Anyone know the old wives tales for pregnancy? I was looking for them just for fun. I know the heartbeat one (over 140 girl under 140 boy) but thats the only one. Where is the best place to find them?

I actually just looked into this over the weekend because I made a sign for my gender reveal party. I just checked Pinterest honestly, but you can google them too. This is the sign I used as inspiration. Some are pretty interesting, but at the end of the day I wouldn’t put too much thought into them 😊

Check babycenter or What to Expect When You Are Expecting - it's basically all they talk about. You won't find a ton of interest for this stuff here.

I always think it’s fun to look at but yeah, doesn’t usually mean crap. Except the heartbeat. I’m right 99% of the time when guessing by that.

Ours was over 140 and boy, also I'm split like 50/50 with these symptoms and my Chinese calendar said girl. All these wives tales aggravate me!

They're fun to look at but only make me crazy! Haha My mom says the only one she swears by is the "if you have lots of heartburn then baby will have a full head of hair" because she didn't have heartburn with me or my brother, and we were next to bald. She had bad heartburn with my sister and the kid was born with a head full of jet black hair hah.

I think they are bs but also kind of fun. Both my boys had heart rates in the 150s-140s.?This kid has been 170-150s so far.
My three good friends all had girls within the last year and the mixing baking soda with pee was accurate for all of them so I’m being peer pressured by them to try before we find out lol

All 3 of my boys had high heart rates. This boy has been in the 160s every time

I don't have any but a friend of mine (who isn't finding out her baby's sex) was told by two different Asian ladies that she is having a girl. It will be interesting to see if that ends up being true.
