As the second trimester approaches maybe we can finally think less about keeping the nausea at bay and more about eating healthfully. Or maybe you found a deliciously indulgent craving-buster. Share what you’re eating/cooking throughout the month to inspire others.

Please share crock pot recipes. I have one and love the convenience but have very few tried and true recipes. Thanks!

I also made my son one with quinoa, frozen green beans, red and yellow peppers, and chicken and he loved it. DH said it was a little bland though (he just added bbq sauce to it).
The funny thing is I’m a vegetarian ha. I have never made myself a crockpot meal. My husband eats an insane amount of food so I usually cook for him and just eat frozen meals for myself. I have a bunch of veggie crockpot meals pinned but I have never made one. I really should try it. And then I can let you know if any good.

@mauvelousone I am hesitant to use the Instant Pot. I had one for a while but a couple of people have had small pressure explosions when they've used them and my anxiety gets riled by that sort of risk, lol! Otherwise, I concur that a pressure cooker is amazing when you don't have the time to slow cook something. Yummy!
Here is my favorite crockpot chicken recipe! https://laurenslatest.com/healthy-crockpot-enchilada-casserole/
This is the beef stew I’m making tonight https://www.gonnawantseconds.com/crockpot-beef-stew/
this is is my favorite chili recipe. Not actually for a slow cooker but I just throw all the ingredients in the crockpot and cook it for like 8hrs on low and it comes out great. Sometimes I add ground beef other times I leave it as a veggie chili!

1/2 cup butter
1 c sugar
2 eggs
3/4 c pumpkin
1 3/4 c flour
1t baking soda
1t cinnamon
1/2t salt
1/2t nutmeg
1/4t ginger
as many chocolate chips as you see fit!
Bake at 350* for 60 mins in a loaf pan or like 20 in a muffin tin. Obviously check because I’m horrible with times and just kinda go by feel. #bakerproblems
Thank you so much. All of that looks delicious!
I air fried some salmon tonight and it was delicious. The crispy coating from the air fryer helped with my texture sensitivity. And it only took ten mins!
@mauvelousone I can't wait to be back into curries again--one of my faves. But I can't do anything remotely spicy these days (even things I could never have con"miss.sally" cy in the past) anyway. This is supposed to be a food love thread lol so i won't complain anymore. but i'm gonna pin the curry recipes you shared for my future--thanks!
I plan to make some pumpkin chocolate chip muffins for a co-worker's birthday Friday... and because I want them.

I've been SO effing lucky that the boys--DH & our roommate-- have been doing a bulk of the cooking recently & often adjusting recipes and such so that they aren't too spicy/salty for me. So freaking lucky. But it felt good to get back in the kitchen.

i just got back to cooking this week and last and it feels so good! My friend sent me a hello fresh food box to try for free, so last week DH and I had 4 meals from them and it was very exciting and inspired some new recipes and techniques for us! Since it’s not the cheapest I’m going to wait for LO to arrive and grab a discount for the other food boxes and try those then.
The weather is cooling so I’m feeling some whole 30 soups I used to make that I LOVE!
