Help! Need a great comeback!

I don’t post often because honestly it’s a pain to do on my phone and I’ve been too busy (lazy) to open up the laptop.
I apologize if this has been asked before but I need some good suggestions!
I work at a busy sports bar so I’m always getting asked when I’m due etc etc. On occasion some idiots (mostly women) will say “oh wow you still have 3 months to go, are you sure there aren’t twins in there!?” I normally just stare blankly and say “ya I’m sure” and walk away. But it is really starting to bother me since I definitely don’t look like I’m having twins in the least bit and it’s just plain rude for them to ask that. So I’m hoping someone will have a great comeback I could use because what I really want to say isn’t work appropriate and would probably get me in trouble haha.

  • Nothing I want to add here is work appropriate either.

Maybe say "thanks! It looks like you had a HUGE lunch today. Let me know next time you are going to the buffet so I can come with. These twins need all the nourishment I can give them!"

  • @purplefan1 - HAHAHAHAAHA.  I was having the same problem.  Nothing is really appropriate if you want to stay friendly with co-workers.

    My thoughts are:
You could ask when they are due? if you want to go for snark level.

Or straight up ask why they think that is an acceptable question to ask someone.

Personally, I would probably just pull a Stephanie Tanner from Full House and say "RUDE" and walk away.
  • Some snark and attitude is fine because I really don’t put up with a lot of the BS certain customers try and pull anyway and 99% of the time I always have a good comeback for pretty much any situation or conversation. All except this.. for the life of me I can’t think of anything clever to throw back at them but also get the point across that  they are being rude by questioning that.
