Well ladies, not so good news at todays ultrasound. Please see my post in the spotting discussion for full details, but basically at our first visit last week the baby was measuring 3 weeks behind and no heartbeat. They measured my hcg which was over 80,000 and put me on progesterone hoping my dates were off (i know they arent). I started spotting a little this week but nothing more than when I wiped occasionally. The ultrasound today showed no change, so we are scheduled for a D&C on Monday. I pretty much have grieved this whole week because I knew in my heart that we lost the baby. I know this happens often, and as anxious as you are as a FTM, you hope you wont be in that 20%. I wish all of you the best of luck, and we will be praying for our rainbow baby.
Sending you all the love. I know the D&C will be fast and very painless. I hope you recover quickly. I was able to get KU two about 2 months exactly from my D&C in May. I hope the same for you. There is a GREAT Pregnancy After Loss (TTGP PGAL) group in the Trying to Get Pregnant group. I strongly recommend it! Hugs!
Oh, @chartput, I was so hoping you would get better news. I’m so sorry you’re going through this. Sending you love and hoping your rainbow comes when you’re ready, too.
@chartput I'm sorry. I had hoped you would have good news... I hope you recover quickly. My recoveries from d&C's were pretty easy, so hopefully yours will be too.
I’m so sorry, @chartput. My d/c was also a quick recovery and I was able to get pregnant again quickly, I’m about 2 months, if that’s what you want. Give yourself plenty of time to heal and recover. Prayers that you are popping up again in a few months. ❤️
