Trying to Get Pregnant

TWW Friday 9/6

@bows22 so sorry for the BFN. The testing anxiety ruining sleep is the worst. I've been struggling with that too.

    Month/Cycle: 3/2

    CD/DPO: 38/12

    Timing: -5, -4, -2, -1

    Typical LP length: unsure

Testing: maybe Sunday or Monday. FF has AF predicted for Monday

R/R: another BFN this morning. I have my annual checkup scheduled with my midwives this afternoon. I'm also officially aboard the BSC train with SS. I woke up with heartburn just before midnight and had myself convinced that it was the beginning of symptoms. Plus any little twinge to the boobs or tummy. I seriously need to chill tf out.

    Edited for autocorrect

CS/Q: very consistent temps over the last several days.

  • @gingermama29 I’m sorry for your BFN too. I probably should have just tested when I woke up at 2:30 but I wasn’t sure if that was long enough to count as FMU. In hindsight it probably was but my tired brain didn’t know.

@jrouge12 your chart looks great! have fun at your conference. Going anywhere good?
  • @bows22 I am so sorry about the BFN. It sucks how any slight difference in how you feel during the TWW can get your hopes up. :(  Hugs to you.

@jrouge12 that temp rise is so pretty! Hope your conferences is productive.

@gingermama29 so sorry about your BFN, too. I've been trying to stay off the SS train but it's so hard! Every little twinge gets to me, too.
  • @emeraldduchess ugh I’m sorry about the salary news. I’m sure whatever it is, you are justified in being in a bad mood over it. Teachers are so taken for granted. Also, anytime I’ve had a missing package it ended up being accidentally delivered to a neighbor so hopefully rooster guy shows up with it soon!
  • @bows22 LOL! I hope it was just put in the wrong mailbox, but who knows? I have another delivery scheduled for today (I ordered a dress from Old Navy) so hopefully I will at least get that one. :) The salary news I expected, but it still sucks. I am incredibly lucky that DH also has a job and good health insurance (he's a teacher too, but he gets a few grand more than me). If I were single, I could be in big financial trouble.

    Month/Cycle: 1/1

    CD/DPO: CD 27

    Timing: 10, 12, 14, 16, 18

    Typical LP length: idk

    Testing: BFN again today

R/R: Period due this weekend. I have accepted it didn't happen for us this cycle. I'm down some crazy train hole of "I wonder if, if an egg fertilizes but doesn't implant because something is wrong with it or whatnot, you get ridiculously bad PMS...." because, seriously, I've had a load of symptoms - obviously of PMS at this point - and like...why? I never get it like this.

    CS/Q: I'll have a chart next cycle.

  • :(@bows22 I'm sorry for the BFN...

@gingermama29 i'm sorry for your BFN too. I'm with you on the SS & I hate how it fecks with your head.

@jrouge12 I have everything, even my toes, crossed for your hopeful testing tomorrow :)

@emeraldduchess ugh teachers are not paid enough as it is...so I give the big ass middle finger to anything negative to do with your salary. I'm sorry :(

@b_1029 bleh to meetings and stark white tests.

Damn this is just a bleh day all around isn't it...

  • @bows22 so sorry about the BFN! Hopefully work has calmed down!

@gingermama29 so sorry about the BFN!!! I feel you on SS though - in every TWW my google history is like “8 dpo headache” 😂

@jrouge12 good luck at your conference! Hoping AF stays away!!!!

@emeraldduchess ughhh I would be so mad! That’s part of why we got a ring camera, packages get stolen all the time. Hopefully it just got delivered to a neighbor!!! I also think teachers salaries are obscenely low for the amount of work they do!!! It’s maddening!

@b_1029 I totally feel you on not  wanting human interaction. Super same!!!! Please let me sit and cross stitch the entire weekend in peace! ❤️

@saladflambe so sorry AF is on her way!!! ❤️

  • I hope you have a better day @tyrion_ - glad you at least seem to be feeling a little better? Your saturday plans sound so fun.

@mvt2003 I'm sorry you're feeling super out :( good luck on your 5k -- you can do it! Trail runs are the absolute best!

  • @saladflambe Sorry for all the bfns. I think PMS seems worse when you’re ttc, at least for me, because I realize I’m not KU. And that makes me more cranky and upset. But I also try to find new symptoms or wonder if I always felt it this way when I’m grasping at anything to indicate I’m KU. I’ve been taking detailed notes of my symptoms and have found I’m pretty consistent when I compare; it’s just my BSC that lets my mind wonder.
  • @mvt2003 My Floridian legs trembled at that elevation. Good luck! Sorry about impending AF, big hugs to you.
  • I asked this in WTO, but I'll ask it here too...

    Temping Questions ahead:

    1. Do you temp during your period or wait til the bleeding stops to start?

    2. If you wake up a zillion times to pee at night, at what point do you temp? Like, say my typical wake up for the day is 5am, but I wake up at 3am to pee, do I temp at 3 or wait til 5? What if I wake up at 4 to pee? Pee is a problem, folks lol

@b_1029 I’m excited that your trigger is gone! It sucks that you have to have a social weekend when you’re not feeling it, I hate that. I hope you are able to do some relaxing too.

@saladflambe I’m sorry you are feeling out. I hope your killer PMS eases up soon!

@tyrion_ I’m glad your PMS seems to be easing up. Your chart looks amazing haha. I know it doesn’t necessarily mean anything but what a tease.

    Edit clarity
  • @tyrion_ thanks! I’m semi freaking out haha! This will also be my first race without carb fueling/gu. 😳 luckily I’ve always run fasted in the morning so I should be fine, just a little slower than normal.

@saladflambe thanks! It’s my first one so I’m hoping I do ok!

  • Month/Cycle: 3/3

    CD/DPO: 1/0

    Timing:

    Typical LP length: 12-14 days

    Testing: no

R/R: I'm stuck out of town for a work thing and so nothing fun is happening.

I came to post my CD 27/DPO 13 update and ask for strength to not test, ask for input on the nausea I've had, etc., but I got up to pee in the middle of typing this and... AF has come a few days early.  I'm out.

    TGIF.

  • @saladflambe sorry AF is on the way. Also I don’t think you can get symptoms if the egg hasn’t implanted but I’ve definitely had the same thoughts before. It’s so weird how symptoms can vary cycle to cycle and I feel like my PMS has been worse since starting TTC because I’ve been fixating on it. as for your questions- I don’t typically temp on AF by that’s a personal preference- I know others do. I have the same issue as you except I suck at sleeping...it’s not super scientific but I use an online BBT converter for those days I temp way earlier than normal

@tyrion_ I think it’s probably from this cleanse / challenge thing I’m doing with my SIL. Day 3 without coffee or sugar and I’m struggling. Tomorrow sounds so fun, hope you guys have a great time!

@mvt2003 ugh sorry for the spotting. I’m sorry you’re feeling out, but hopefully the spotting is good this time?! Have fun at the movie tonight! Date night with YH? wow, that 5k sounds crazy. AND with no carbs?!!

@whitealbum29 I hope your appointment goes well today! What book are you reading?

    @bows22 same for you!!!
  • @whitealbum29 thank you! GL at the appt! what are you reading?
  • @b_1029 Thanks for the help. I have awful sleep problems too, so yeah, that's problematic. I'll probably do something like...if I wake up at 4am, temp then, but if I wake up at 3 and have 2 hours of sleep left, I'll just wait til the 5am wakeup to temp.

  • @b_1029 @bows22 Thank you! I'm reading a novel called The Golden State by Lydia Kiesling, I started it a while ago and it's great but I was very uncommitted to making time to read for a while! I finally just have like 40ish pages left now.
  • Responding until the bell rings! Plus we have no wifi or cell service at our airbnb! To answer a couple questions, the conference is in NH. It should be a good time.
@gingermama29 Sorry I missed you this morning! So sorry about the BFN too!  <3

Ah bell! I'll try to get back here soon!

     <3 You all!
  • @jrouge12 enjoy your conference! Still FX for you this cycle!

@emeraldduchess sorry about the salary. It's so frustrating how underpaid teachers are. I hope your package was just accidentally delivered to the wrong address!

@b_1029 so sorry for the BFN. Way too many of those going around in this thread. FX for you still.

@saladflambe so sorry for another BFN. I suspect I'm gonna be out this cycle too. I was super irritated with DH this morning out of nowhere and suspect pms so I'm sure AF is around the corner too.

@tyrion_ friends, pizza, and football sound like the makings of a perfect weekend! Have fun!

@mvt2003 good luck with the 5k this weekend!

@whitealbum29 I hope everything goes well at your appointment today!!
