FTM and so far I haven’t felt pregnant, which has made me very anxious for my first prenatal appointment (this Monday). I’ve had some mild bloating, constipation, indigestion, and some major fatigue— yet I have been in disbelief that I’m actually pregnant. Can’t say that anymore! I’m 8 weeks today, this morning I looked down and notice that I already have a belly! I’m a plus sized mom but my stomach has never been this big. My husband agreed that I now look pregnant. I know this is bloat and my body adjusting to my growing uterus but I finally have a visual that I’m pregnant.
I can only imagine how big I’ll look once the baby really starts growing.
This was at work the other day. I was never very big with DS so I feel huge already!comparitively, here's me at 25 weeks with DS! I seriously am wondering if it's twins!

@mflowers929 That was my first thought! Twins run in my family, specifically my mother’s side. I also read that being overweight, tall, and Black increase the likelihood of twins. I’ll have to wait until Monday to see if the belly is the result of bloat or twins 😬
Here's my blump. I do think part of it is a belly though because I can't suck it in and my doctor said because I'm tiny I will start to show sooner. 9w3d.
10 weeks today. My blump is looking more like a bump and is much bigger in the evening when I took this pic. It’s getting harder to suck in, but I feel like I have to all day at work, so people who don’t know I’m pregnant don’t see that bump!
10 weeks 6 days today. Definitely a lot of bloating from trying to catch up on water and whatnot, but still pretty fun to take some belly pics today. I hope everything is going well inside.
The last time I posted, I was really only 6 weeks and a couple days. Now I’m 8 weeks, 4 days and I feel like I’ve already mastered the black, flowy tops, and jacket to cover my bloated bump. Since I’m at a new job, perhaps people think I’m just gaining weight and I’m not pregnant 🤷🏾♀️ Any recommendations for taming the bloat?
No good advice on hiding the bloat as everyone can now tell I’m pregnant. Just FYI, we post a new bump thread every Wednesday called HDBD (Hump Day Bump Day), so you can all participate there too.
