How are you feeling?: Better than first tri. Tired a lot but used to it.
Rants/Raves: Still loving my Isabella Oliver maternity dresses for work. Still hating people who lack public transport etiquette.

GTKY: What “pregnancy rules” have you already broken? I’ve eaten raw cookie dough and brownie batter. And I’m definitely disobeying my doc’s random rule that I not lift more than 20 lbs. because it is not based in any science or medical reasoning and I’m a completely healthy super active human.

Upcoming appts: Anatomy scan and 20-week appt on 9/24. It will be nice to confirm if this actually is a boy since I contaminated my at-home blood test.
How are you feeling?: Pretty great aside from the sciatica
Rants/Raves: Rant- yesterday was my birthday and it was pretty lackluster.
Rave- I just love that I can feel this little nugget kicking around in there!
GTKY: Deli meat, a few sips of alcohol, lifting more than I’m “supposed to” (DS is like 35 pounds). I’ve seen fairly healthy babies come out of drug-dependent moms who have received zero prenatal care, and not once have I gotten listeria from deli meat. 🤷🏼♀️

How are you feeling?: Like a zombie. I'm still taking Unisom and if I don't I am so very sick. I need to ask my doctor if I should stop the Unisom or what!

GTKY: What “pregnancy rules” have you already broken? I've definitely broke the lifting rule. I've had a few sips of adult beverages and have had deli meat.

How are you feeling?: Normal, but round. Everyone can tell I'm pregnant and I'm being asked when I'm due several times a week now, just got asked this morning.
Rants/Raves: Gout foot is clearing up sans meds, but I'm way too active to have to sit around anymore! I stayed off it for 5 days and now I need up! Also rant- I called my birth center and apparently I'm the only pregnant woman with gout they've ever come across so the midwives were not remotely knowledgable. I spoke to a doctor (okay the doctor spoke and I rolled my eyes) and he offered me C class drugs and bad nutrition advice. I'll have an extra blood draw and urine analysis when I go in next, but no one is worried apparently.
Questions: Has anyone done belly henna before? I'm wondering how long it lasts and how you decide when to get it so you have a henna belly during labor.
GTKY: What “pregnancy rules” have you already broken? I lift as much weight as I want, and plan to continue crossfitting until I go into labor. I also drank coffee and ate cold deli meat, raw sushi, and soft cheeses without worrying, although now that gout is back no more of those for me- sigh.

How are you feeling?: Ugh, sick. DS brought home some cold from daycare, he got an ear infection and he gave this grossness to me. Of course I cant take any meds. I feel awful

GTKY: What “pregnancy rules” have you already broken? All of them that arent based on scientific facts. I sleep on my back and both sides. I eat deli meats. I have had a glass of wine here or there. I eat soft cheeses, rare steaks, swordfish and tuna. Yup.

How are you feeling?: pretty normal, a little lower back/tailbone/sciatica pain.
Rants/Raves: I pulled out my body pillow (snoogle? I think?) this weekend, and I forgot how awesome it is, I am sleeping so much better!! And also glad the Dr said Unisom is fine, which I knew, but I like confirmation
Questions: anyone else excited for fall weather?? I'm starting to run hot

How are you feeling?: My belly is sore down towards where my muffin top comes over haha. I don't feel like its RLP (which I do feel sometimes). It's not a cramp, just sore. My toothbrush made me gag again today
Rants/Raves: I feel like I have 3 things I can wear. I want to wear my regular jeans! Waah! Has anyone found maternity jeans they love for the short girls? I have a pair from Motherhood Maternity but they don't breathe and are so hot!

Questions:
GTKY: What “pregnancy rules” have you already broken? I’m definitely not as crazy the third time around. There are many days I’m having more caffeine than 200 mg. I’ll sleep on my back if it's the most comfortable or if the 15 month old is draped across me. I’m definitely lifting more weight bc my kids are needy AF. I’m eating soft cheese.

@burr1371 Have you tried the hair tie trick with your jeans? I’ve been doing it without issues! And if you do that with the Belly Band it looks smooth on top. But I’ve done just the hair tie and I’ve had no issues!
