Re: WTO Wednesday 8/14
Good morning! Hope it’s ok that I posted the dailies...I’ve never done that before.
Month/Cycle: 15/11/1 AL#2
CD: 10
WAYDTGKU: Nothing, waiting for RE appt. tomorrow.
R/R: It’s Hump Day!! My boss (we are a department of only 2 - me & him) wants to start having weekly meetings to “check in”. First one is this morning...I think they’ll be good, but I’m also dreading it for some reason.
CS/Q: None.
Month/Cycle: 4/4
CD: 14
WAYDTGKU: PNVs, BBT charting, CM & CP tracking, OPKs, Pre-Seed, Mucinex (CD10 to 1DPO), and baby aspirin.
R/R: If we don't get KU this cycle, then I'm considering benching us in September & October. With our WDW trip scheduled for April 2020 and then I walk in my graduation ceremony for my master's program in June, plus the possibility of transferring units next summer, I don't wanna be hugely pregnant or with a newborn during all of that. Then again, given our ages and everything, I am hesitant to put this off any longer.
CS/Q: No temp spike yet, so I'm still here. CP is still SHOW, and CM is watery and haven't gotten EWCM yet, but that could be due to the Mucinex. I got a high reading on CBAD OPK on Sunday, Monday, and yesterday, so I dunno what's going on. We'll see what today holds for us. It's still early yet.
Due with baby #2: Feb 2022
Good Morning! Sorry I had to post and ghost yesterday with my travels!
@bluetickgal I can understand your hesitation- I would be a little nervous too. Hope it goes well!
@ttcbabyodo That's a tough decision, hope you and YH can come up with a decision you are both happy with. Hopefully it won't come to that and you will get KU this cycle! I bet O is today!
Month/Cycle: 6/4
CD: 13
WAYDTGKU: BBT, ovusense, OPK's, CM, CP
R/R: So I got an almost positive OPK this morning and I'm so confused . I have never ever ever ovulated this early (for instance since I started tracking I have O'd on day 56, 54, 41, 38, and 24. I don't have my typical leading up to O symptoms so I guess we will just see what happens, I'm thinking it's just a fluke. On the plus side, my DH came to town for dinner last night since I haven't seen him in a couple weeks so we did get some timing in. Other than that, it was so nice to sleep in my own bed last night!
CS/Q:
@bluetickgal - everyone can post dailies! But yeah I got a little rush the first time I did hahah.
@ttcbabyodo - I hope you get KU and don't have to consider benching! I'm weighing whether we'll have to be benched in the near future b/c of some planned travel too...
@rachelg777 - Which kind of OPK are you using? Digital or non? With the ones I use (the non digital Easy @ Home ones) it can read as "high"/positive before it's an actual peak. I would keep testing until you get a real definite peak!
Month/Cycle: 12/12
CD: 6
WAYDTGKU: this month just prenatals, shatavari, evening primrose oil, acupuncture, CM. SA and some other testing planned for early September so just chilling out a bit till then.
R/R: The soup I made last night turned out well! It was rainy during the day but probably still a little too hot for soup...but was still yummy. And looking forward to barre class tonight.
CS/Q: nope
@ttcbabyodo Only you know what works best for you. I benched myself for Feb & March because MH is a courier and works basically 6 days a week from Thanksgiving through New Year's. Although I do sometimes look back and wonder if I wasted that time. Just know that no matter what you decide, things will work out okay in the long run.
@rachelg777 I get random high surges of LH leading up to O sometimes, too. But then it's 100% unequivocal when I get my peak reading, so I generally ignore anything other than blazing positives where the test line is much darker/thicker than the control line.

R/R:
RANT!! I had a discussion last night with DH about HIO and I made some comment (with a joking tone) of "It's game on this week!" and he said "Don't put me on a schedule for sex! I've told you before I don't like having to plan out when we have sex... it's too much pressure and then I feel like I can't perform". I get it, I really really do.... but come on!! I then asked him if he wanted to have a baby, which of course he said that he absolutely does. I was like "Don't you think I'm under pressure too? I'm the one that has to get pregnant and then stay pregnant and go through all of this testing and treatments to try and make that happen and on top of it I need to try and make scheduled sex as spontaneous as possible?!" He also made a comment about "isn't this why we are doing the IUI? so we don't have to stress about timing as much?" And I told him that yes, that was part of the reason, but that it's still good to get extra times in before and after the IUI so that we have as many chances as possible. He apologized to me a few minutes later, which was nice, and he gave me a big hug but I still feel really "blah" about the whole thing. I was feeling really good going into this cycle but now I just don't know anymore. Thanks for letting me vent!
CS/Q: I'm going to ask this in the IF thread too but those that have done IUIs before, did you still worry/stress about timing HIO before and after the procedure? Am I just making myself more crazy with all this worry when technically the IUI should take care of it?

CS/Q: I think that's a wrap for me! Huge temp spike this morning after a smaller jump yesterday. I'm guessing O was Monday, which would give us phenomenal timing. I'll stick around 1 more day until FF gives me CH. I am exhausted and looking forward to a HIO break. Last night, sex was really uncomfortable and it felt like it was really hitting my cervix, so position is definitely low now. I think I'm going to skip the last one that SMEP calls for after the 3 days in a row after the +OPK. That would put me at +3 and just seems silly. WHEW!!!

@ttcbabyodo sure hope things work out for you this cycle and in the coming months. FX that this is your month!
@rachelg777 nice you got to have dinner with your DH and sleep in your own bed! Hopefully O showed up as well.

@bluetickgal I hope the check in meetings are helpful!
@ttcbabyodo hopefully you get KU this cycle and won't have to make a benching decision.
@rachelg777 Do you also have PCOS? I have been told that you can get several LH surges that turn an OPK but aren't necessarily your O. It's such an extra frustrating part to having long cycles.
@whitealbum29 glad your soup turned out well! I'm looking forward to cooler weather when I can start making soups regularly in the crock pot. It's hard when the weather is warm and you want soup!
@kpearse99 sorry for YH's reaction. That's super frustrating. I feel like men just don't get the mental burden we carry with TTC and pregnancy.
@shamrocandroll your chart looks fantastic. Cruising my fingers for you that this is your cycle!! I hope you feel better and aren't catching that stomach bug.
@ottergirl81 that's a tough position to be in. When is your RE appointment?

@gingermama29 I do have a semi relaxing day like that too! Just a bit of laundry and housework today!
@ottergirl81 💕 to you, I would feel the same way.
@shamrocandroll Girl, you are a rockstar! Hopeing all that hard work pays off for you!
@kpearse99 I totally understand the frustration. It’s not like we enjoy timed sex either. 🙄 I was reading on here a bit yesterday about saliva being bad and told MH and he said something along the lines of youd think people haven’t been having babies for years. I was so irritated.
@whitealbum29 Glad your soup was good! I cook it year around, I love anything hot.
@rachelg777 I hope you get some clarity soon, I don’t ever count them unless they’re super dark. That sounds frustrating being all over the place!

@gingermama29 enjoy your day!!! I hope you get to squeeze a nap in, that's what I would do at least!
@shamrocandroll I over think EVERYTHING... so of course now I am over thinking that "does he think that I only want to have sex with him to make a baby"? LOL... I'm BS crazy right now over all of this! I did reiterate to him last night that I don't enjoy timing sex either but that I do really enjoy HIO with him every single time. @whitealbum29 haha, it was a bit of a rush...but I was nervous someone else would post them at the same time! Glad your soup turned out well! Have fun at barre...I used to do it and kind of miss it!
@kpearse99 sorry for the tough discussion last night! That’s nice he apologized, but that’s still frustrating! Hopefully you can initiate and make it not seem scheduled...but it does seem unfair to have to make it seem spontaneous on top of everything else you have to do! No insight on the IUI, but I would think anything extra would just be a bonus! The meeting with my boss was really good! He is super busy, so some weeks I barely get a chance to talk to him about anything I’m working on, so I think these structured weekly meetings will be a good thing!
@shamrocandroll ok, great...I thought it seemed like different people posted them frequently, so figured it was ok. My goodness, what a temp spike!! Bravo for sticking to it even though O was so late!! I really hope you aren’t getting the stomach bug!
@ottergirl81 I have benched us this cycle since my OB had us do that after the first loss. Unless the RE says something different tomorrow, we’ll sit this cycle out and hopefully get started with a new plan next cycle. I totally understand wanting to try again, but I’m also nervous to start trying again until we have some answers.
@gingermama29 thanks, I think they will be very good! I hope you have a relaxing day, despite the laundry!
@photographerwife thanks, it was good! I hope your week calms down some!
@shamrocandroll me too but I wasn’t expecting it so soon, usually mine start getting darker (even though not positive) much later in my cycle! I’m hoping it means I O sooner but also not too soon lol. Yes definitely take a break, you deserve a medal lol. Hope you aren’t getting sick and good luck in the TWW!
@kpearse99 I’m sorry about the HIO woes with YH- we go through the same thing! It’s so hard sometimes.
@ottergirl81 I’m sorry, that sounds like a tough spot to be in. If no one said anything one way or the other I would do what you think is best for you.
@gingermama29 I’ve never been formally diagnosed but unofficially yes I do. My OPK’s usually behave for the most part though! Have a great day to yourself!
@ttcbabyodo It’s such a tough decision to make. I thought about benching us for a few upcoming weddings I don’t want to miss, but we decided to just continue trying and see what happens. GL making the decision that will be right for you.
@rachelg777 I don’t count it until it’s a true positive, as dark as or darker than the control line. Glad you got some HIO in though just in case! Have you talked to your doc about your irregular cycles?
@whitealbum29 Glad you enjoyed the soup. Have fun at barre class!
@kpearse99 Ugh the timing thing is so hard. I haven’t yet figured out how to make it seem spontaneous but also make sure we get enough HIO in, while also giving his sperm time to build back up. He’s complained in the past that I was making it a chore, so I’m trying really hard to not do that. Glad your H apologized and gave you a hug. FX for spontaneous scheduled sex!
@shamrocandroll Wow temp rise! I’ll be seeing you in TWW tomorrow! Hope you feel better soon.
@ottergirl81 Can you call your RE and ask what they recommend? Hugs to you
@gingermama29 Hope you get everything done!
@photographerwife Hope the rest of your week is a bit smoother.

@gingermama29 Thanks! I'm feeling better now, so I dunno what that was about! It almost felt like a hangover, except I haven't had anything to drink since Saturday night. Your day to yourself sounds heavenly!
@photographerwife Thanks! I hear you on the crazy week, for sure.
@kpearse99 I overthink everything, too. But I can guarantee you he still wants to have sex with you. SOme guys just don't like feeling that kind of pressure. It's pretty normal for a guy to not want to have any knowledge of how much is at stake during any given HIO session, I think. Unfortunately, we have the burden of knowing regardless, and it would be nice to share that mental load, right?
@bluetickgal Nah, if you don't see a regular thread that you want to participate in yet, then go ahead and post it! Thanks! I'm feeling much better now, thankfully!
@rachelg777 There are so many factors with OPKs. I never fully trust them. But they're good supplemental information to have, at least.

@inthewoods23 Oh man do I hope so!!!
On that note... I know my OB will do my EDD based on my LMP, so my question is: Do I explain to her I O'd crazy crazy late and ask her to go by that instead, or do I lie about my LMP and put it so O is on CD14? Putting the cart way before the horse here and this is early TWW optimism talking, but I just worry about being scheduled for a first u/s almost 2 weeks too early and having them see nothing.

@shamrocandroll they did track my hcg and did a U/S and it's been confirmed that there was nothing left. What you're saying does make sense. Thank you very much.
@bluetickgal you make a valid point, and I will give my OB a call to see what would be safe. I am thinking benched this cycle would be best.
@gingermama29 no RE appointment yet, I will be calling them this week to see what's up. Been waiting on them, but am getting impatient.
