    EDD: 5/28

    Team Finding Out/Pink/Blue/Green: Green

Baby is the size of a(n): poppy seed

Upcoming appointments: still haven't made the call. I know the appointments are spaced out right now, but I just remember having to miss so much work to go to the chiropractor and appointments at the end last time I just don't have the energy to do that especially now with a toddler at home.

How are you feeling? fairly good which with PGAL brain makes me worried, but for now I am pregnant.

Raves/Rants: It's homecoming spirit week so I'm wearing PJs at school and my husband is wearing his matching ones too. He chose to wear a fleece robe as he thinks PJ pants fit awkwardly around male body parts so I bet he's dying in this heat.

    Questions:

GTKY: What is your favorite chore to do? Crazy people who like cleaning pick only one.
I love laundry. Mostly because it takes me all week to do it, I used to love it more when I could sit watch TV and fold it, right now I have to fold quickly and put away or the toddler shakes them all out and tries folding them herself. She really loves helping load/unload the washer and dryer so she's a pretty big help.

How are you feeling? Nauseous, and have a range of emotions. This was an unplanned pregnancy, so I'm excited, terrified, nervous, etc.

GTKY: What is your favorite chore to do? Crazy people who like cleaning pick only one.
I really don't have a favorite chore, but if I had to choose, it would be dishes. Although, I'm totally on the same page with @lizzil. Putting my son to sleep each night is the best.

    How are you feeling?
Queasy already. Wondering if it’s the pregnancy or if I caught my kids’ stomach bug.

Raves/Rants: I can’t decide if I should tell my O15 BMB friends about this pregnancy or if I should keep it a secret for a little while. Hmm.

    Questions:

GTKY: What is your favorite chore to do? Crazy people who like cleaning pick only one.
Havelte chores so much. If I had to pick one, I’d pick cleaning the bath tub, though. Something so relaxing about it.

@LuckBeALady I just had to look up hyperemesis. I had no idea it existed. I get nausea too but can't imagine what it is like to be classified as severe.

EDD: May 31st (wasn’t sure which month to join)
    Team: Finding out
    Baby size: poppy seed

I have been feeling very nauseous and have super smell already which makes me more sick. I’ve also had some cramping in my ovaries which makes me so nervous. Is this common does anyone know? It’s my first pregnancy the cramping makes me a little nervous.

I am so so excited to go through all of this with you all :)

    @knottie1cf0656e3cb5474e
Cramping I’m early pregnancy is normal as long as it’s isn’t severe and/or accommodated with bleeding. The follicle that you ovulated from is still producing hormones and working hard so it’s also normal to have some ovary tenderness early on!

Also, I recommend you go to the “Knottie Usernames” thread and follow the instructions because it’s darn near impossible to tag you.

How are you feeling? I feel great! Just the breast tenderness and cramping- so just par for the course stuff.

Raves/Rants: I have superpower smell and my cat had the WORST gas last night. I almost died. 🤢

    Questions: Nope!

Upcoming appointments: 10/4 initial appointment, unfortunately my doctor is retiring 😫 so going to meet my possible new doctor then

How are you feeling? Just tired and some heartburn, same as my first pregnancy.

    Raves/Rants: none yet :)

Questions: Anyone experiencing cramping? I have been getting some intense cramping no spotting or bleeding but still makes me nervous.

EDD: 6/3, but there is no June 2020 board so I hope you don't mind me tagging along :)

Team Finding Out/Pink/Blue/Green: Team finding out...definitely hoping for pink after 2 boys!

Baby is the size of a(n): uh, no idea. Seed?

Upcoming appointments: Not until October 24 which feels forever from now

How are you feeling? In disbelief, mostly. Fell asleep at 7:30 tonight with my 3 year old. I'm hoping that's a fluke because I really don't want to have to go to bed that early every day

Raves/Rants: Excited to be here! Kinda stinks that I'll be termed AMA this go around. It sounds old and I don't feel old.

    Questions:

GTKY: What is your favorite chore to do? Crazy people who like cleaning pick only one. Folding laundry. I despise putting it away, so I usually make the kids do that.

Ladies dealing with cramping...I haven't experienced it yet this pregnancy but I am barely 4 weeks. I distinctly remember minor cramping with my last and attributed it to my ute practicing to grow.

@diagonalley the more the merrier! I had some minor cramping earlier this week. I think it is pretty normal in these early phases.

    Pink/Blue/Green: I cant decide! Haha

baby the size of a: lentil or orange seed

upcoming appointments: 10/3 I’ll have my first ultrasound and blood tests etc.

How are you feeling?: Pretty great! I also had some cramping (seems like a few of us do) which made me nervous but I’ve heard it’s normal at this point.  It’s my first pregnancy so i think my uterus isn’t sure what’s going on haha.  I’m actually a little nervous about how great I feel.  I expected nausea and extreme fatigue, but so far I’m just a little sleepy and get headaches if i don’t drink enough water.

Raves/rants: nothing yet! Excited to join my first “moms” group :)

It's pretty intense.  I've lost 8 pounds in two weeks.  Thankfully I have prescriptions to help and when I get too dehydrated there's an infusion center nearby to get pumped up with fluids.  Last pregnancy I was put on medical leave for six weeks - hoping I can avoid that this time!

Hi ladies! Just a quick question. How many of you are getting six week ultrasounds? My obgyn won’t do one until at least 8 weeks. I am getting so jealous of people getting them at 6 weeks. Is it normal to get one then? This is all so exciting and the wait seems like forever. Also, any prenatal suggestions that have everything we need?
  • Options
@michellej2020 well I'll be 6 weeks Monday I believe and haven't even made an appointment yet. Last time they told me they'd do one at 8 weeks but I started spotting around six so they checked then and because there was no hb told me I was miscarrying. Turned out I was only about 6 weeks based on ovulation instead of the 7+ based on lmp which I tried to tell them. Instead of going through that again I'll just wait.

I'm currently taking the nature made one, but I'll switch over to the ones my midwife prescribes after the bottle is gone. It's just cheaper that way.

@michellej2020 8-10 weeks is the standard (for the most part) in the US. Ladies that are having early u/s are due to specific reasons related to their pregnancy histories (high risk, AMA, previous losses, Fertility treatments etc). So really, no reason to be jealous but feel blessed that you aren’t in that’s camp.

I am getting a 7w ultrasound this time around (so not much sooner than you), but previously I was seen earlier due the above.

Most offices have an intake visit. That is very helpful to get your prenatal questions answered. I think for the most part continue taking your vitamins, eat healthy, stay active, stop drinking/smoking and rest as needed.

@michellej2020 this is my third pregnancy and I've always had my first us around 8 weeks. My doctors use it to date the pregnancy and give a more accurate dd, if needed, compared to using the first day of your last period. Considering I got my first positive at 3 weeks 4 days, I'm pretty sure my dates will be accurate. But October 24 is forever from now 😭

Thanks for your responses. I just can’t wait for my first ultrasound and for them to confirm that I'm pregnant and that things are hopefully fine. This is my first pregnancy and although I’m feeling symptoms I just want to know I’m on the right track. I’m sure all of you ladies feel the same way ❤️❤️❤️.
