Re: IF Testing and Treatment w/o 8/12
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): WFIVF
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): Last BCP is tomorrow, Meds come Wed, Baseline is Fri, and Stims start Saturday!
How are things going?: Pretty good. Excited that it's almost IVF time! But also kinda nervous and worried about how I will respond. Really hoping there are still some good eggs in there.
Any questions?: Those who have done IVF, does time of day matter for the injections? I'm supposed to go out with some friends on Saturday but it's also my first day of Stims. I'm sure I could get away in a bathroom to do them if needed but I am slightly worried since I know the Gonal F needs to be refrigerated, and I need to double check with my nurse but I wasn't sure what time of day you're supposed to do them.
GTKY: What popular movie or TV show have you never seen?
Game of Thrones.

Diagnosis (if you've been): Unexplained RPL, unexplained IF (possible LP defect)
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): WTO
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): We have an appointment with the RE on Thursday to regroup and decide what to do next. The progesterone made a huge difference with my LP, so we might do TI with progesterone again this cycle. Maybe our RE will recommend something else.
How are things going?: TBH, I've been better. Lots of emotions this weekend, including bitterness which I don't like feeling. Today I am trying to focus on the positive. My LP lasted longer because of the progesterone, so we know I responded well to it.
Any questions?: Not right now. I will probably have some after my appointment on Thursday. I don't know if my RE will put me on any new meds or order additional testing.
GTKY: What popular movie or TV show have you never seen? I've never seen Game of Thrones, Stranger Things, The Bachelor/Bachelorette, Real Housewives...I am sure there are a lot more but I can't think of them right now.
@emeraldduchess I'm so sorry, friend. Bitterness here too. Sometimes anger as well. These aren't normal emotions for me so I find it hard to deal sometimes too. It's not fair, friend, but we are here with you! ❤️
Diagnosis: unexplained
Status: TWW
What are you doing this cycle? Getting KU! (lol, jk ❤️). I'm on my third and final 50mg Clomid cycle, and having my initial RE consult at the end of this month.
How are things going? Well, it's back to work after a week off so I'm not super stoked about Monday. I'm usually a little excited about going back to work but not Today. My mental state is fragile because I'm so on edge for anything that will trigger me and it's exhausting.
That all sounds super negative so here's something positive - we haven't gone grocery shopping yet so it's a bagel for breakfast this morning!! 🎉 🎉
Any questions? Not right now
GTKY: probably a lot! I've never seen Orange is the New Black, Stranger Things, RHONY, Game of Thrones, Bachelor/Bachelorette or HIMYM. There's probably more because I always tend to watch the same things over again instead of starting something new.
@emeraldduchess you said that your husband's SA was normal right? Because if so, then you could be fine doing another cycle with just the progesterone if that's what you wanted! Did you inform your RE that you got your period?
Diagnosis (if you've been): PCOS
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): finishing Provera this week
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): Letrozole, trigger, progesterone. DH is doing his repeat SA tomorrow, too.
How are things going?: meh. super bloated on Provera so I'm glad that it ends tomorrow! I'm hoping it's a quick get-my-period time and not like the one time where it took like 10 days or something crazy.
Any questions?: not now
GTKY: What popular movie or TV show have you never seen? The Walking Dead, Breaking Bad,13 Reasons Why... .those are the ones that come to my mind first.
@emeraldduchess I'm with you on the bitterness and I hate it. You're not alone and your feelings are normal. I'm glad you did well on the progesterone and hopefully that does the trick!
@jennifer_louise I'm sorry this cycle has been rough on you and FX this round of Clomid works. How have you been responding to the Clomid? I did 100mg and my ovaries were still blah about it.
Diagnosis (if you've been): DOR, RPL
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): IVF
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): Started stims yesterday.
How are things going?: Good! So far I'm only doing micro doses of Lupron. I add Follostim and Menopur tomorrow, so I'm a little nervous about side effects from all three.
Any questions?: Nope, not right now.
GTKY: What popular movie or TV show have you never seen? Add me to the GOT group. I've also never seen the Godfather movies. MH is appalled by this.
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): TWW
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): letrozole + trigger + TI
How are things going?: ok. We had a long but fun weekend away but I’m exhausted! Only one person at the wedding asked when we’re having kids, so that’s a plus I guess? I’m also sad because I was testing out the trigger and now everything is just blank. I don’t know why this is shocking to me by now but I was hoping for the 2nd line to come back.
Any questions?: nope
GTKY: What popular movie or TV show have you never seen? Walking Dead, Real Housewives...I know there are some older popular movies that DH is always shocked by but I can’t remember them off the top of my head.
@jennifer_louise I am the same way! I literally watch the same old shows over and over even though I've seen them a million times. I'm such a creature of habit. lol.
@mokay19 Hope AF shows up soon! Mine normally takes about 3-4 days after Provera if that helps at all.
@ruby696 Oh so are you taking injections in the morning and at night? I just sent an email to my nurse but yeah you are probably right, I'll bring a cooler with me. So excited for you too!

@emeraldduchess I hope your appointment goes well on Thursday! I saw your post in WTO as well and I’m really sorry everything is dumping down on you at once. Hugs to you!
@jennifer_louise I totally missed it / have a bad memory but where’d you go? Going back to work after vacation is the worst! Sorry you are struggling, we’re all here for you ❤️
@mokay19 I hope YH’s SA goes well tomorrow! Refresh my memory, what were the results of his first one? Hopefully the provera does it’s job ASAP!
@ruby696 ahhh it’s happening! I’m so excited for you and hope the side effects aren’t too bad for you!
@jennifer_louise yay for RE consult! Coming soon! I kinda want a bagel now 😄
@ruby696 DH and my SIL are sorta movie buffs and there were so many movies I hadn't seen that they were shocked I had never watched! Sorry, guess I'd rather do other things than watch the classics 🤷

What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): started Lupron last week, last BCP on Wednesday, estradiol valerate starts on the 22nd if everything looks good at my upcoming baseline
How are things going?: I'm trying really really hard to not fall into the thought of "this FET isn't going to work". I want to 100% believe it will work the first time but I have that tiny shred of doubt in the back of my head.
Any questions?: I'm still bleeding from my hysteroscopy last week. It's light and only requires a few pantiliners during the day. I've read that the bleeding can take up to 2 weeks, but I'm stopping BC in a few days with AF expected around this coming Saturday. How the heck am I gonna know when AF starts if I'm already bleeding? My periods are fairly light when taking BC so I worry I won't be able to tell. Thoughts anyone?
GTKY: What popular movie or TV show have you never seen?
I'm also in the bandwagon of GoT. Probably never will since I don't have HBO. I've also never watched Frozen and a handful of other animated movies.

@ruby696 so happy that it's happening for you! FX that the shots remain easy peasy with minimal side effects... other than awesome eggs of course.
@b_1029 I hate when people ask that question. I want to slap them and tell them to rethink their words. How many days past trigger are you now? My DH's SA from earlier this year had elevated leukocytes so he took a antibiotic and was supposed to retest after but never did (men... *eyeroll* ) so I told him that he has to redo it before we start IVF since that would cause issues for that. He was sick during the first sample so I'm hoping it was just some contamination but idk. There's the blood-testes barrier so sickness shouldn't effect it and maybe I'm just being hopeful... idk.
@hanshotfirst77 yea, it's taken my body anywhere from 1 day to 10ish days to get a period after Provera... I think I've taken it close to 10 times so we'll see what this time brings!
@inthewoods23 sorry about all the confusion with the bleeding and meds... I spotted for a few days after my hysteroscopy and when I stopped the BC I never bled again. If you don't start bleeding over the weekend, I would just mention that to your doctor because they might just start your baseline right away if you don't have a lining to shed.
Diagnosis (if you've been): Unexplained IF

What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): Letrozole, Trigger and IUI!!
How are things going?: I am getting really excited and feeling very positive and hopeful again! It's been a rough 2 months/cycles for me with just not feeling anything related to TTC much but I just finished my my letrozole and I'm anxious to meet with them on Thursday and see if we can get the show on the road over the weekend! I'm slightly nervous about the timing, as I travel again for work the 19th-21st which would be CD 15-17 so I'm holding on to hope that we get the "go" before that or that it will hold out until I get back!
Any questions?: Has anyone seen those crystal fertility bracelets? An advertisement popped up on my FB feed a few weeks ago so I figured, what the heck?! and ordered one. It came it while I was away last week and I've been wearing it all weekend. Obviously it doesn't make you more fertile but the crystals are supposed to give you a more positive feeling and outlook - basically good ju-ju - and help you to feel overall better about your body. I've never been one to fully believe the power of crystals, but I know a lot people do, so i figured why not give it a shot, right? I'll try anything at this point!
GTKY: I've never seen Top Gun or the Walking Dead!

@b_1029 yay for only one person asking rude, intrusive questions! Sad that we should be excited about that. Also, I'm surprised that you didn't get a second line after triggering, but on the plus side, now you don't have to worry about whether a second line is real in a couple of weeks. ❤
@inthewoods23 I'm so excited for you! It's impossible not to have doubts. I'm right there with you. ❤
@kpearse99 hey, whatever helps you keep a positive mindset! The beads themselves may not do anything but at least it’s a good reminder! I hope all the timing works out well with your trip!
@ruby696 I don’t think I worded that well haha, there was a second line but now the tests are coming back blank! I was just hoping for something by now but I am impatient.
@inthewoods23 I’m glad everything is moving right along! I think it’s totally normal to have those doubts. Just know that for each one of your negative thoughts, there are a million positive ones from all of us on here! I know I’m very hopeful for everyone but myself!

@emeraldduchess I'm really glad you responded well to the progesterone! I hope you're able to start feeling positive again, I know it was rough weekend for you emotionally, bitterness is never a good feeling. Also, I've never watched any of the Real Housewives shows either - I'm not into those types of reality tv shows.
@jennifer_louise I feel ya on the fragile state, it has been a challenge to get myself out of it - hang in there! Going back to work after a period of time off is never fun! I really didn't want to go in today either, I so badly just wanted to work from home!
@mokay19 I'm really hoping AF arrives soon for you, now that you've finished the provera.
@b_1029 what do you mean by "testing out the trigger" isn't it just a one time shot to get the LH surge for O? Sorry, I'm still new to this whole process and I'll be doing the trigger shot sometime within this week, hopefully, so I'm curious!
@inthewoods23 I know the feeling you have about wanting to believe it's going to work but also having a feeling that it won't - I'm trying to block those feelings out from entering my own head about this first IUI!

@jennifer_louise Sorry you’re in a fragile state right now. I hear you on trying to avoid all the triggers, it’s so hard. Hope you have a smooth first day back at work. And yay for the upcoming RE appointment!

@ruby696 So exciting you are starting stims. Hope the side effects are very minimal!
@b_1029 Sorry everything is coming up blank. That’s the most annoying question that people ask and I just dread it. How do you usually respond? I usually say we’re not sure, or when we’re ready.. but I’m really tempted to just be snarky and say we can’t or we’re dealing with IF just to shut them down.
@inthewoods23 It’s hard to be 100% positive when you’ve been through so much and it makes sense that you don’t want to get your hopes up too high. I’m rooting so hard for this FET to be a success! We’re all here for you no matter what happens
@kpearse99 Hope the timing works out for you! I’ve never heard of the bracelets, but doesn’t hurt to try it right?

@ruby696 Yes!!! Same here - that's exactly how I felt about it... I never really believed in the "healing" power that many people claim crystals have, or any other power behind them, but it can't hurt to have a little faith in it at this point, right?! If wearing a pretty little bracelet gives me a constant reminder to feel good and positive than why not?!
@jennifer_louise yes, it is my first IUI cycle!! I'm getting pretty excited about it, not gonna lie!

@b_1029 I'm totally going to take cheapie pregnancy tests whenever I do my trigger shot. I've never seen a positive test, so it will be "fun" (wow, how my definition of fun has changed since TTC!) to finally see one.
@inthewoods23 It's such a struggle to remain positive, while also engage in self-preservation in case things don't go the way we want them to. I echo what others have said: so many of us are holding onto positive thoughts for you. We may not be able to do it for ourselves, but that's why we have each other!
@mokay19 FX for YH's SA tomorrow!
@jennifer_louise I hear ya on feeling fragile. Yesterday I was in a funk, feeling like none of this was ever going to work. I don't know why some days are like that! On the plus side, I'm glad you got a bagel, and that it was good!
Diagnosis (if you've been): AMA, 1 blocked tube, otherwise unexplained?
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): WTO
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): Just doing TI this cycle. Next cycle starts clomid and IUI with a trigger shot.
How are things going?: I'm getting so anxious about starting IUI. Honestly, I didn't expect our RE to be willing to try any ART yet, so I was happy to have something new to try. But now I am letting all of my anxieties creep in. I'm getting worried about getting the timing right. Looking at when my next cycle is supposed to start, of course CD3 will probably be on the weekend, so will that screw things up? Then, for my job I have to be "on-call" certain days, and of course one of my on-call days falls around when I assume IUI would need to happen. With my luck, someone will call in and I will have to work the overnight shift in our psych ER. Then, on top of that, I am reading about IUI and getting further reinforced that it probably won't work. Idk. It makes sense to me that it should help us, and my insurance does cover some fertility treatment, so the cost won't be totally out of pocket. But then I read article after article saying IUI is a waste of time and I start to question if we're doing the right thing.
Any questions?:See above rambling.
GTKY: What popular movie or TV show have you never seen? I am shamefully behind on Disney Pixar films in general. I work in a children's hospital, so there is no excuse for me to have never seen Frozen, etc, and yet, here I am.
@jennifer_louise ahhh now I want a bagel! But I’m also trying to drop like 10# in 10 days (LOL) before my SIL’s bachelorette party because one activity is on a boat sooooo. Sounds like a fun week, and I’m glad meeting him wasn’t too bad!
@kpearse99 oh that makes sense! I had no idea there were different kinds of trigger shots! I’m very excited for you!!
@shoogapoff lol I know right? The night we did the shot, I told DH I was so pumped to wake up and take a pregnancy test (for probably the first time since like month 3 or 4 of TTC haha) since I KNEW it would be positive. He was just like, uhhhh ok. I also stress about timing with all of this- I think because I’m no longer in control- but doctors know what they’re doing so I’m just trying to trust it. As far as IUI- I have heard either (that it’s pointless or it’s not) so it’s really hard to tell. I know it has worked for some people though, so FX for you!
Edited- missed a tag!
@hanshotfirst77 Yay for getting this show on the road! I have no advice, but am so excited for you!
@emeraldduchess I'm so sorry about your BFN and AF starting. It goes without saying, but there have been so many times where I have told MH "This isn't even a little bit fair." And that's how I feel for you right now. Thinking about you, lady, and still holding out all kinds of hope.
Diagnosis (if you've been): Still testing but some MFI
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): WTO
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): Going for ultrasound at the end of the month
How are things going?: Not bad. I’m working on learning new ways to deal with stress/worries about IF and I think I’m in a pretty good place right now. I’m reading a book about infertility that I have found so helpful (Conquering Infertility by Dr. Alice Domar). I know there isn’t much more I can do until I get in to see the RE, so I figure the best thing I can do for myself is learn some coping skills!
Any questions?: For those who are dealing with low sperm count/motility/morph.. do you time HIO for EOD? I’m reading such conflicting things online and it’s making my head spin.
GTKY: What popular movie or TV show have you never seen? Breaking bad, suits, parks & rec

Also, I feel ya on the anxiety of not being able to time the IUI just right. I'm nervous for that too for my first cycle doing it (this cycle) as I'll be away for work on CD 15-17. I tend to O around CD 18ish but still....I just don't want to waste a medicated cycle since you can only do so many of them, ya know?!

Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): limbo (not sure if we will be benched this cycle or not...should find out Thursday for sure).
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): We have our first RE appt. Thursday. I’m waiting to hear back if DH can get his SA done that day (they are booked but may be able to squeeze him in), and also if my OB will do another HCG test before then to make sure it’s back down to 0 or if we just need to have that tested by the RE.
How are things going?: Pretty good, I am just so ready for Thursday to get here! I called the RE’s office this morning with several questions and they got back to me quickly and the nurse really seemed like she cared!
Any questions?: Any must ask questions for the first RE appt? We plan on sitting down tonight to make a list.
GTKY: What popular movie or TV show have you never seen? Walking Dead, Breaking Bad and OITNB
@hanshotfirst77 yay for almost being done with BC and starting the stims! I’ve got everything crossed for you that this is it!!
@emeraldduchess I’m so glad the progesterone helped lengthen your LP! I’m right there with you on the bitterness/anger, and I hate being this way! I hope you feel good about a plan going forward once you meet with your RE!
@jennifer_louise hope you had a good time away...but boo for the Monday feels! A bagel sounds like a good way to start the day though!
@mokay19 hope AF makes her arrival sooner than she has before with Provera! It’s taken me 4-8 days before, hope it’s super quick for you this time!
@ruby696 good luck with all the shots, and hopefully the side-effects won’t be bad! I have everything crossed for you!!
@b_1029 glad you had a fun weekend! Ugh, it stinks that it was even one person! I’ve tried to think back before we were TTC and I don’t think I every asked anyone something like that... I really hope I didn’t! You gain a completely different perspective when you are going through IF, and I hope I never hurt someone (or put them in an uncomfortable situation) in the past by asking!
@inthewoods23 like others have said, we are thinking all the positive thoughts for you!! Hope the bleeding from your hysteroscopy stops soon so there will be no confusion about AF!
@kpearse99 I’m glad your positivity has come back and you are feeling good about this cycle! I hope the timing works out perfectly with your work travels!
@shoogapoff would you mind sharing your Bible verse mantra? I’ve been trying to lean more on my faith and not be as bitter/discouraged, so I’d love to know what has helped you. I don’t have any insight on IUI, but I hope you feel better about it before next cycle...better yet, hopefully TI works this cycle and it’s not even needed!!
@misshelen86 that’s great you have found some ways to help cope with the stress of IF! I think I’ll check that book out! No insight for you, but I get it...sometimes all the info on the internet just makes things worse because there is no clear answer! Hope you get some clarity soon!
@bluetickgal I know, I think back and I’m sure I did. I know for sure I asked my ex bf but I didn’t know they were struggling. Now I feel so bad about it! As far as the RE, I would ask about tests they run, typical treatment plans based on diagnoses, and that type of thing. I came with a list of questions the first time but found my RE more or less answered them all when she was talking. It was super overwhelming to me with all the info but a lot of it I already knew from research + the ladies here!
Diagnosis (if you've been): PCOS, mild MFI (increasing with each subsequent SA)
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): WTO
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): Letrozole + trigger + IUI + progesterone
How are things going?: Physically, I have 4 follies all measuring over 20mm on my left side (I think it's 20, 22, 24, 25mm) so we're on track to trigger tomorrow with my IUI scheduled for Wednesday morning. MH is feeling the pressure to be able to do "his thing" on demand so I'm trying hard not to put any more pressure on him.
Emotionally, I'm struggling. I'm excited for the IUI because it feels like we're finally ready to move on to the next step since just letrozole + TI wasn't working (I think I did 7 cycles on letrozole?), but at the same time it's weighing on my heart because I'm not ready to accept that this may never happen for us naturally. I identify as IF in the sense that we've been trying for 20 months without success but it's another thing to really wrap my head around the idea of needing ART and what that entails. That being said, I'm ready for whatever they're going to throw at me. We're prepared to do 3 IUIs before moving on to IVF. The shots, meds, etc doesn't scare me. I'm just feeling extra broken these days. I had a pretty hard reality check because we have been saying for months that we'd move on to IUI/IVF "after the wedding"... so now it's after the wedding, and realizing I'm not actually a SS who isn't going to have her magical honeymoon baby hit me like a tonne of bricks. Wahh.
Any questions?: Do I need to be prepared for any side effects from the trigger? Did anyone have any spotting from the IUI? Mentally preparing myself for what to expect. I sometimes spot just from my U/S because they have to dig around to see around my fibroid (ugh), and I had a lot of bleeding from my hycosy so I feel like I just have a super dramatic, overly sensitive cervix that doesn't like to be prodded.
GTKY: What popular movie or TV show have you never seen? Oh there's so many. Parks and Rec (lol, we've been over this), Mad Men, GoT, Stranger Things... I used to watch a lot of TV when I was single, but MH and I don't watch tv other than Jeopardy and re-runs of BBT, Mom and Modern Family. Movie-wise, I'm about 9 films behind in the Marvel universe and frankly the idea of having to watch so many movies just to get caught up is a little overwhelming.

@shoogapoff I wouldn't get too worked up over the negative things you hear about IUI. It works for some, but not for others and everyone picks what's best for them. If you RE is optimistic, then you should be too.
@jennifer_louise I hope the transition back to work is smooth! What kind of bagel did you get? Inquiring minds need to know! I hear you on trying to avoid triggers. I feel like the time between a confirmed BFN and about CD3 or are the hardest for me. Probably a mix of hormones and disappointment.
@mokay19 FX for good SA results tomorrow! My DH dragged his feet on getting his SA, too. He stopped complaining and hesitating about his side of testing after seeing my hycosy and all the bloodwork I've had done. I haven't called the RE about getting my period, they didn't say anything about me needing to do that. Their instructions were just to stop the progesterone and make a follow-up appointment. It will be CD5 on Thursday so they might be able to at least do some extra monitoring this cycle.
@ruby696 glad day 1 of stims went well! I hope that if you have any side effects from the combo of meds, they're mild.
@b_1029 glad you had a nice time at the wedding despite the nosy question. I like the snarky answer you have prepared. I might steal it to use on certain over-opinionated people in my life.
@misshelen86 I'm glad you're focusing on coping with the stress. I might have to check out that book. I hear you on trying to sift through all the conflicting info out there.
@kiki047 hiiiiiii!!! Good luck with IUI this week! Crossing everything for you. So many hugs to you, I know that "broken" feeling.
@inthewoods23 uuuuuuggggghhhh to the bleeding and confusion. That blows. I hope that the hysteroscopy bleeding stops so that you'll be able to tell when AF starts.
As my doctor said to me once, and I've been holding on to this quote for the last few weeks after he said it... "There is more than one way to win!" .... hopefully that phrase will help you too!!

@kiki047 hi, I’ve joined since you were active...although I’m pretty sure I saw you post when I was still lurking. Sorry for the broken feeling, it makes total sense to me though! I don’t get why my body won’t do what it is supposed to do, even with meds...I either can’t get pregnant or can’t stay pregnant. I think it is amazing that there are things out there to help us with that though! I’ll be crossing my fingers that the IUI works for you!!
@shoogapoff I love that! Thanks for sharing!!
@emeraldduchess it was an everything bagel, easy on the cream cheese. 👌I used to only feel depressed CD1-CD3 ish but lately it can come on at any time during the cycle (even after HIO, which is awkward 😬). The good news, it makes AF less hard by comparison. She's always expected.
@bluetickgal limbo is a terrible place to be. Hope you can move on soon! I'm glad your RE appt is so soon, how exciting! Can you do me a favor and make a list of all your Q's so I know what to ask at the end of the month? TYVM! (lol jk).
@emeraldduchess Oh girl, I hear you on the bitterness. It's not a nice feeling but it's a very real emotion and I've personally experienced a lot of it over the course of our TTC journey. I'm so sorry for your BFN but glad you responded well to the progesterone, I hope that does the trick for you next time!
@jennifer_louise nothing like some reassuring carbs to get you through a rough Monday morning. Sorry for all the emotions, sounds like we're in a similar boat. *hugs* The triggers are the worst part, aren't they? You never know when something is going to hit you. I feel like I have PTSD when it comes to triggers, I live in perpetual fear of anything that might catch me off guard.
@mokay19 blah, it took 10 days last time on provera? That sucks. I hope AF doesn't take her sweet ass time again.
@ruby696 Hiii friend!! I've been MIA but I've kept tabs on what's been going on here so I was *TW* very, very sorry to hear about your most recent loss. *end TW* But super excited for you to be moving along with your IVF process already. GL with the meds! That sounds intense.
@b_1029 just waiting for those cheapies to start to get darker again... FX you're a magical unicorn like chichi and that barely-there faint second line never actually goes away!!!!!
@inthewoods23 I've been following your ER journey while I was lurking so I'm soooo excited for your upcoming FET! Sorry about the bleeding, I hope that's the only real side effect from your hysteroscopy. Keeping everything crossed for you, friend! It's so much easier to be hopeful for other people.
@kpearse99 that quote from your doc about there being more than one way to win brought a tear to my eye. I love that. Happy to have an IUI buddy this month, maybe I need one of those crystal bracelets, lord knows I could use some more positive energy.
@shoogapoff I echo what emerald said about the IUI. At least that's what I'm clinging to as well. My RE said he's gotten plenty of people KU with just monitored cycles and TI, and even more people with IUI. Sometimes for those of us with unexplained IF the path of least resistance is still worth trying before getting into the really heavy duty IVF stuff. I'm inclined to agree. But if you think I'm sad now, I expect I'm going to be a trainwreck once my 3rd IUI fails and we need to move on to IVF.
@misshelen86 I target EOD for HIO and if we get another in there in between it's just a bonus. MH read that sometimes your count can improve if he could allmost reach the point of climax but doesn't finish the day leading up to his SA, so we tried that before his last one and his count really did go up by like 8mill lol. However, my one friend said her BF did the same thing but had an "oops" and his count was only like 7mill at his SA the next morning. But his repeat SA was great. So my point is, sometimes on our 'in between' days we just fool around, and I call it "priming the pump'. He calls it teasing
@bluetickgal hi there! I recognize your SN too from all my lurking. I'm sorry for your recent loss, and being stuck in limbo. I did have a list of questions for my RE that I put together based on suggestions from TB last year, I'll see if I can dig it up for you.
