@b_1029 We got the effects here in SC, lots of rain and wind. For me personally just some down branches and our fence is broken. For those closer to the coast there was some bad flooding and they're without power. My work doesn't have power right now so who knows when I will be able to go back. But most of the storm has passed, just some rain and wind left but not nearly as bad as it was overnight!
@konoha. Glad it was not too bad! Omg forced vacation from work sounds like a dream to me tho right now. Lol sorry if that sounds horrible. That was the one gift I remember of some of the horrible winter weather last year, a few days we got to go home early.... And drive home in the storms. 😖. Stay safe!
@b_1029 We are supposed to get the hit up on in Canada tomorrow afternoon. So we are hunkering down. Hopefully will just be some wind and lots of rain. Biggest concern is just losing power I think.
@konoha Glad that you did not get hit too hard. Work having no power isnt the worst thing ever though...right? Hopefully you are all back to normal soon.

@b_1029 and @kpearse99 she actually is dead in the second act. It's why in the song "Take a Break" there's a beat of silence where her name went after Angelica and Eliza greet each other in the song. Haha sorry, I'm totally obsessed with Hamilton! The actress that plays her in the musical plays Maria Reynolds in the second act.
@b_1029 you should look up the soundtrack on genius.com. There's TONS of annotations in every song depicting different references made in the songs, musical themes, and some of the historical events that have been slightly altered. Fair warning that it's a hell of a rabbit hole though 😂.
@gingermama29 wait what??!!! I’m obsessed with the show too and never knew that!!!! I know that she plays Maria in act 2 and I’ve seen the show and listened to the soundtrack a million times!
Excuse me while I go down a Hamilton rabbit hole!!

@mindyb2019 after the heating pad she laid on me for a good hour or more. Either she's a menace with her claws or she's the most adorable thing when she parks herself in my lap 😆
For anyone that likes medical mystery shows, there's a new one called Diagnosis that's based on the column in the New York Times. In the show the writer of the column crowdsources possible medical diagnoses for the subject person of the episode. Sometimes it's parents, teachers, or medical professionals that respond - hundreds of people will respond! Super interesting! Makes me emotional though because a few episodes are children and it really gets you in the feels when these people finally have answers to the problems they've been dealing with for years with no formal diagnosis. I find this stuff so interesting that I'm surprised I didn't go into the medical field instead of engineering.

@saladflambe Bahahaha... I may have chuckled after telling a child to “Show me the D!” this week! (and that’s not the first time I’ve said it...) you’d think I’d have gotten used to a different phrasing by now...
@inthewoods23 I would say, “Thinking of you and wanted to let you know I’m here for you. Let me know if there is anything I can do.”
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*

Haha sorry, I'm totally obsessed with Hamilton! The actress that plays her in the musical plays Maria Reynolds in the second act.
Excuse me while I go down a Hamilton rabbit hole!!

@inthewoods23 i enjoyed your cat laying on the heating pad. That’s too cute. Lol. She looks so content. 😁
