I am unashamed at how much I’m loving what pregnancy is doing for my boobs! I could do without the nipple pain while nursing but after almost 2.5 years of nursing and my toddlers preference for the right side both boobs were deflated and the left one was almost 2 cup sizes smaller 😬 I’m happy to say they are now equal in size and looking much perkier 🤣
Also this confession kind of goes alone with the above: my toddler has named my boobs. He calls his favorite one chocolate and the other side icky. He always asks for chocolate and if I say no he’ll go ok fine I’ll have icky. It’s super fun to see the looks when he asks in public though we don’t nurse in public much anymore. 🤦🏻♀️

@varimama I’m super impressed you’re nursing your toddler through pregnancy! I got big time nursing aversion when DD was almost two, and I wasn’t even pregnant! My nipples are super sore right now and I don’t want to be touched at all. You’re awesome!
confession: I’m going out and buying a Doppler because I want to tell our friends this weekend at our BBQ but my next appointment isn’t until next Friday. Once I hear a heartbeat, I’ll feel like I can tell.
Edit: ok I was wrong they’re not on shelves. I’m going to order one and it probably won’t come before our BBQ. Ugh.
@varimama, you had me rolling with the named boobs. That is so funny! I weaned my DS at 2.5, and towards the end, he would just shout out 'boobs!' when he wanted to nurse at random times, which got embarrassing in public.
My confession is that I was 'that mom' yesterday at DD's cross country meet - I followed her around the track and one of my cheers was 'you have more left than that, come on, faster! ' to which, some junior high boys scoffed and said "jeez, she's trying as hard as she can.' (And no, she wasn't trying as hard as she could, I know my DD and I know she did have more.. lol.) But yeah, I was that annoying sideline cheerleader that I never thought I would be. (way back before I had kids.)
@varimama Lol! The naming of the boobs is hilarious! But yeah, I am LOVING my pregnancy boobs, too. I have never been big chested in my entire life. My mom and sister are well-endowed but my boobs were never above a B cup. Now they are outrageously bigger than they ever have been and I feel like a damn rock star, LOL!
@kantobean I second @keeksie84's suggestion to try FB Marketplace. You can find all sorts of stuff on there. I did a quick search for one in my area (just to see) and there are two for sale, so hopefully there are some near you, as well.
@treetop19 That is too funny that you were THAT mom! I guess to an outsider it might seem like you're being harsh or overly critical, but you're her mom and you knew she had more to give! It's crazy the way life turns out... the things we end up doing even though we swore we wouldn't.
@varimama LOL my boobs were enormous when DS was NB-10m, but now they're pretty deflated despite the pregnancy and despite the fact that he's still nursing a bit. I totally have a chocolate and icky boob, too, but I only nurse out of Chocolate anymore. I stopped even using Icky about 5 months ago because Chocolate could handle things on her own LOL.
FFFC: I don't understand people who intro and then only post in the ultrasound thread, or any of the other AW threads. Like... what's the point? And, no, I won't love tit your posts. I have no idea who you are and I can't be bothered to care if you're not going to at least try to be part of the community.
@mrsvp614 lol i love that gif so much. fun fact: when DH watched the MM finale, we didn't know the last episode WAS the last episode until it was ending and i was like "omg i think this was the series finale!?" What a great show.
@stassischroeder I know I haven't been Star TB Participant lately, but...SAMES.
FFFC: While I have ZERO issue with people who choose to not have kids, I find it pathetic when these people post 99% selfies and pictures of booze on their social media. It just seems so shallow and meaningless. Although, I find it shallow and meaningless regardless of anyone's kid situation, too
ETA I realize that not everyone enjoys seeing family/kid pictures on social media, either.
I just scheduled my first prenatal massage through my insurance. I don't actually have a ton of back pain yet, which is the diagnosis code they will use, but I'm doing it anyway. I pay enough in medical premiums and rarely use my insurance so I don't feel bad.
@stassischroeder I think my fav thing about AW members are the ones who pop up to announce the birth of their babies, pictures and all (weeks after real members have migrated to FB). It's like who are you?
@stassischroeder kids are so strange picking favorite sides. I know it’s because I have a stronger letdown on that side. I probably should have gone to just one side but I felt lopsided enough 🤣
Also totally agree with AW members. I don’t get it. There’s actually one who somehow migrated to fb with us in my last bmb. She posts on every HDBD but nothing else and doesn’t reply to anything but her own comment. There’s a couple other people who rarely post and when they pop up I’m like who are you again? But it does seem like they’ve got a lot going on at least and they participate elsewhere sometimes.

FFFC I'm legit looking forward to my mucous plug coming out. It might be the most disgusting thing my body has ever produced, but BOTH times for me it meant labor was 4 days away!
I have another one (apparently I’m in a mood to confess). Whenever we find a new show we want to watch DH and I give the other person a chance to watch it so I asked if he wanted to watch Carnival Row and he said he’d try it. I’m kinda bummed bc I was hoping I could just binge watch it for my Orlando Bloom eye candy 🤣 here’s to hoping he doesn’t like it and I can continue at my own pace 😉

I'm dying laughing over "chocolate and icky" My DD stopped nursing at 14 months so we never got to the point where she had any nicknames. I'm hoping to go a little longer with this babe!
I feel like all of my FFFC are always food related. Probably because I'm not back at work yet so there's not a whole lot to confess. Today I took DD to Dunkin Donuts because "she" wanted a donut. Really I just can't stop thinking about their pumpkin donuts!
Actually I have another one... I have only been bumping from my phone this summer because I never charge my laptop at home and haven't been working. I become much more of a lurker than a poster because tagging on my phone sucks and I am suuuuper lazy
@stassischroeder same on still deflated though still nursing. I think they finally evened out since I have hardly any milk left though.
Fffc: I keep obsessing over whether my new mom friends like me or not and I think I’m gonna take a page from my old dating book and play hard to get for a bit.
@laurenm2123 did you get the pumpkin munchkins? My friend got them and said she thought they had changed from last year but they’re basically all I can think about so I want to try one anyways.
@miss.sally in the past week i have had both haha- the donut is definitely better than the munchkins IMO and at my current level of consumption I’m basically an expert
@EmilyLove25 I never lost my mucous plug with my first, and I had to be induced. Now I’m hoping I get to experience some of those natural labor signs this time around.
