Re: UO Thursday 9/19

• @bows22 switch 3 and 4 and change to diet and that’s spot on! I’ll fight to the death that McDonald’s coke is superior.
• Loading the player...
• To add to my opinion, Pepsi is gross. If I order a Diet Coke and the server asks if Diet Pepsi is okay, I get an iced tea instead

@b_1029 are letter boards those black background/thin white letters where people put catchy sayings like “it’s fall y’all” ?
• @b_1029 You know my opinion about letter boards! :D

@bows22 I remember reading an article about why McDonald's Coke is superior, but it's an actual thing! They store it differently, and keep it colder or something. Will have to research!

• @kiki047 I like chocolate, but why does everything have to be so damn RICH. I used to like chocolate cake but now I typically prefer vanilla or yellow cake because chocolate cake + chocolate frosting is way too much.

@tyrion_ *Google search* ugh God, yeah no, totally not my style. I'm working towards being more minimalist and that gives me a headache just thinking about those patterns!

• I love the idea of bullet journaling, but the set up seems like it would take more time than the amount of time you actually spend filling the days/weeks/months/pages in. I'd probably only use it to track things like mood. I'm not going to create my own pages of a planner when I could go out and get one pre-lined and everything

• @mvt2003 the times I've used planners I've also gone back and forth between the notebook sized ones and the smaller, like 5 x 7, sized planners. Either I'm complaining it's too big and more than I need or I'm complaining that there's not enough room to write everything I need to for each day 😆

I'll just stick with my phone to help plan my life

• I think it's weird how obsessed humans are with having perfectly mowed lawns.
• I thought letter boards were cute until everyone started using them now it's just boring.

Mexican coke is my favorite, I love how it doesn't get flat as fast as the other kinds. McDs Is definitely the best fountain coke but the one by me had some that tasted off every time I went so I need it to be redeemed for me to agree its the best again. I think they have a higher syrup to soda water ratio that's my guess. Also olive garden coke is the bomb too. I can go through so many of those its definitely not healthy lol.

chocolate is amazing, I actually prefer milk over dark.

I want a planner but I feel like I would only use it for a week and the erin condren ones are expensive.

Summer is okay up north but brutal in the south so fall is still my fav season :)
• @NamelessAria totally agree! I've basically stopped wearing eyeshadow because it's just too much. Also I'm lazy 😂

And speak of the devil @NYTino24 I drove past the farm and the pumpkins are laid out already 😆

@konoha what up north summers are you talking about?? We get awful humidity AND 80-90 degree weather here in Wisconsin.

• I realized I have to use a little shadow just to set my eye circle corrector... So it doesn't turn into creases by lunchtime. 🤦 Otherwise I would totally skip it!🤷
• @b_1029 on my Facebook feed today were not one but TWO “sponsored” posts with a letter board as the post’s photo. The first was something about IF and the other was about pregnancy loss. (“What not to say” kind of things). Get out of my bump app, Facebook!
• @NYTino24 guilty as charged. I’m getting pumpkins this weekend! To be fair we have some trees already changing! @konoha my husbands in that club and to me that means I don’t have to mow the lawn which is a win in my book.
• @inthewoods23 oh yikes!! lol I grew up in NJ and although it did get pretty hot I think most summers were manageable. It feels so much hotter and humid here in SC, but i'm more used to it now than I was when I first moved here. I think what I meant initially was that I enjoyed summers more when I lived in NJ, had a pool and the beach/boardwalk was 15 min away...oh and I had friends/family to hangout with lol I never do anything fun in the summer anymore which is probably why I hate it.

@chaos-and-coffee haha i'm glad he does it!! my H will do it too but he hates it and kind of puts it off. I just think its funny that it's become such a normal thing to do very frequently. but if that's what makes people happy then i'm all for it.
• @konoha yeah pools are not common here because our winters are also quite brutal (why do I live here??? 😆). Good luck doing yard work in the summer here. I will agree though that the south is very humid! Went to Florida for a wedding years ago and at 9pm it was humid as hell! Yuck,

• @inthewoods23 that's so interesting! Yeah I've heard winters up there are intense!! the humidity is no fun and it is definitely way worse in florida though! the first time I came to visit H here is SC I brought fall clothes (it was oct) and I sweat the whole time, and my face broke out so bad. thankfully it's much better now.

@tyrion_ I love when my florida friends post about how cold it is if it falls below 70! :D
• @BusinessWife yes I agree with you!!! We keep our house between 70 and 72 which is new for me because in our old house H would keep it at like 68. I remember my dad always freaking out about us touching the thermostat too. Now that I pay an energy bill I understand why but I still think its funny that its usually a thing dads freak out about. I used to argue that I wanted to wear a tshirt and he would yell at me to put a sweatshirt on. now i'm always in one and under a blanket :D
• @tyrion_ my brother lives in AZ and he says people are wearing winter coats when it happens to get below 60 lol. Mid 50s and lots of sunshine feels fantastic to me!

• Oooh in keeping with the weather talk, my UO is that I love winter and snow! Sign me up for cold and 3 feet of snow!
• I only bought pumpkins because they were on sale for $1.99 each at the grocery store. They had just put them out so there were so many pretty ones lol... they are small/medium in size but currently sitting in my foyer area bc DH and I can't bring ourselves to put them outside yet until later next week/October! :D

And I basically don't wear makeup unless I'm doing something on the weekend or seeing clients lol.. And then it's just some like foundation and mascara. ;)

My UO is that I hate cold pizza. Has to be warmed up in the toaster... no way in the microwave :s

@konoha Totally a jersey thing! My cousin from out of state is staying with us for a few days and arriving today... I'm picking up pizza from his favorite local place on my way home from work. All he wants to eat when he is in NJ is pizza and bagels :D

edit spelling

• @ziggymama06 hahaha yessss! that's awesome. even in jersey I'm specific about where I get my pizza, and of course my favorite places are not close to my mom's house at all. and the bagels?? love. I never eat bagels anymore because obv there are no bagel places anywhere which is very sad.
• @konoha The best pizza place is about 20 mins from my house and they don't deliver bc they don'y need to, which is annoying... and it's the opposite way of my job so we rarely eat there. But I'll make the trip tnt for my cousin. Aww I'm sorry you are missing bagels... next trip up you should bring a dozen back with you and freeze them! They actually hold up pretty well.. just thaw in the microwave 30 secs and pop in the toaster/oven. I'll have a taylor ham, egg, and cheese for you this wknd :*

• @ziggymama06 oh wow! I've never heard of a pizza place that doesn't deliver. it must be really amazing then! enjoy it tonight:)
& that's a good idea! I visited in april but got sick half way through my trip so didn't really have the chance to get a bagel as I felt awful. but next time I go I definitely will.
& i'm honored! you're in north jersey right? I can tell by the taylor ham :D we would call it pork roll haha!
• @konoha Aww I'm sorry you weren't feeling well your last trip so you couldn't enjoy your favorite local foods! Hahahaha yup I'm in north jersey... not far outside of NYC and see the skyline from up the street of my house. Us jersey peeps certainly have our own way of dividing the state... I won't hold it against you that you refer to it as pork roll ;) One of the longest standing debates!! hahahaha
