. I didn’t think I was pregnant & took a test only to appease my husband. We weren’t trying & thought we were being careful. - I’m a stay at home mom. I love reading & decorating. - I’ve been with my partner for 12 years (7 years married). We have a 6 year old son & a 4 year old daughter. They’ve both been asking for a brother & sister. Ha ha. We also have 1 fur baby a Sheltie named Memphis. He’s the best dog with our kiddos. - we are not finding out the gender this time & the waiting may drive me crazy. With both pregnancies before I could tell what I was having before we found out. We are also waiting to tell our families until I start really showing (maybe Christmas). We are enjoying our little secret right now because once my mom finds out she tells everyone. We go to Disney world in November with my mother in law so we have have to tell her sooner.
EDD (Estimated Due Date): May 26 - How you found out: We have been trying for a while (9 months) so I was bound to POAS at some point. I held off until 12-13 dpo (last Sunday). We had a friend coming into town so it was a good excuse to know before hand. The test changed almost immediately, so it was pretty exciting! - Hobbies, Job, Etc: I work in a biotech company as a project manager, I love building puzzles (although I am pretty bad at framing/saving them once put together), traveling and hiking. - Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies I am been with my DH since college, going on 17 years total (7 married). We have a 33 month old DD and a 5 year old Cockapoo. - Anything you’d like us to know 🙂 *Posting from mobile app so I am still learning the capabilities that can be used here....

I will also start posting in PGAL check ins. ***********end TW

Hi everyone! I just found out yesterday after I POAS to see if another drink was a good idea. I totally thought I was just experiencing PMS. Oops! I have a 4.5 YO boy and a 2 YO girl. We have only been trying for this one cycle since I had a loss in July. I was planning on getting an IUD if it didn’t workout this month. I work for a biomanufacturing company in the quality control lab but my particular position is going away so I will be moving to a different roll soon.
I’m a 33 year old nurse from Wisconsin and I’m excited and anxious to be here. I have twin daughters who are 4 and the result of lots of fertility treatments and 2 rounds of IVF.
My husband and I were planning to meet with our fertility doc about a frozen embryo transfer, our appt was actually this coming Thursday! Last week I sat down with the appointment paperwork and was documenting my last few cycles.... I noticed it had been about 40 days or so since my last period. My husband told me to take a test so we ran to target and were 100% SHOCKED to see it turn positive!
It has been a crazy whirlwind of emotions since then, as I never thought I would end up pregnant on my own! My EDD is around 5/17 I believe... I won’t see an OB until this upcoming week.
As for hobbies...We love to travel, go see live music and check out new restaurants/breweries (no more beer for me 😂). I’m also a family and newborn photographer! I’ve been spending most of my time lately adjusting to our new routine with my girls in preschool.
IVF #1 September 2014 - Transferred one 5-day blast : BFN
FET #1 October 2014 - Transferred two 5-day blasts: BFP!!
Hello, all! I’m gograce. I was semi-active on the O15 board, lurked the O17 board, and maybe I’ll be able to keep up this time. I still talk to several girls from O15. It’s been so great watching our kids grow, celebrating new phases of life, supporting each other through the bad. I couldn't have made it this far without them.
-EDD: Apps are estimating my due date as 5/31, my mom’s birthday! - How you found out: We tried during my fertile period this cycle, so I’ve been testing the last couple of days. This morning I had a faint positive. Fingers crossed that it sticks! - Hobbies, Job, Etc.: I’m back to teaching this school year after being a SAHM for almost four years. I was a new teacher when my son was born, so it’s almost like being brand new again. - Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies: DH and I have been together 7 years. We’ve got two children, DS 4 (or will be 4 next week) and DD 2 (will be 2 this week). *TW* I experienced a chemical pregnancy in between our babies. *TW end* We also have a tuxedo cat, Cleo. Cleo showed up on our doorstep hurt, hungry, and having recently given birth in April of this year. We never found kittens near our house, and, honestly, that’s for the best. She’s fixed and an indoor kitty now. She’s unbelievably patient with our wild ones. -Anything you’d like us to know 🙂: My oldest two children were born via csection. I’ll be calling this week to set up my first appointment in October. I’m very excited at the prospect of having a “tie breaker” baby. Last thing, I use too many emojis. 💁🏻♀️
-EDD: May 22 - How you found out: My boobs were sore and I felt bloated....realized I was a day late so took a test and was very surprised! We were not trying; thought we had closed the book on that chapter of our lives. (I’m 39, hubby is 47!) - I work full time outside the home as a document clerk for aircraft maintenance. - Married for 10 years. His: Son 22, daughter 18, Mine: Son 17, Ours: daughter 7, 4 in heaven. - We have a history of loss so this little miracle is a high risk pregnancy.
EDD: May 21 - How you found out- this was the first cycle of ttc, around 12dpo I decided to test even though symptomless and saw a very faint positive. - Work in finance and have a spouse who works away from home for weeks at a time. - Husband and I have been together over 10 years but just eloped this past year with our 3 year old son present. We’ve got two dogs and two cats, just a full house of crazy!
Hi! I found out I am pregnant with my third. I already have 2 little girls and we are excited to add the final piece to our family. My due date is 5/24, but I’ll probably go earlier as I’ll be a repeat c and that’s a holiday weekend. I’m an elementary school art teacher who just went back to work a few weeks ago after a year and a half leave following the birth of my second. Fatigue has already hit me hard! My body is not used to these long days!
my family loves to be outdoors and I love to garden. We hike and enjoy the wildlife preserve and trails next to our house. I had a loss in July, so we are keeping this one a secret till trimester 2. So this forum will be the one place I can hush about our new surprise!
Hi! I found out I was pregnant about a week ago! EDD is 05/24. First pregnancy and can't help to feel nervous about the possibilities of miscarriage. Symptoms so far are very sore breasts and cramps. Cramps got really intense last night and kept me up! First doctor's appointment is next week (I was supposed to have my yearly physical so good timing). Do your significant others usually attend the first appointment?
@knottieffa5ff01cf7609ac My DH hasn't come to either of my first appointments for DD or this one. For me they just confirm what my HPT said and talk about vitamins and eating safely. I got a script to get my blood drawn at lab and that was that. DH really came to the US appointments with DD.
Welcome to the board! Check out the knottie user name thread to change your username.
Hello everyone! Tentatively joining in. I was a member of Aug18 and am still a big member of our fb group. I loved getting to know the ladies in that group and am looking forward to getting to know all of you in this group!
- EDD (Estimated Due Date) 5/30/20 - How you found out My periods are still irregular, I am still nursing my first. But I was “late” so I decided to test and got a faint positive. We were vacationing at the beach and I got to tell my husband during a walk on the beach! - Hobbies, Job, Etc. I am an occupational therapy assistant and work in skilled nursing. We love to be outdoors and go hiking, camping, beaching. - Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies DH and I have been married for almost 3 years. We have a 14 month old DD who is the best thing ever. We also have a 9 year old pit rescue who is an amazing big sister. - Anything you’d like us to know 🙂 *TW sort of? Pregnancy complications* DD is our miracle baby, I had an incredibly high risk pregnancy, preterm labor, bed rest, c-section at 35 weeks, and week long NICU stay. She is happy and healthy now with no long term complications. This will also be a high risk pregnancy, but hoping for a smoother go of it and a VBAC.
Hi ladies! I figured I'd jump on over and introduce myself, although honestly I'm in a state of shock I'm here. This was a "surprise" pregnancy, and I just got a BFP this morning.
- EDD (Estimated Due Date) My EDD is 5/29/20 based on my LMP. I wasn't tracking this time around, so I don't know for sure when I ovulated. - How you found out The nausea kind of tipped me off. I get nausea right off the bat when I get pregnant. I've been feeling "off" for a few days, and extremely nauseous. I'm also a day late. I decided to take a test for mental sanity reasons, and was totally shocked when it was positive. - Hobbies, Job, Etc. I work full time in an IT department. I love reading, organizing my planner, and hand lettering. - Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies DH and I have been married for a little over 3 years, together for almost 7. DS is 20 months and he is my heart. We also have a ginger cat and a black lab.
Hello! Jumping in here even though DD is June 2020, but I'm like a hot second pregnant soooo there is no June 2020 board yet.
- EDD (Estimated Due Date) June 3 - How you found out 2 lines on a wondfo. I just had this feeling I was going to end up pregnant this month, no idea why. We weren't trying (nor were we preventing), but I've always hoped for an oops this go around because that sounds way easier than TTC and not meeting success, like with my last. - Hobbies, Job, Etc. Middle school ELA teacher - Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies - Husband, 2 boys (5 and 3) and a pup! - Anything you’d like us to know 🙂 This is my 3rd BMB and I'm excited to be back on TB!
Hey all! EDD is May 25. It'll be another RCS, so we're looking probably at some time the week before I officially found out on September 10 but I knew already, the way you know about a good melon. Plus, PMS doesn't make me puke, so there's that. We've been trying all summer, so I knew exactly when I ovulated and when I could test. I have zero chill. I enjoy sleeping, crocheting, sleeping, walking down every aisle at Target, cooking (as long as it isn't meat at the moment), watching trashy Bachelor/ette shows, and sleeping. I've been married for 8 years next month, and we have a DS 7 and a DD 5.5. 2u2 was rough rough rough, and now they're both in school and I'm ready for #3! We also have a cat who is an a*hole but a terrific mouser, and a Huskador who is the goodest good girl in the world...when she isn't eating yet another pair of Birkenstocks. Anything you’d like us to know: a chickpea is neither a chick nor a pea
I was getting nauseous cooking breakfast and DH told me to go take a test and sure enough!
My hobbies include anything outside! I love hunting, fishing, camping, etc.
DH and I are high school sweethearts. We have been together for 8 years. Wow, time flies! We have two dogs, two goats, five chickens and 3 cows including a bottle calf that tries to come in the house!
Hello ladies! This may be a little soon, but I’m going into this pregnancy with the hope all will go smoothly

I kept looking and looking for this group on the app and it just showed up today! I’m so excited to be here. I’m Jordan. I am just a hair shy of 30 and this is our fourth baby. It will also be my fourth c-section 😬. We live in Oklahoma and I am mainly a SAHM.

- Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Fur-babies- Husband is a construction superintendent. I have three kids already. Beckett is 6, Ford is almost 4 and Collins just turned 2. - Anything you’d like us to know 🙂 I love some goooood trashy reality tv
Hi! This is my 3rd pregnancy. I have a 6 yo and a 4 yo and I am a SAHM. We always wanted a 3rd, but once we had two, we were like “nope, 2 is good for us!” But as my youngest got out of the toddler stage, we started talking about wanting a third again. We even got rid of all of our baby stuff after we had our 2nd, so now we have to buy basically everything again. Sigh!! Lol.
Hi All I’m new to discussion groups like this but here goes:
- EDD (Estimated Due Date): 5/25/2020 - How you found out: Took a test while my husband was at work thinking it would say no...3 tests later I finally believed it! Lol - I work as a behavior analyst, primarily with children diagnosed with autism. Hobbies are running and music (playing, signing, listening) - I have a husband and two pups - This is my first pregnancy and I’m so so excited!!

Hi Ladies! Jumping in, feeling like it's still super early!
- EDD (Estimated Due Date): May 29, So I'm very end of the month!
- How you found out: I woke up super early needing to pee, and didn't want to waste the FMU, so I tested, and thought I saw a super faint line. So I waited and took a few more tests, and the lines were there.
- Hobbies, Job, Etc. : I'm pretty boring... I like to hike, watch movies, read... but I have a toddler, so I don't get a lot of time to do any of that.
- Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies: DH and I have been together for 16 years, and married for 9 years, we have a 3 year old DD, and an old lady black lab. - Anything you’d like us to know 🙂: ---TW prior difficult birth mentioned ---
I had DD at 31 weeks due to a placental abruption. It was super scary, and she spent 30 days in the NICU. She is a great healthy thriving 3 year old now! But I'm terrified of another preemie, and I'm more likely to have one. This pregnancy will be considered high risk.
- How you found out? I watched lines get darker after our single FET, all three betas came back strong, initial ultrasound with our RE Oct 7th. Hoping for a good ultrasound.
- Hobbies, Job, Etc. I run the service desk at an academic library. I enjoy reading, antiquing, gardening, camping, cooking, and am slowly working my way into fiber arts.
- Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies DH and I have been married 10 years and together for 14 years. We've got fraternal twins from our first FET, Chase and Victoria will be two in November. We took in two all black, green eyed half grown kittens Halloween Eve four years ago. They litter trained beautifully but their manners are total street cat.
- Anything you’d like us to know 🙂 I'm done with summer, curse you texas weather.
@ifritos The twins came at 34 weeks due to PIH. They spent 20 days in the Nicu and came home together. I spent fifteen days in the hospital being super closely monitored. I understand the anxiety. Very much hoping this single pregnancy goes to term.

*TW sort of? Pregnancy complications*
DD is our miracle baby, I had an incredibly high risk pregnancy, preterm labor, bed rest, c-section at 35 weeks, and week long NICU stay. She is happy and healthy now with no long term complications. This will also be a high risk pregnancy, but hoping for a smoother go of it and a VBAC.
- EDD (Estimated Due Date)
My EDD is 5/29/20 based on my LMP. I wasn't tracking this time around, so I don't know for sure when I ovulated.
- How you found out
The nausea kind of tipped me off.
- Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies
DH and I have been married for a little over 3 years, together for almost 7. DS is 20 months and he is my heart. We also have a ginger cat and a black lab.
- EDD (Estimated Due Date) June 3
- How you found out 2 lines on a wondfo. I just had this feeling I was going to end up pregnant this month, no idea why. We weren't trying (nor were we preventing), but I've always hoped for an oops this go around because that sounds way easier than TTC and not meeting success, like with my last.
- Hobbies, Job, Etc. Middle school ELA teacher
- Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies - Husband, 2 boys (5 and 3) and a pup!
- Anything you’d like us to know 🙂 This is my 3rd BMB and I'm excited to be back on TB!
We’re building a house right now in Waterford (~30 mins southwest of Milwaukee).
EDD is May 25. It'll be another RCS, so we're looking probably at some time the week before
I officially found out on September 10 but I knew already, the way you know about a good melon.
