My TW is myself for volunteering to handle something "easy", which has turned into a total shit storm. Very important people are incredibly upset and 1) I am the messenger and 2) I will now have to figure out a way to fix it. FML.

DH just told me I couldn’t go get queso because I allegedly told him to help me not eat crap all the time. It was a bad, stressful day and I thought that “queso not included” was an unwritten rule???
we were already snippy with each other tonight and this made it worse. Thank god it’s not my FW.

update- he brought home ice cream so all is well.

@b_1029 I think the general rule should be that if you have a lousy day you can eat whatever the heck you want!

Sorry I missed this yesterday, my TW is someone at work. She is the WORST at communication, and I get so many emails at the last minute that something immediate needs to be done. The latest was "forgetting" to tell me that someone who was coming into the main office for the day needed a significant amount of gift cards to bring back to his field office as prizes for an event the next day. I had to scramble and find someone with a corporate credit card to let me use bc my boss had already left for the day. Then I had to go to 2 different stores to cover the amount of gift cards needed. There was no way I was putting that much money on my credit card, even if it would be reimbursed. Eff. That.

@mvt2003 I once had to put 1200-1500 on my own card for a business trip before I got a corporate card. I asked about getting one after that trip and apparently my grand boss didn't think I needed one.

I said F that because I actually had gotten called by my bank while I was at the airport waiting to go home and was told they found some suspicious activity on my card. I'd just rather deal with crap like that when it's a corporate card because my bank for some stupid reason requires you to specifically request a new card when they freeze your current one that got compromised 🤨 it's not automatic (unless your card is expiring, they send those automatically).

@inthewoods23 I've never needed one before, because I'm just an admin and I've always had access to my boss's, but now that he's having health issues and is limited on office time, I think I may need to push for one. This was $750! I can't imagine having to put $12-1500 on my own card! Glad they gave you a corporate card finally!!!
