    @ruby696 @jrouge12 @mamaqdubu OB called for follow-up, and I do have a small SCH.  She said many women with it go on to have perfectly normal pregnancies, but it does increase the risk of MC.  Soooo resume anxiety again, ugh.  Trying to remain hopeful since it's small.  I'll go back again in 2 weeks.

    @shamrocandroll So much  <3<3  <3 your way. I know I've read about SCHs clearing and going on to healthy pregnancies. FX that in two weeks every thing is looking good!

    @shamrocandroll you heard the heartbeat! That’s a big milestone. I had a rather large SCH with DS1 and other than passing a little of it around 11 weeks, it resolved on its own. I totally get the anxiety but I just wanted to give you a positive story.
  • Options
    @shamrocandroll ugh I’m sorry to hear that. The waiting is the worst. Fingers crossed it clears or does not create any issues!!

    @shamrocandroll I had a SCH with my DD and everything turned out fine with her pregnancy. Other than some extra ultrasounds and monitoring things were completely normal and it shrunk over time. Just wanted to give you a little hope as well!
  • Options
    @shamrocandroll FX the SCH is gone in two weeks. I'm glad you know now, so if you start spotting you know what's going on.❤

    @shamrocandroll Yay for a healthy baby! Sorry about the SCH, like others have said they can be completely normal and nbd. I hope it shrinks up quickly!

    So follow up question: for it to go away, do I have to bleed? I'm just nervous now about bleeding while on my trip and not knowing until I get back home if it was a big concern or not.

    Not always, sometimes it is just re-absorbed.

    @shamrocandroll no. They told me they usually “reabsorb” but to be cautious if there was spotting. At the time, we were in a weird healthcare situation... I was traveling with MH for his job for most of the first trimester and we had no maternity care again until 14 weeks. Mine was mostly reabsorbed.

    @shamrocandroll yay for seeing the baby and hearing the heartbeat. I am sorry though about the SCH and the new anxiety that comes along with that.
  • Options
    @shamrocandroll mine was mostly reabsorbed like other people also said.
  • Options
    @ieles2531 I can definitely see how that would be panic-inducing for a second!
  • Options
    Oh my! Exciting and equally terrifying.

    @bender29 omg! Congratulations!!

    @bender29 wow! Are they in the same sac? Or is it just the US angle?

    @mokay19 ummmm?? 🤷‍♀️

    I have no idea! I also have no idea how to read an ultrasound
  • Options
    @bender29 well I saw you said that they’re identical so it’s possible!
