IF Testing / Treatment w/o 8/5

Re: IF Testing / Treatment w/o 8/5

  • Ugh, sorry @hanshotfirst77. But I'm so glad you'll be able go forward with ER on time and FX so hard that it's nothing and there won't be any delay in your FET!

  • @hanshotfirst77 ugh, sorry for the bummer news! I was in the same boat too. My saline sono before my ER was abnormal but didn't impact going through IVF (yay)! My repeat saline sono 3 weeks ago showed the same abnormalities so I had the hysteroscopy and polypectomy yesterday. They should fit the procedure in to the calendar of your FET. I think the timing for an October FET or not will most likely depend on how long they have you on BC prior to starting meds. My clinic always has some down time so I've been on BC for quite a while before my FET will occur. Hopefully you won't be on it for very long, if at all!

  • @hanshotfirst77 my PGS results came in about 5 days, but I know they say it can take up to 2 weeks. AF came for me in about 10 days or so (a little earlier than I was expecting since my LP is about 13 days). Saline Sonos have to be done when AF is gone and the hysteroscopy would need to be done before you start meds (lupron if you are starting with that). I think it's entirely possible to fit that all in! Even if you're only on BC for 20 some days. And they can always adjust the number of days you're on BC to fit things in. I really hope you can have your FET in October!

  • @hanshotfirst77 my first saline showed the same thing. I agree they should be able to fit it into the schedule! My friend that has endo had one before each of her transfers to make sure everything looked as good as possible. So hopefully it’ll help you with the IVF process, too!
  • @hanshotfirst77 sorry about the confusing/unclear news! That is definitely good news it won’t delay your ER, and hopefully it won’t delay your FET beyond October either!!

@shoogapoff thanks so much! Yes, we are looking forward to the RE appt. for that same reason...we are ready to meet with someone that this is their main focus. I feel like my OB cares, but fertility is a very small part of what she deals with...I don’t know that we will be an easy case, but hopefully our RE is up for the challenge! I hope your RE appt. goes well tomorrow and you get some peace of mind hearing about your results. Your master bath double sinks sound very interesting...makes our double vanity sound boring!
  • @hanshotfirst77 sorry about the sono results, but you must be relieved that it shouldn't delay IFV!

@shoogapoff so glad that your results seem OK on the portal. I hope tomorrow goes well! Even if your RE doesn't have any answers and orders more tests, the good news is that you've already ruled out quite a bit.

  • @hanshotfirst77 I am so sorry it wasn’t the results you were hoping for (and that we were all hoping for you) but it’s a good thing that you can still move forward according to plan and get the ball rolling on things. Keep focusing on the positive, like you said ♥️

  • Great news @shoogapoff! I'm glad you have a plan you feel good about. Hopefully your next cycle starts soon!
  • @shoogapoff that's great that you have a plan and everything looks good! Don't worry too much about the estrogen test. My first round of labs showed low AMH(which didn't make sense because I had so many follies on my scan), but when they repeated them they were normal. You must be so relieved that you won't need surgery for the blocked tube!

  • @NYTino24 glad to hear that you had a good appointment!  Also, super jealous about that early monitoring time!  My clinic doesn't start until 7am and I'm usually already at work for 30 minutes by then!

@shoogapoff I'm glad you're feeling good about next cycle's plan and hopefully the re-test next month shows it within limits.  Also, yay for no surgery or extra testing

@misshelen86 I said this before I think, but I still find it so weird that you have to wait so long for an ultrasound.  Also, Dr. Google can make me such a worry-wart... but that doesn't stop me from Googling haha
  • @misshelen86 I'm so glad things look normal so far! That's crazy that you can't be accepted by an RE until your ultrasound. If your ultrasound is at least booked, then they should let you schedule your first RE appointment.
