1. I live in Maine and have for about two years

2. Grew up outside NYC and then lived in the city for 15 years before moving

3. I'd love to live in Los Angeles. I took a month-long trip there three years ago because I'd never been and always daydreamed about it and I do think I'd like it there...but I wonder if it would just be a different version of living in NYC where we felt like the city was too expensive for us to really enjoy. But I love the desert and would love to be near it!

2. I’m from the Chicago suburbs- my whole family is there.
3. I would love to move out west, like to Colorado or Montana. It’s such a beautiful part of the country and we’d be so much more active with all the beautiful things to see!

@b_1029 most of my family is in the Chicago suburbs too! Who knows, maybe we've crossed paths before

1. I live in Wisconsin 🧀

2. Also from the Chicago burbs, we lived in Naperville until I was about 6, then spent about 7 years living in Mesa, AZ. Moved up to WI in 8th grade and have been here ever since.

3. DH and I dream about living in Iceland (our honeymoon definitely left an impression on us). I'd also be cool with Canada, Alaska, other scandanavian countries I've never been too, maybe Washington or Colorado (we like trees and DH loves cool, misty weather).

3. What's a place that you'd like to live someday or daydream about living? Orlando, because I'm a massive WDW fan and would love to be able to go whenever I feel like it!

I live in NY (not the city. Several hours from the city actually).

2. Where are you from?
I also grew up in NY, but an hour from where I currently live.

3.What's a place that you'd like to live someday or daydream about living?
I think I'd want to go further north, either to Maine or possibly to Canada. I love the cold and snow and so much about Canada. And I hate being hot.

2. Where are you from? Born and raised in Toronto, or as the locals call it, "Toranno" (soft second 'T')

3. What's a place that you'd like to live someday or daydream about living? I think I'd be a happy snowbird in Arizona or Hawaii. Or maybe Japan. But the thought of being that far away from family gives me anxiety. As much as I complain about the hot summers and cold winters, this is home. (@inthewoods23 @gingermama29 definitely come visit me in Canada sometime!)

I've been considering moving to MA or NH mainly for work, my company HQ is up there so I've been a few times and it's nice up there.

2. Where are you from? Down the street from where I live now

3. What's a place that you'd like to live someday or daydream about living? Oh goodness. I dunno! I'm such a homebody and really love where we are at. There are a few really cute locations nearby that are considered "down town" and we talk about retiring in a place like that. Newhope would be a dream to retire in - along the river - the views are stunning!

I don't foresee us ever leaving the area, but I love the mountains, so maybe Western MD or something like that in retirement.

3. What's a place that you'd like to live someday or daydream about living? I love South Carolina. DH and I were thinking of moving there if things didn't work out with my job... but I love my job so maybe in retirement?

2. Where are you from? Western KY.

3. What's a place that you'd like to live someday or daydream about living? Honestly, we would probably live in KY...no matter where we go, we are always excited to get back home! Plus all of our family lives here! I love that we get to experience all seasons here too!

@tyrion_ my parents still live in the house I grew up in too! I'm there quite often haha MH's parents still live in the house he grew up in too - which is ALSO right down the street from our house, in the opposite direction of my parents. So we live right in between them both!

3. What's a place that you'd like to live someday or daydream about living? Honestly anywhere with more seasons, that isn’t ruled over by racists and republicans. I’d love to live somewhere where I don’t have to commute 30-40 minutes just to go to target, but still somewhere small and rural enough that my husband could hunt and we could enjoy the outdoors. We will most likely end up staying in Arkansas though, because all of our family and jobs are here. But I can dream, right?

1. Where do you live? Hawai’i—Yes, it is paradise and Yes it is expensive as h***

2. Where are you from? Hawai’i—left for college & only recently returned.

3. What's a place that you'd like to live someday or daydream about living?As an adult, I’ve lived in every major city in the U.S. & nowhere is better than home. BUT I’m addicted to House Hunters International & would love to live in Italy or some other beautiful European country with less focus on work, more focus on relaxation, and “free” healthcare.

@photographerwife Growing up, my next-door-neighbor was from Arkansas & Missouri. She left for the same reasons you listed. You’d love Hawai’i—lots of rural towns, hunting, fishing, etc., and Target is never more than 20 minutes away lol. We always say that the mainland is just a plane ride away. People here travel A LOT to escape Island Fever.

1. I live in South Carolina! (Never thought I’d move here but life is funny that way.)

2. Born & raised in central New Jersey, close to the shore.

3. I’m dying to get back to the PNW. Oregon is my love and felt like my first real “home”. But I would live in WA too. I miss it so much but moved down here for H and his job. I want to go back out west or even Colorado or Montana are beautiful too. If I stayed on the east coast I would probably go up to Maine, NH, or Vermont. I would love to live abroad as well. Anywhere really! I could not live in one place my whole life. I don’t know how people buy houses in the same town they grew up in without ever living anywhere else but that’s just me lol!

1) I live in Langley BC. It’s just outside Vancouver Canada. I’m on the Westcoast.

2) I’m originally from an extremely small town called Sparwood in British Columbia, Canada 🇨🇦 It’s like 10 hours from where I live now.

3) I would love to live somewhere or anywhere hot and tropical lol. That would be my dream. Turquoise waters and white sandy beaches. 🏝🏝 I love the Caribbean so maybe somewhere there or.. somewhere super close to Disneyland so I can go every weekend haha.

@keikilove I’m soooo jealous you live in Hawaii. Omg I would LOVE to live there. I’ve been there a few times and loved it.

2. North Dakota (I live in the same community I grew up in, but about 25 minutes outside of town now)
3. This is tough because we talk about moving to a "big city" but it would be so hard leaving all of our family. The most realistic places we've talked about are Minneapolis, Denver, or somewhere in Florida. (FL is because H lived there for a few years and fell in love).

@mvt2003 @tyrion_ LMAO. Also, I creepily love-titted everyone who said they want to move to NH, but maybe you should not click on this picture. This was in Feb 2015. Our snow banks went up to the eaves of our garage. MH and our old pup (RIP) for scale. MH is 6' tall and his feet aren't at the bottom of the snow bank. Those are the power wires that run from our garage to the top of our house.

ETA But look at the pretty (frozen, in this case) lake view we have in the background! The summer and fall make the winter worth it.

When I hear about the snow you gals get in the NE I'm like shit, WI ain't that bad I should be thankful!

I think last winter we had quite a few really good snow storms but our temps weren't too bad so it would all be melted in a day! Never did we have to be extra careful from iced over roads for more than half a day.

@inthewoods23 That sounds so nice! Our snow accumulates from when it first falls (sometimes as early as November) until it finally starts to warm up enough to start melting some in April. That's been a huge difference I've noticed moving from southern MA to mid-NH.

That snow doesn’t seem all thaaaaaaat bad. Kidding of course. This all makes me want to be a snowbird for sure.

@shamrocandroll oh no...February 2015, AKA the Month Nobody Went to Work, was horrific. I still don't know how we made it through without our roof collapsing or our gutters falling off under the weight of all that snow.

@shamrocandroll @emeraldduchess oh god 2015 almost broke me! That winter was snowmageddon! I remember MH and I got the last roof rake at the store and we were trying to clear our roof as best we could. And all the ice dam damage people got! (Side note, that was my old house and I’m 98% sure that winter is why my current house went on the market, pics from the pre-flip listing look like there was ice dam damage!)

@emeraldduchess @shamrocandroll I went back to look at my Winter 2015 pictures and I totally forgot, we actually lost our shed that winter! It collapsed under the weight of the snow! And that was also the winter everyone was digging out sections of their backyards and putting their fire pits in them, remember that?!
