Ultrasound at approx. 4 1/2 weeks. The round black circle towards the left is the gestation sac. Too early to see anything else. I go for another ultrasound in a few days (about 6 weeks) to make sure everything is ok due to previous miscarriage.
Our most recent ultrasound from Sept. 5th! No EDD yet or fetal pole but doc said it's just cause I'm really early. Praying for good news at our next appointment on the 16th!
You guys! My lil bean! Measuring 6+1 and heartbeat 115! I'm waiting for my OB to call with the official follow-up, but knowing there's a heartbeat has me giving a huge sigh of relief! Especially after the ultrasound tech couldn't figure out how to work the new machine. I snuck this picture of the screen while she was out of the room to find someone to help her figure out how to print a photo.🤦♀️ It's not the best image she got, but we saw the little heart flickering!
ETA The OB called for follow-up, and I do have a small SCH. She said many women with it go on to have perfectly normal pregnancies, but it does increase the risk of MC. Soooo resume anxiety again, ugh. Trying to remain hopeful since it's small. I'll go back again in 2 weeks.

@shamrocandroll So much your way. I know I've read about SCHs clearing and going on to healthy pregnancies. FX that in two weeks every thing is looking good!
@shamrocandroll you heard the heartbeat! That’s a big milestone. I had a rather large SCH with DS1 and other than passing a little of it around 11 weeks, it resolved on its own. I totally get the anxiety but I just wanted to give you a positive story.
@shamrocandroll I had a SCH with my DD and everything turned out fine with her pregnancy. Other than some extra ultrasounds and monitoring things were completely normal and it shrunk over time. Just wanted to give you a little hope as well!
@shamrocandroll Yay for a healthy baby! Sorry about the SCH, like others have said they can be completely normal and nbd. I hope it shrinks up quickly!
So follow up question: for it to go away, do I have to bleed? I'm just nervous now about bleeding while on my trip and not knowing until I get back home if it was a big concern or not.

@shamrocandroll no. They told me they usually “reabsorb” but to be cautious if there was spotting. At the time, we were in a weird healthcare situation... I was traveling with MH for his job for most of the first trimester and we had no maternity care again until 14 weeks. Mine was mostly reabsorbed.
Got to see baby's heart beating today!! So crazy! Didnt get a heart rate but it was strong and healthy ❤ what a huge sigh of relief. Showing 6w3d with an EDD of may 7th! Wishing the same strong hearts for all you mamas!
Had my first ultrasound sound at 6 weeks + 1 day and was able to detect a heartbeat 💗 Here’s my little nugget! The tail is the yolk sac. The ultrasound technician said it looks like a strong baby, which makes me so, so happy ☺️
Measured 6+1, which is perfect. Little bean is in a good location. We have a heartbeat!!! I have been holding my breath waiting for this moment. There was also some extra mystery “fluid” on ultrasound, not in this picture, maybe blood, maybe another gestational sac, don’t know, just watching it for now, doctor was not concerned.

Not gonna lie, almost sh*t my pants when I saw this! Just one embryo with yolk sac though.
Edited because the picture didn’t attach the first time
I have no idea! I also have no idea how to read an ultrasound
