My garage door is a TW. I came home after almost 12 hours and it was wide open. I know I hit the button a second time and watched it go mostly down before pulling it out of the driveway after it reopened the first time. I ran inside yelling, “Hello?!” as if a burglar would actually answer. We are so lucky we didn’t get robbed or have a wild animal inside considering we are about 2 minutes from Route 80 and two other highways. It’s a safe neighborhood, and it’s busy (for better or worse)... but there were a few car robberies recently and our whole house could have been emptied. Plus we have a shady guy across the street (who we call Kid Rock because of his looks and the fact that he loves to drink and do drugs) but he likes us and I’m glad he didn’t wander in or anything. I am pushing DH to install and pay for the monthly Ring camera app now since we have the camera.

@NYTino24 we love our Ring! We have the doorbell and the backyard camera and it’s just such peace of mind, even though MH has it set to notify us every time a car goes down the street 🙄

I’m so happy your house was fine!!! I would be so freaked out!!!

It’s now Wednesday, but WTF to having school nightmares through the night and then having to wake up and go to school? I feel like I never left or slept yesterday.

@NYTino24 sorry you had school nightmares and felt like you didn’t get much sleep. Those nights are the worst. Also, I feel your pain on the garage door. Mine is a TW too. I been having problems with mine too. It does the same thing as yours and I’ve come home and the garage is wide open or even worse I come home from work etc and i hit the button about 12 times and it doesn’t open what so ever. So I’m sitting outside my house and have to run all the way in through the front door and downstairs and hit the garage door open myself and then it finally decides to work after the fact 😩. Mines a POS. It works fine one day and not others.

@NYTino24 OMG!! Totally scary! I actually live a few mins from route 80 in NJ... hey neighbor! I'm glad that no one wandered into your home!! I recently purchased a Simpli Safe alarm and love it! They sent me a camera too that we pitch towards our front door. My garage is detached and in the back of my house, so I'd only have to worry about someone stealing the lawnmower, Ha! Sorry your having nightmares about school... I hate that when you dream something so real then wake up and need to do it all over again in real life.

@ziggymama06 Heyyy! That reminds me... I bought knobs with locks for the doors into the basement. Gotta get DH to install them on his day off tomorrow!
