@b_1029 We got the effects here in SC, lots of rain and wind. For me personally just some down branches and our fence is broken. For those closer to the coast there was some bad flooding and they're without power. My work doesn't have power right now so who knows when I will be able to go back. But most of the storm has passed, just some rain and wind left but not nearly as bad as it was overnight!
@konoha. Glad it was not too bad! Omg forced vacation from work sounds like a dream to me tho right now. Lol sorry if that sounds horrible. That was the one gift I remember of some of the horrible winter weather last year, a few days we got to go home early.... And drive home in the storms. 😖. Stay safe!

For anyone that likes medical mystery shows, there's a new one called Diagnosis that's based on the column in the New York Times. In the show the writer of the column crowdsources possible medical diagnoses for the subject person of the episode. Sometimes it's parents, teachers, or medical professionals that respond - hundreds of people will respond! Super interesting! Makes me emotional though because a few episodes are children and it really gets you in the feels when these people finally have answers to the problems they've been dealing with for years with no formal diagnosis. I find this stuff so interesting that I'm surprised I didn't go into the medical field instead of engineering.

For anyone that likes medical mystery shows, there's a new one called Diagnosis that's based on the column in the New York Times. In the show the writer of the column crowdsources possible medical diagnoses for the subject person of the episode. Sometimes it's parents, teachers, or medical professionals that respond - hundreds of people will respond! Super interesting! Makes me emotional though because a few episodes are children and it really gets you in the feels when these people finally have answers to the problems they've been dealing with for years with no formal diagnosis. I find this stuff so interesting that I'm surprised I didn't go into the medical field instead of engineering.
