How many months have you been TTC?: 14 months, 10 cycles
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: opks, checking CM, ava, pnv. Will probably be scheduling a fertility consultation with my obgyn soon.
Tell us about yourself! I own a beautiful old house that DH and I have filled up with two cats, two bearded dragons, an australian shepherd and three chickens. I love animals! I've also been slowly getting into gardening. Most of my free time is spent working on house projects, but I also love to sew, crochet, paint and other general art stuff. I also love going antiquing and camping with DH when we find time between house projects. I work fulltime managing a gift shop and DH is an environmental scientist.
I've been a long time lurker here and am finally so ready to join a group of supportive women who can relate to the struggle.
@ginevere welcome! I see you have your own mini zoo 😆 that's awesome!

@ginevere I love crochet too! I wish I was "craftier" but alas, my talents only extend to yarn.
Ages (you and SO): 26 and 36
How many months have you been TTC?: 1/1
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: PN, BBT charting, CM, OPK, FF (also devoured TCOYF in a matter of days)
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.):
I know I'm brand new to the TTC process, but after lurking the board this seems like a really wonderful and supportive community that I want to be a part of! A bit about myself - I'm a grad student and about to enter my first year of teaching high school math. I used to work in the tech industry, but I wasn't very fulfilled by my work. I love baking and can make a mean loaf of bread. Being outside and taking walks through the woods is when I'm happiest. Recently I've recommitted myself to a regular yoga practice - it's given me a lot of positive energy going into this new process!
How many months have you been TTC?: since January. We had a surprise pregnancy last November that ended in a MC at 8w.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: HIO, OPK, vitamins, positive thinking! 😊
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): I’m divorced and have 2 kids 2 DD 7, 4) from my marriage. We had quite the long, hard journey to parenthood which I think may have contributed to the breakdown of our marriage. STRESS. We tried for 3 years to get pregnant with our 1st, 3 miscarriages, 4 rounds of IVF. Our 2nd was conceived via FET.
I’ve been with my SO for over a year now. I know we are older, and originally didn’t plan on having kids together...but when we lost our surprise baby we both realized we wanted to have a child together. We are only trying for 2 more months before accepting that this isn’t in the cards for us. I decided to join this board for some support because most people in our circle have no idea we are even trying!
@kelsey_ruth326 sometimes wanting to do all the crafts is overwhelming and you end up with 1 million unfinished projects, so being committed to one good craft is great! I think doing yoga will be awesome to help you through ttc, if even just for the mindfulness and potential stress relief! I have done the odd yoga class in the past and I wish I could stay committed to it.
@sadiesgirlsplus1 I hope this community gives you the support you need. I know personally I haven't talked about ttc with anyone really for a lot of different reasons and that was one of my main reasons for joining as well. It's nice to feel connected to others that you can relate to.
Welcome @sadiesgirlsplus1@kelsey_ruth326 ! Hoping you have a short stay in TTGP! In the meantime, feel free to join us in the daily threads! Also, @kelsey_ruth326 and @ginevere we have an active Cooking, Baking, & Crafting thread that also encompasses any sort of DIY, always love to see projects!

How many months have you been TTC?: Just starting! Vasectomy Reversal scheduled next Wednesday, then 2 weeks of recovery, and we're good to try!
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: Ava monitor & Pee sticks to start with. I have a history of PCOS and have done IVF/IUI (with my ex), so I'm fully expecting that my age + history = RE appointment/intervention will be needed.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): Two step-daughters (20yo/5yo) & too many pets to name- we have a FULL house! Love to be outdoors, ride 4-wheeleers, fishing, camping, etc.
Excited to be here & starting the process. I'm partially expecting this to not work, but DH wants to try to give me a bio kid of my own, and we decided this was the no regrets option. We will try until I'm 40 (15months) and then we'll move on. I am so grateful to have such an amazing and supportive partner!

I can relate to SOOOOOOO much of this. My ex and I tried for years via IVF/IUI and several failed rounds and one MC finally broke us as well. It was the last of the compounding issues we already had piled upon us.
