GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live? I am pretty happy living here in the northeast right outside NYC. I love being able to hop on a train and be in one of the most amazing cities in the world easily, but also living in a smaller town and having that feel, plus the schools here are excellent. But if language and COL and all that were a moot point, I think I could be very happy in Austria or Germany

How are you feeling?: Starting to feel like a normal human again, slowly. I seem to be getting little bursts of energy to get things done, and feeling like myself again. Still get nausea every once in a while but I've had a few days of not throwing up. Hoping that's a good sign that phase is ending.
Rants/Raves: Went to some yard sales this weekend with my mom and scored some baby books and and some cute shelves and storage bins! Hopefully plan on repainting this weekend if I have the time. (We might be moving into our new apartment this weekend which I am super excited about!)
Questions:
GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live? I think if I lived anywhere but the US, I would choose Ireland or Scotland. It's just so beautiful there and everyone seems so happy. I'd live out in the rural farm town, not much of a city person.

How are you feeling?: Good! Normal, energetic, pretty perky about life ATM.
Rants/Raves: I'm wearing a super cute orange maternity top I got at a thrift store over the weekend- this is me looking like a pumpkin and willing it to be fall!!!!! It was 65*F this morning which is cool enough to let a girl pretend!

GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live? Sweden. I'd ski the Swiss Alps, enjoy ridiculous amounts of maternity leave, be surrounded by dedicated environmentalists, and enjoy all the hygge in hand knit sweaters drinking coffee and eating cheese by a fire for most of the year.

Rants/Raves: Last week we put in an offer on a new house and it was accepted almost immediately! But with the contingency, we basically have a week to sell our house 😱

How are you feeling?: ok. Not nauseous unless I go too long without eating something. I’ve been getting awful headaches that are so hard to get rid of.
Rants/Raves: There is so much that needs done around the house and I feel like my husband and I aren’t home enough lately to accomplish any of it.

Baby is the size of a(n): Today's "size fact" is boring, but yesterday the baby was the size of a grande iced coffee.
Upcoming appts: 9/6 for one last doppler to ensure everything is fine before we move.
How are you feeling?: Not bad, but I just can't get comfortable. I sit one way, my back hurts. Change positions slightly and my neck hurts. Change again and a different part of my back hurts. Also, I cried yesterday after I asked hubby to try to get a photo for the HDBD thread. I don't know if he's bad at taking pictures, I don't know how to stand, or I genuinely look like that (probably all 3), but every photo came out looking like either normal non-pregnant me or like I am just a giant cylinder of fat (rather than a bump). Needless to say, I will not be posting in the thread; we'll wait a couple more weeks and try again.
Rants/Raves: Only 2 weeks til the move. Still no flights, but everything else is proceeding on schedule.
GTKY: Singapore or one of the Scandinavian countries. There actually is a job in my field in Norway, but it would be like my pie-in-the-sky dream job. I'm still several years away from the experience level needed. Also, the stars have to align, the timing must be right, and you have to commit to a three-year job in Italy first (you must prove yourself), before they'll trust you with the Norway job.

How are you feeling?: Good, Sleeping is getting harder. I am going to order a pregnancy pillow this week. Snoogle, here I come!
Rants/Raves: I am frustrated with not sleeping. I am a good sleeper and the getting up to pee in the middle of the night and side-sleeping is killing me!

How are you feeling?:
I have not had morning sickness or nausea yet. Just really really tired in the first trimester. Still tired and starting to succumb to all my emotional roller coaster feels. Anyone else having emotional hard times and wanna be each other’s cheerleader?

Really hard for me emotionally to keep working a really demanding job. But rave: at least I don’t have to suffer thru morning sickness yet!

Rants/Raves: I’m loving the Isabella Oliver dresses I got from ThredUP! They make me feel chic, which is fun when I otherwise feel far less svelte than 4 months ago.
Questions: Anyone feeling baby yet? I’m so anxious to feel him move. So glad I get a doc appointment in a week to confirm all is well.
GTKY: If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live? Perhaps Thailand. Inexpensive and gorgeous, with tons of lovely travel options nearby.

How are you feeling?: Good. Still waves of nausea, still pretty exhausted but over-the-moon excited to be in the 2nd trimester!
Rants/Raves: Long weekend but it will be super busy! Bridal shower, bachelorette party and then to work on the "garage" for our gender reveal and then it's our anniversary!
Questions: Would I totally screw myself if we waited to secure a daycare until December? We will be moving but the exact area TBD based on what we find.
