Middle name for Clara

Pregnant with #2 and trying to narrow down our list. We still don’t know if this is a boy or a girl, but we have a boys name picked from our first pregnancy. We have a couple other names on the list (Charlotte, Delilah, Amelia, Caroline) But Clara is our top choice right now.

Don’t have any great family names to use in the middle name spot, but can’t use Jane or Grace. Prefer a 1 syllable but am open to other good suggestions :) Last name starts with M and has 3 syllables.

Big sis is Sa.vannah J.ane
Boys name is Wi.lliam Cl.ayton

    I really prefer to honor someone with the middle name spot. But if you really don’t have anyone you would like to honor and want a one syllable middle name...

    @daffodil_shoe I would love to honor someone but the options are pretty bad lol— The only ones I can think of are Carroll, Lorion, Elizabeth (okay) or Ethel

    Suggestion here... You could use a variation of a family name to honor. For example, Beth for an Elizabeth. 
    And Clara Beth sounds pretty together.

    I really like the Clara Beth suggestion. I also like Clara June but find it too close to your other daughters middle name Jane.

    My favorite right now is Clara Mae because 1) it sounds slightly southern which “goes with” DD’s name without being super matchy and 2) I was born in May

    DH loves Clara Rose, Clara Belle, Beth and Anne are all really pretty too :)
