Nice to meet you all! My name is Sara, first pregnancy, EDD approximately April 17th. This is an unexpected pregnancy, but not altogether shocking since medical complications caused me to abandon BC last year. I suspected I was pregnant after a brief backpacking trip when my BBs would not stop hurting. I then started piecing together weird emotional outbursts and bouts of queasiness. I received a negative on the first day of my missed cycle, and a quick positive 6 days later.
My DH and I have been together for 14 years, and we have two aging dogs. I work at a library FT and love what I do. I like to travel, hike, cook, bake, play board and video games, and garden.
Hi, I’m Erin - 33yo FTM. DH and I have been married for almost 2 years, TTC for about a year.
BFP was on 8/2 at 11 dpo. EDD is April 12th! We are both so, so excited! First prenatal appointment is 9/9.
I am an IT analyst, and DH is a logistics coordinator. We have a 6 month old golden retriever named Sawyer, who is going to be an excellent big brother
Looking forward to sharing this journey with you all!
Congratulations to all of you! I’m a FTM from Toronto, EDD April 15. DH and I have been together for almost 3 years and had been TTC for the last few months. Excited and nervous!
Hi everyone! I'm back on this forum with a BFP just yesterday. Due April 22nd and so nervous after a loss last winter at 11 weeks. I'm still friends with ladies from the group I was on with my DD5 & DS4. Excited to make some new Mama friends!
Oh & I'm 35 DH is 42 & while this is my third, it's his first! 💞💞💞
My name is Katie! I am a first time mom and I am 24. My hubby and I are both really excited!! I am a client care specialist for a real estate company and I work from home (which is perfect during pregnancy!) My estimated due date is April 18th!
Hi everyone, I've been lurking around a bit waiting for a positive 6w ultrasound to chime in. Saw a little heartbeat flicker this morning sooo things are initially looking good. FTM here with a history of PCOS, so we've been doing the fertility treatment dance for a bit, on and off for a little over 2 years. Shocked at our current situation, to be honest.
Due April 7th.
I'm 33, and DH is 28 and we live in Philadelphia with our lil shih tzu and two cats. We enjoy cooking, camping, bad television and spending time with our large families.
Excited to start this journey, and already dreading the long wait ahead!
Hello ladies! I am a 28 year old FTM who is super excited and nervous. According to the internet and my LMP my estimated due date is August 10. I look forward to having a community of people to hear from so I don’t drive my midwife crazy.
Hi everyone! My name is Hannah, FTM, I live in MO, work at a daycare, and I'm 23 years old. My DH (he works with probation) and I have been married for 8 months. This was a total surprise, but we are both so excited and happy! EDD is 4/18. We have one dog we love, her name is Luna. I love to cook, read, and paint! It's nice to meet you all!
Hey guys! I am a 29 year old, expecting our fourth baby! My EDD is 4/24. We found out a week ago with an early test. We are a very busy house with a 6, 4, and 2 year old. We also have two dogs and a cat. We are so excited to bring another little one into our family! I have been a lurker, with a few posts here and there since 2012, but I'm hoping to be more active this time around!
I'm Katie and will be 39 next month. That definitely puts me in the AMA category! I got my positive test 10 dpo and estimate my due date to be April 26th. I had a miscarriage in April of this year so I'm definitely just trying to take each day as it comes, especially since it's so early.
I have a 2.5 year old daughter (3 in Oct) who seems to have hit the terrible two's and is very demanding of me. I'm hoping that the 1st trimester isn't too hard on me this time around.
I've been married to my awesome husband for just over 3 years and we enjoy all things outdoors, but hiking/backpacking in the summer and snowboarding in the winter are our favorite activities. We also have a little backyard garden and 2 chickens!
I am an office manager for a local construction company, but I recently reduced my hours to part time and working mostly from home. It's kind of funny to have that title when I'm not really in the office...lol! I'm mainly just doing payroll and bookkeeping now. It's been nice to have more time at home with my daughter, but working from home with a toddler is a lot harder than I imagined. She's still going to daycare 1 to 2 days a week so I cram my work in then and in the early mornings!
I've enjoyed reading all the other introductions and a big congrats to all of you!
Hello! My name is Emily. I am 26 and a SAHM. I have a 3 yo girl and a 1 yo boy. I got my BFP today, but I just finished EBF my boy and I never got my MC back PP, so I’m not sure when my EDD is. Based on the signs I was tracking, trying to predict when my first ovulation would occur, I’m pretty sure I ovulated 07/31 and am due 04/22. But we shall see! I love Halloween, writing, and crochet. I am extra excited to do Halloween baby announcements this year! Sending everyone sticky thoughts
I'm a 4th time mom, 5th pregnancy. I'm a full time photographer (as in i pay taxes and have a real live studio...not just a hobby). This nugget got through the pill. We weren't planning on more kids 😳 still not exactly sure of my edd because of the birth control. US scheduled for the 29th!
Hi ladies, I’m a FTM due around April 13th, but will know more at my first prenatal visit. My husband and I got our BFP on 8/11 after I realized I was late for my period. I got the blood test done to confirm because I couldn’t believe it and it was confirmed! We currently have 2 cats who are brothers just over a year old. I currently work as a bookkeeper and my husband works as a special needs swim instructor.
I was going to wait until the first heartbeat to join the board, buuuuuut I can't wait that long. We're really excited and have been TTC for about 4 months. We're both in our early 30's, and our DS is from the D17 board. I used to be a bookkeeper too, but now I'm a SAHM. Husband is an accountant. Expected due date is around April 16. (The internet says 17th, but prime numbers give me bad juju). Can you tell we like numbers over here? I also enjoy all sorts of crafts, M&Ms in my popcorn, and Korean dramas. H&H 9 months to everyone here!!
Hi all, I’m Becky, and this will be baby #4 for us. This is completely unplanned so we’re wrapping our heads around it. Thank God when I sobbed to my husband this morning, he said all of the right things to me.
- EDD (Estimated Due Date): 4/25/2020 - How you found out: on a whim, I took a “I’m just checking” test. When the next 6/7 tests I took were positive, I figured something was up. - Hobbies, Job, Etc.: I’m a milspouse, dietitian, and work full time as the Director of Food Services for a school district. - Spouse, Partner, Kids, or Furbabies: Danny is the hubs (married 12 years); kids are Annabelle (11), Patrick (9), Jack (2); furbabies are two dogs, Betty & Dex, and Greyson the cat - Anything you’d like us to know: I HATE being pregnant and am not looking forward to that part. I apologize now for all the complaints 😂
Hello everyone! I'm Jenn! I'm a 31 year old SAHM and I live in California with my husband and 2.5 year old son.
I took a test when my period was 6 days late. I fully expected it to come up negative and thought my period was delayed because of the high stress I've had recently in caring for my grandmother who has dementia. According to my last period, my due date is 4/19.
On my downtime I like to read or clear my head at the gym.
Looking forward to getting to know all you ladies!
Hi everyone! I’m 31yo and a FTM. My DH (36yo) and I got married in June. I took a test on 8/1 “just to be sure” before we left for vacation and it was a BFP. We are very excited! My EDD is April 11th. First appt isn’t until second week of sept when I’ll be 9+ weeks, waiting is difficult!
Have been lurking for a bit and decided to join in now that it’s back to reality after vacation. Looking forward to getting to know you all!
Hey I'm Abi. I'm 27 and from Canada. This is my 5th pregnancy but will hopefully be my second baby. I found out because I wanted to have a few drinks at a concert but knew pregnancy was a possibility. Got a squinter at 10dpo. I have a daughter who will be two in a few weeks with my wonderful partner who is almost 42. This will potentially be his 5th child! (He is a little overwhelmed lol) I love sports, music, acreage life, and my friends and family. My job is as a support worker for persons experiencing disability. My hobbies include singing, cooking, and volunteering. I volunteer for a dog rescue, a women's shelter, and Special Olympics. I'm due April 22nd and am cautiously optimistic. Happy to share and find support with you lovely ladies. Good luck everyone 💕
Hi ladies! I’m 28 (will be 29 in Feb) & a FTM & we are so excited! I’ve been lurking since we found out on 8/11, but was hesitant to join until my bloodwork came back. I went last Wednesday & Friday, but they wanted me to come back this morning. Levels went way up over the weekend so I figured I’d finally join the conversation 😁 my first appointment is 9/12 at 8 weeks
- EDD is 4/23 based on LMP, I’m currently 4w4d - I took a test 4 days before my missed period like I do every month & saw a faint line, then took 3 more! - I love to read, travel, & spend time with family & friends. I work in customer service. - My husband (31) is a carpenter & I love seeing how excited he is. We have 2 fur babies: our cat Aspen & our dog Juniper. - I’m so happy & excited, but so anxious since it’s so early. I’m so happy that I found this amazing community!
Hi, ladies! Moving over from TTGP with an EDD of 4/28, but will be a RCS and probably about a week earlier. My four sisters and I all have March / April birthdays and we also have several other close family members with birthdays around then, so April should be fun. I was briefly on the August 2017 and February 2020 boards before losses. DS was born in November 2017 and hopefully he will get a rainbow baby sibling. He’s an amazing little guy who was worth the wait and I am sure our next take home baby will be, too. Right now I’m just taking it a day at a time. My first beta is at the RE tomorrow and I’m on progesterone, so I’m hoping to be able to relax and keep this one.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
Hey everyone! My name is Marie Claude, I'm 25, live in Canada, a FTM and my EDD is April 7th. I found out at the end of July before heading up North for work, I'm a teacher in a fly-in Inuit community. My spouse is also a teacher here and he's 31. We have a 7 month old dog (husky mix) that we love! My hobbies include hiking, knitting and Netflix. I'm currently on preventive leave and waiting to see if I'm immunized for 5th disease and others.
I’ve been hesitant to post because I had a loss in June (6 weeks) but here I go!
I’m 37 years old. EDD - April 6, 2020 I found out because I thought I was getting my period (cramping, low back pain, moody, and it never started. Lol.). I am an elementary music teacher (vocalist) and photographer/graphic designer (mostly for school stuff). I am the biggest tomboy but I love cooking and sewing but not cleaning. My DH is also a teacher (so he understands how exhausting and demanding it is) and we have two boys 6 and 3. We have two dogs (boys) and two cats (girls). Something else about me is I hate exercising but I love dancing so I’m trying to dance more but now I’m always feeling nauseous so it’s putting a damper on things.
@Kathryn0903 I remember you, too! I feel like I got attached during that time and it was hard to say goodbye to that BMB. I kind of kept a little distance in the Nov BMB and didn’t get very close at all in Feb. I’m gonna try to put my anxiety aside this time!!

Hi ladies! My name is Rachel, I'm 34 and a graphic designer living in SC. DH and I have one son who will be 3 in September and a chocolate lab who will be 7 in December. My EDD is 4/25 and my first scan will be 9/17. We'd been trying for about a year and I'm thrilled, but keep forgetting I'm actually pregnant (mainly because... no symptoms, yet). My office is really quiet, so I'm looking forward to having some people to chat with throughout this process!

Hey, I'm Angie! I'm 7+5, today, (EDD 4/2). Until Saturday, I was in the March 2020 group because I hadn't had my midwife appointment and was just coming off a miscarriage, so I had estimated my date based on OPK positives. My ultrasound measurements have me just barely in April, though my daughter was a week and a half early, so who knows. This is my 3rd pregnancy and I have one living daughter (3.5 yrs).
I'm a Chicago native and a professional nanny of 9 years, in my 5th year of caring for two awesome kids (5 and 3 years) along with my daughter.
I'm a beer geek who lost 2 dresses sizes, my first pregnancy, because of the lack of beer, and have tried nearly every NA beer. So hit me up, if you're looking for recommendations!
Hi ladies! I found out a few days ago that I am pregnant! 1st time being pregnant! My due date is around mid April (right near my husband and mines 2nd wedding anniversary)! I just set up my first prenatal visit!!! Eeeek! This is happening so fast and I just found out!
I work in an elementary school as a Special Ed Paraprofessional. I will be with multiple kids I've been with the past 2 years so it will be so exciting to be with them again this year to share the exciting news since they asked me after my wedding if I was having a baby anytime soon!
This baby is an answered prayer! I am so thankful and so excited to begin this exciting journey into motherhood💞🤰🏻
Hi! I'm Shannon, 30, Oregonian. This will be my third baby, I have two little boys 23 months apart. This baby will also be 23 months apart. I was a part of the July '16 BMB and I'm still best friends with some of those badass women. My EDD is April 25 but in all likelihood I will deliver the week of the 6th at 37 weeks due to previous complications with both pregnancies. I'm an autism specialist/special educator and love shopping for home decor. I found out at 9DPO when I casually took a test (expecting a negative) prior to a big drunken fun weekend...which I promptly sat out of. Womp womp! Excited to see what this BMB is all about!
Hello ladies! I’m Grace. EDD 4/3. Live in northern lower Michigan. Completely unexpected pregnancy and am excited but super scared. I’m 36/37 in Nov and my BF is 54. He has 5 kids, ages 13-25 and I have 2 boys 7 & 5. We’ve only been together 6 months and he is a major traveler. Plans to leave mid-September and not sure if or when he will come back. So I made the decision to continue my single mom life and have this baby regardless. Heard the heartbeat at 152 yesterday but I think I’m still in shock. Always wanted more kids so here goes!

Hello, second time mom here. DS will be 2 in September and I am a SAHM. I *think* my EDD is around April 16th.
I only found out I was pregnant after ordering a progesterone blood test to confirm I didn't ovulate and taking a pregnancy test before starting provera so that I could move on to my first RE cycle of clomid. My progesterone level came back pretty low, but to my shock indicated ovulation... so I immediately started supplementing (i'm supposed to start at 3DPO) and I got a BFP about 15 hours later at what I'm guessing was 9 or 10dpo. I have no idea how this was our month... I was tracking OPKs and CM and never got a positive but did DTD on fertile CM days.
I'm very hesitant to be on this board since I do have low progesterone issues, but my OB doesn't seem concerned since I started them right away before I would even have missed my period. I'm kind of surprised the OB doesn't want to follow my levels at all and just wants me to come in for a confirmation at 8-10 weeks. I think once I start having symptoms I'll be less hesitant, but for now I at least wanted a place to hang out while I pass the time.
@flinstone-2 Sooo happy you’re here! Just got my progesterone results and it’s a 29 compared to 4.7 with my loss. The 2 x 200 mg suppositories are working so much better than than taking the oral 100 mg once a day. I hope you also get some good results.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
@NYTino24 oh wow, that's fantastic! I also take vaginal prometrium 200mg 2x a day. I haven't had any spotting at all but still super cautious about it since I can't tell what's going on in there. Congrats on your BFP!
Re: Introduce Yourself!
My husband and I have been married for almost 7 years, and we have an awesome 3 year old son.
We found out unexpectedly, as we hadn't planned on trying again until later this year.
I am an Environmental Project Manager for our state environmental agency.
My husband and I are both avid sailors who have raced for over 15 years. We love anything outdoors, especially on the water.
BFP was on 8/2 at 11 dpo. EDD is April 12th! We are both so, so excited! First prenatal appointment is 9/9.

Looking forward to sharing this journey with you all!
