I took my kids (3 and 4.5) to a sporting goods store to pick up a gift for MH. When we left, DD noticed a plastic soda bottle stuffed up a drain pipe, which went to the roof of the store. They asked why the bottle was there and I told them it was to keep the roof troll from coming down. I have no idea why I said that and now they are both obsessed with "roof trolls." They ask if the roof troll has a family on the roof and if maybe it will come to our roof. It's only a matter of time before they bring this up in front of someone else. I'm a terrible mother. 😂

I had to google top sheet after the conversations this week. Our bed has a fitted sheet, a flat sheet and the comforter. Lately I am only sleeping with the flat sheet while MH has the flat sheet, the comforter and another blanket on top of that!

@m6agua my idea of a flat sheet and top sheet are the same? But maybe it supposed to be different. I’ll have to google it too!

My FFFC is that I’m still peeing on things because I bought so many damn HCG cheapies and I can’t stop myself.

I don’t want to go to a family wedding in October because I don’t want to be around my ILs. I feel a little guilty for blaming MH’s job for us not being able to go. Sorry, limited leave due to real world events. Thank you Iran and Saudi Arabia.

Fffc... im avoiding calling my doctors. I need to be closely monitored by a team of specialists, and was told to call the day I got a bfp. I just want to hold onto pretending everything is normal and fine. I did double my aspirin like they told me to, at least, lol

I don’t think that’s an fffc. I think you need to call if your doctors told you to.

@Linsbins I will Monday. I started to yesterday, but I just kinda freaked out- didn’t feel ready. I caught it super early, so tomorrow is actually when my period is due. It’s more “call so we can schedule monthly testing.” Than “we need to see you”

@ruby696 I'm sorry, but I agree, it's funny when kids just believe what you tell them. I have an all black cat. For some reason my 4 year old nephew was talking about jaguars. I told him I had a baby jaguar as a pet at home and showed him a picture of me holding my cat on my phone. I still can't convince him it's just a regular house cat like he has at his house. He just says "no, my cat's not a jaguar."

My sister is 10 years younger than my brother and I. When we were teenagers we did NOT want to hang out with her, she was just a little kid. We convinced her a ghost lived in our basement (the basement was our cool teen hang out with things like a couch and nintendo). We probably told her it was the ghost of our dead brother. Our plan backfired because instead of just being afraid to go in the basement, she was afraid to go down there alone so she only went down if we were there hanging out and insisted we accompany her if she had to get something from the basement any other time.
