My OB, and the MFM's office. My OB went out of her way to call me with the results of my NIPT on her personal time. And, the next day, the MFM's office happily called to verify I'd gotten them, and confirm the results. Both offices were almost as excited about the results as I am, showing how much patient care matters to them. I'm really glad I wasn't able to find a new OB when I was having issues with the NP...who incidentally is the one who calmed me down when I went in for my 12w appointment and told me to enjoy be pregnant.
I’m thankful for my supervisor who has been really encouraging and invested in my career development. I have a big evaluation coming up today—where basically people talk about me and decide if I’m on a management path—that I’m extremely nervous for. It’s hard having something like that when you’re pregnant because you feel like you’re already sidetracked and then about to abandon everyone for awhile, but she has reassured me every step of the way.
@EmilyE13 so nice to have that support at work! Fx it goes well today!
@FyreFlyeRush so glad you have a great support system in your drs offices.
@stashattack it’s so important to find a therapist you mesh well with.
Today im thankful my ob’s was able to admit their mistake so I could have the appropriate care. I haven’t come across many offices that are willing to do that and it is refreshing.
I'm thankful for my students. Gosh it's been an emotional rollercoaster these last few days. A student from my summer class just came by to tell me how much fun she had and how it made her excited to learn again. She embroidered a cell for me! I'm just full of the feels!
I'm thankful that my parents are coming into town today. My mom is always a huge help and I never have to cook when they're here because my dad always pays for take out.
Good insurance and a dr's office that's on the ball! My free (through insurance) breast pump showed up today just one week after I had an appt. I asked the Dr about getting a prescription, next thing I know they've done all the paperwork and insurance is calling to ask me which pump I want. I used to work in pharmacy so I expected this whole process to be WAY more involved than it has been so far.

@FyreFlyeRush yay for good doctors. I was floored when my OB called me personally to tell me I was pregnant and was so excited!
@kbrown2385 hoping that means you got a sooner appointment!

@biolprof That is just so freaking cute and soooo sweet!
This is small, but I’m thankful to be leaving work before lunch tomorrow and meeting up with my former boss who I love so much!
