I've had my UO for the week literally written on a sticky note at my desk since Monday! Share those unpopular opinions ladies!

I don't think anyone here does this, if so I'm sorry! But, I dislike when people write out the word "anywho". If you say it, that's fine, it just rankles me to see a colloquialism like that written out, ESPECIALLY if extra "o"s are added like "anywhoo"

@saladflambe I’m with you. Mh’s family brings up how I don’t like bacon ALL the time. It took mh a while to understand that I didn’t like it. He made me a birthday picnic with potato salad that had bacon and was shocked that I didn’t like bacon in things either. Then he tried to use bacon grease to cook stuff in. 🙄 I think he finally has accepted that I just don’t like bacon.

My UO is I think Nutella is disgusting.

+1 for bacon not being great.

I get irrationally irked by "Baby on Board" stickers. Oh yes, I was totally going to ram your car but now I'm thinking better of it because there's a baby in there!

And that reminds me, nuts in cookies, brownies, or banana bread TOTALLY ruin them. I like my baked goods with no nuts please.

@jennifer_louise omg yes! I hate those. I feel like it also says that the life of a baby is vastly more important than the life of literally anyone else. Like anyone else in the car would be OK to kill in a wreck but not a baby. Elderly person? Totally fine. Middle aged person? No big deal. Child that isn't a baby anymore? Sure that's OK! Baby? WTF NO. And I don't see the value of human life that way. Like I don't see babies as vastly more valuable than literally any other person. Plus like you said no one is out there driving like a maniac and then sees "baby on board" and checks their driving. So it almost then just feels like someone flaunting that they have a baby.

I feel like I'm just going to agree with most of the UOs today.

@jennifer_louise I hate those Baby on Board signs too. Especially because it's not like they take it down after they've dropped the kid off at daycare and are now driving like a lunatic through traffic because they're late for their appt at the salon or something. I also hate those stick figure window decals. When I see them I always want to pick off a random arm or leg or something

@mvt2003 what if I spell it "anyhoo"? lololol not gonna lie, I do use it on occasion, but when I'm just talking to my friends I tend to type how I speak, grammatically correct or not.
@saladflambe I also don't love bacon that much. In a BLT, yes, if it's so crispy it's crunchy. Limp bacon? GTF away from me.
@mindyb2019 I hate the texture of nutella, same with peanut butter. Also it's too sickly sweet. If it's melted it isn't as bad (like on a crepe) but the minute it goes tacky again, bleh.
@inthewoods23 ditto about nuts in things. Ruins a perfectly good banana bread or ice cream. Pecans are one of the only things I will tolerate because they're soft-ish.

Took too long writing that all out, forget my UO. I'll be back lol.

My UO is I don't find Bradley Cooper attractive.

@saladflambe - I'm not a huge bacon person either! People get very offended by this.

My UO is that I don't like Babe as a term of endearment...it reminds me of that scene from The Office where Michael and Jan are passive-aggressively calling each other Babe nonstop. I don't mind when SO calls me Babe sometimes but I can't bring myself to call him that!

@whitealbum29 That's too funny because that's literally what MH and I call each other! We don't actually call each other by our first names, he says it's "weird" if I call him by his first name. 9 years in, and we exclusively call each other either babe or other funny things.

(He would KILL me if I ever disclosed some of my pet names for him

I’m not a fan of baby on board stickers, or any bumper stickers really, but I get a kick out of the “baby up in this bitch” ones.

I also type out “anyhoo” a lot, lol

@mvt2003 same, we exclusively use gross pet names haha. Fully aware of how obnoxious it is but to be fair, our names are homonyms so if we were to call each other by our actual names we're essentially saying our own names, which is weird.

@mvt2003 Haha yeah, I think it's common for a lot of couples! A lot of my friends use Babe. I use hon or honey sometimes but mostly we also use a lot of truly absurd pet names for each other. And yeah if he calls me by my first name it kind of startles me! Like "whoa am I in trouble?"

@whitealbum29 YES! He said my name in passing last night and it literally startled me! (He was telling me that at Petco while I was checking out, our dog met another dog and the other couple said "good girl Rosie" which is our dog's name and he was like wait that doesn't sound like MVT's voice

Ugh, Nutella is gross. I don’t like hazelnut. Yuck.
My UO: it drives me crazy when people capitalize every first letter in a sentence. Just, what. It’s ok if you do it with periods like “Get. Out.” To show emphasis, but I had to hide my friends Who Just Randomly Capitalize Everything. It’s weird, and so much work to be wrong.
