Was backing out of my driveway this morning and had to hit my brakes when a kid appeared out from behind a car parked on the street just walking straight down the middle of the street to his bus stop at a slow pace completely unconcerned with the fact that I am now sitting halfway in the road waiting for him to make it out of the way I mean WTF do we have sidewalks for
Honestly just the fact that I am so overwhelmed at work and see so many people just not working and just chit-chatting all day/playing games/reading books while on "the clock". It's so strange to me!
@brookert615
My wtf is coworkers too!! I have one guy on my team who's 26 and I have no idea how he actually gets stuff done. He was supposed to give me info so I could finish a task for his project and it took him probably 4 hours to do it. Because no joke, 2 of them he was in my quad talking to another coworker. I wasnt about to babysit him and nag him the info because I have about 5 other projects on my plate. I figure if he wants his stuff done on time, then it's up to him to make sure that information is shared.
@brookert615
I forgot to add, the project lead had asked me in the morning if it could be done by 1pm and I said "Yes assuming I get XYZ from everybody," and she even clarified what he was supposed to get me! I didnt get it until 3pm. -_-
We have specific carpool lane instructions for child pick up at our elementary school to prevent an accident or a child getting hit... people were going into the oncoming lanes blocking everyone from moving forward and getting their child. And it’s not like it was just one car. Once one person did it, it was like everyone thought that was what we do now. I just wanted to get out of my car and tell them if they don’t understand how this works, to please park and get out to pick up your kid before you cause an accident. I just sat there and watched like.... wtf?
@kmj1426, parents not following the rules for arrival/dismissal is so annoying. Especially because it's all about the safety of the kids, not just some random rules the school decided to make up!
My husband decided to enroll in school on a whim! Like I understand he is frustrated with his current job but we're literally just getting done moving into our house, have a baby on the way and not to mention he works 12 hours a day 6 days a week!
@sassypants2010 I can completely understand your frustration! On one hand you want to be supportive and genuinely want them to follow their passion. But at the same time is this the BEST time to be out of the house even more than you already are?
@craftywitch Yikes. I'm so sorry. I hope the gout clears up soon. I've never experienced it, but from what I've heard from a friend it can be excruciating.
My WTF is for our bathroom. There is no AC in the bathrooms at work so it's incredibly hot, humid and gross in there. It feels like the toilet seats are heated. Yuck.
My WTF is my DH he has a vacation planned soon with his father. A vacation that I encouraged because his dad is amazing and on the older side. But DH has done nothing but complain about it the closer it gets. I just want to shake him and tell him that if he doesn’t want to go he could stay home and help his pregnant wife take care of our two toddlers! Ahh!
