@jennifer_louise I love the pattern on tour dress, I’ve never seen one like that! I actually ordered my train the shortest I possibly could. When I tried the one on in the store, it was sooo much longer!
@bluetickgal DH wanted to wear them and had all the groomsmen in chucks too. I love the arch at your ceremony!
Two dresses! We did the ceremony in the first dress with his kilt, then we both changed. @ttcbabyodo we had a hand fasting too! @shamrocandroll I used my mother's wedding veil, so it didn't cost anything. @inthewoods23 That cake is amazing!
@m6agua that’s very cool! My DH wore Star Wars socks, but that was the extent of our “fun” attire. Thank you...my dad made the arbor, and our florist provided the flowers to coincide with our bouquets. It was a Pinterest vision that actually came to life! 😂
@whatsbumpinpumpkin they are both so pretty, and that’s very sweet that you wore your mom’s veil!!
I have loved this GTKY!! I could look at wedding dresses all day I think, and it’s been fun to see everyone’s different styles/fashion!
Okay since I have no wedding dress here are two wedding-related photos: -one of my favorite dresses I've worn to someone else's wedding! (I couldn't figure out how to put something over it so I cropped) -my grandmother (in the maid of honor/Little Bo Peep getup) and her sister at her sister's wedding in the 1940s, that happened to be on my Instagram.
@whitealbum29 wow...that 1940s bridesmaid dress is really something! Obviously stylish for the time period. I wish I had a picture of my mom's bridesmaids. Their dresses had hoods(it was the 70s). I often wonder what the brides of the 80s think looking back at their dresses. I believe butt-bows and puffed sleeves were in back then!
@jennifer_louise your comment reminds me that the other day I realized I am the longest active participant in the Trouble TTC board right now. Everyone else has only joined in the last few months. 😢 Oh well... What can you do. 🤷♀️ Just gotta look forward to my FET!

We didn't have a ceremony or suit/dress. Neither of us wanted a traditional wedding, and I was really upset that my mother-in-law went against my request for no cameras/video that day. We married in a courthouse on a stormy Friday the 13th.
I think I wore a bright purple dress (I had neon pink hair at the time too), and my DH wore a black dragon shirt and baggy JNCO pants. Oh, the early 2000s! We will have been married for 19 years (in April), but we often forget this anniversary. We prefer to celebrate the anniversary of our first date instead.
