Re: WTO Friday 8/9
Good morning! Happy Friday!
Month/Cycle: 16/14
CD: 10 (maybe soon I’ll remember and not need to flip to ff to check every time.)
WAYDTGKU: letrozole, dr appointment on Monday hopefully for the go-ahead to hio!, cm, opk, bbt, pnv
R/R: We saw a double rainbow last night, so that obviously means I’ll get ku with twins this cycle. In fact, I was walking with a set of twins, and our immediate neighbors are this cute set of identical twins and one of their husbands. The twin sisters used to be neighbors, but I guess Twin A moved in with Twin B when Twin A’s h passed away. So, it’s just fate to have more twins on my street, as I see it.
We’re heading to my IL late tonight. Their old neighbors, who are like mh’s pseudo grandparents are having a big anniversary party, so we’re driving 5hr+ each way this weekend for it. It’s at a country club, and Mh is expecting there to be dancing, so we’ll see!
CS/Q: nope! No signs of anything, but I just finished letrozole last night.
Sorry I've been a poster and ghoster or absent from the dailies this week. Just one of those weeks of meh.
Month/Cycle: 26/23
CD: 22
WAYDTGKU: started up the lupron in prep for September FET
R/R: it happened again! I had dreams about POAS and they were positive! When I woke up I actually felt a bit in distress. Kind of like when you finish a book and you were so engrossed in it when you were reading it that real life now seems so... Bland? And you just want to go back to the excitement of the story. Does that even make sense?

WAYDTGKU: PNVs, BBT charting, CM & CP tracking, OPKs, Pre-Seed, Mucinex (CD10 to 1DPO), and baby aspirin.
R/R: So. Flippin'. Tired. Got maybe four hours of sleep last night, if that. Send coffee and puppies.
CS/Q: Nada
Due with baby #2: Feb 2022
@begging4abump I saw a rainbow two days ago and thought the same thing! I have always wanted a set of twins, there's just something about them. My grandmother always told us that twins skip two generations in our family (absolutely not based on science!) And that in my generation of cousins they are bound to pop up.

R/R: Went shopping at TJ Maxx yesterday and my rant is that Halloween decorations are out (goodbye summer 😥). My rave is also that Halloween decorations are out, I love Halloween. I Definitely bought some things!

WAYDTGKU: Nothing, waiting for RE appt. next week.
R/R: It’s Friday!!! We are going hiking with the pups tomorrow morning and then relaxing at home the rest of the weekend! We are so ready for a lazy weekend at home!!
CS/Q: None.
@begging4abump hopefully it was a sign!! I would be so happy with twins now too! Have a good weekend, and hopefully there will be dancing! ☺️ Good luck with your appt. Monday, hope you get the go-ahead!
@inthewoods23 yes, I totally get that! I’ve even tried to fall back asleep hoping I’ll go back into the dream, but it never works! Hope you have a good Friday!!
@ttcbabyodo sorry for the lack of sleep, that makes for a rough day! Yes, coffee & puppies should do the trick!
@ginevere ugh, I haven’t seen any Halloween stuff out yet, that’s crazy but also not surprising! Christmas stuff will be out before we know it! Hope you have a good weekend with the IL’s!
Due with baby #2: Feb 2022
@inthewoods23 You definitely makes sense. I have had that happen with both books and dreams before. you always wake up a little disappointed that it’s over.
@ttcbabyodo sending all the coffee your way!
@ginevere I am so ready for Fall. I cannot wait to buy all the stuff. Especially candles. I have an obsession with Fall candles
@bluetickgal I am so jealous! I love to hike but it’s way too hot.

R/R: AF finally arrived this morning! But not before I wasted another FRER last night, you know, just in case. I had already accepted that I was out so I’m just happy to get the worst of AF out of the way before we hit the beach. I may not be posting my check in every day while I’m gone but I will definitely be around! Have a great weekend!
CS/Q:
@newmomtx06 oh, it’s still pretty hot here too...earlier in the week when we decided to go it said it was going to be 82, now the high is 88 (still hot, but better than it has been)! We decided we’ll go early and just sweat! Hopefully it starts cooling down a bit for you soon! Hope you have a nice relaxing weekend with your DH!
@bluetickgal I hope you have a lovely hike tomorrow!
@ginevere I LOVE Halloween!
@ttcbabyodo
@inthewoods23 Wow, it is getting so close!
@begging4abump Wow that is a long drive. I hope it is fun!

R/R: I have a follow up with my FM practitioner around O this month and then we will be starting my detox. He doesn't recommend detox during pregnancy, so I am debating on moving my appointment a week later or just keeping it as is and if I end up pregnant stopping the detox. Luckily I have some time to figure it out.
CS/Q: Link in siggy. Nothing to see yet. I am actually going to work hard at temping this cycle! I've got the first two and I will finish out the month!

TTC#2 April 2019@ginevere I can't believe how early holiday decor comes out! Really I'm not shocked, but it's just not even on my radar! It's like when Target starts clearancing summer items and patio furniture in June. Summer barely started and they're already looking to clear out the store! Sheesh!
@bluetickgal your weekend sounds amazing! Have fun!
@newmomtx06 yeah can we get down to the mid 70s max every day? That would be nice! We are starting to have cooler mornings (sometimes mid 60s) which feels really nice on the way in to work! That's the case for where I live anyway.
@bows22 sorry for CD1. I've had a few months where I was a little BSC in thinking maybe I'm one of those people who don't get + results on a HPT until well past AF being late. So testing the day before she's due was totally reasonable. Oh how wrong I was. Have fun at the beach!

@ttcbabyodo Ugh that’s awful. Sending you all the coffee and hoping the day at least goes quickly.
@ginevere I like Halloween too, but it’s way too soon! I just want to enjoy the rest of the summer and not think about fall yet..
@bluetickgal Sounds like the perfect weekend. Enjoy!

@m6agua sorry for the tough decisions about detox. Hopefully you’ll feel good about your decision when it comes time to make it.
@inthewoods23 mid60s sounds glorious! Also, I hear you on the bittersweet dreams. It sometimes takes me a while to shake emotions from them!
@ginevere I had a good chuckle about your dual reaction to Halloween stuff being out. I’ve been thinking about fall a lot lately, but I kind of like the anticipation of it, knowing it’s coming, but not for a little while. I guess I just hate the gap between fun, active winter and comfortable spring, but otherwise I like all the seasons.
@bluetickgal a hike and then relaxing sounds like a nicely balanced weekend! I hope the weather cooperates!
@newmomtx06 so many twin signs! I hear you on wanting the heat to chill out. (Ha, chill out) Enjoy the much deserved break this weekend!
@bows22 sorry about the disappointment of last cycle, but new cycle, new hope, right? Enjoy the beach!!

WAYDTGKU: OPKs, CM, prenatals, shatavari and evening primrose oil, acupuncture, preseed, Ovia app, planning to get back to BBT this month after AF ends and will hopefully be getting some testing/treatment soon
R/R: I was expecting AF yesterday and told myself I would test this morning if nothing. Got up early and honestly felt like it was coming as soon as I woke up but I held myself to it, tested, and literally while I was standing there waiting the 5 minutes to look at the test, AF came. Ooooookay got it, thanks body. Just called the doctor to figure out next steps/make an appointment...I had day 3 and day 21 testing a few months ago but we've had nothing else so it's past time to figure out what the deal is with both of us. Just trying to look forward to getting some info and I'm glad I at least have this board to come to!

@whitealbum29 So sorry about CD1. AF is a b sometimes with her timing! I hope you can get in soon for testing. I know it's a stinky threshold to cross, but it's really been nice for us to get some answers, and to feel like someone else is in this fight with us. I hope you have the same experience.
@misshelen86 Enjoy your vacay!
@m6agua I hope your appointment goes well and that you can get a plan together that you feel good about!
@bows22 So sorry about CD1. I hope you enjoy the beach, and I am glad that AF didn't decide to mess that up, at least.
@newmomtx06 Do you and DH have anything fun planned this weekend?
@bluetickgal Your weekend plans sound amazing! Enjoy!
@ginevere I love Halloween decorations too! But I don't like cold weather, and Halloween always reminds me that winter is coming, so that makes me sad.
@ttcbabyodo 4 hours?! That's crazy. You deserve all the coffee and puppies!
@begging4abump I love your rainbow omen and fully support this idea.
@inthewoods23 I know exactly what you mean about finishing a book and then life feels boring. Hopefully all of these dreams are premonitions about what is to come for you very soon!

R/R: As I mentioned in the IF thread, our RE appointment went well. My AMH was good, and DH's SA was great. My E2 was high, but he wants to repeat that lab to see if it was just a weird read. That cycle was a strange one for me, so I am hopeful that my number will look better next cycle. Anyway, bottom line is that next cycle we are going to try Clomid and IUI with a trigger shot. I feel good about this plan, even though I know IUI doesn't have incredibly high success rates. As our dr said, the main goal of trying this is to ensure that our timing is good and that my eggs are fully mature before they release.
This weekend I think I will try to finally tackle my ongoing project of painting our kitchen cabinets. I started this about a year ago, and have been going in small bursts. I'm just painting them a slightly brighter white, so it's not that obvious that the project is only half finished. Anyway, every weekend it seems I'm either too busy or it's pouring rain so I can't make progress. FX I don't lose my motivation!
CS/Q: No questions. Chart is boring so far.
Edit: missed a word
Due with baby #2: Feb 2022
@shoogapoff your estrogen levels shouldn't affect the IUI process. I think it's more important when you're going through IVF since your estrogen levels shoot high from stims meds.

@inthewoods23 @begging4abump thanks ladies!!
@whitealbum29 thank you! Sorry for AF...and while testing no less! 😒 I Hope you get some answers and a plan moving forward...I am looking forward to the same as well!
@shoogapoff thanks!! So happy you have a plan moving forward with the RE! Oh, painting cabinets...I’ve heard that is a difficult process! I would love to paint our wood cabinets white at some point. Would you recommend doing yourself, or hiring it done if you could do it over again?
@shoogapoff I'm glad you had a good appointment and a solid plan for this cycle! I want to paint my kitchen cabinets so bad, but I don't think I can get DH on board.
@misshelen86 I think I've talked about it mostly in another thread. I've been working with a new functional medicine practitioner trying to get my health better. I've been having thyroid and digestive issues. We are working on 3 phases, Repair (my gut/digestive system), Detox, Rebuild. I was benched for 2 cycles during the Repair phase because of one of the herbs I am on. Then at my last appointment he said I need to hold off getting pregnant until after the detox and he pushed out the timeline about 2-3 more months than what we originally discussed. Last cycle DH and I decided that we would try anyway, despite my treatment plans, and if I got pregnant we would just adjust and push off the treatment. So basically if I don't get pregnant this cycle we just continue on with the detox and that will be done by my next cycle and then we will no longer have to worry about my treatments (unless my dr pushes things back again).
Yay for make up sex! Your vacation plans sound amazing!
