I'll start and I probably will make people upset. I hate, hate, HATE the "Live, laugh, love" signs. But in my defense I hate most "signs" because my designer brain just breaks. The fonts are always awful, stretched, and/or tacky lol.
I totally get it, buuuuttt my house is a freaking motivational walk through. Almost every corner has some sign motivating you to be a better person, lol!
OK here's mine. I don't get Disney. Why do people get so excited about a super annoying mouse and some old fashioned, patriarchal freaking movies? I will admit some of the new ones (Moana) are good. But grown adults should not wear clothing featuring cartoon characters - have some self-respect!

I don’t understand how people can afford to go to Disney every.single.year. (Or why they want to?) I literally could go to Europe for the price of Disney. I don’t get it.
I guess my FFFC is I’m a Disney freak. DH and I used to go at least twice a year before we had kids. In the last four years we’ve only been twice because it’s a lot harder with little ones.
I think we are becoming "no ipad" people... We've been limiting DS's screen time more and more. Today he had the patience to sit outside are read (long AF) children's books. He's also been playing LEGOs and magnatiles constantly which he's had for ages, but wasn't interested in them until we took away the screen. I swear I won't preach about it, but I'm feeling like a convert. I've been limiting my screen time to while I'm at work and I started drawing again in my free time which I haven't done in years.
ETA* The confession part is that I know "no iPad" people are super annoying and previously hated them because Mama's gotta shower, buuuuuut maybe they're right!
@brookert615 The stupid random ampersands are what do me in. You get a pass if you hve like A&J letters on your mantelpiece but just the &...no....I hate it
I was raised by my single father, because my Mom decided she wasn't ready to be a parent after having 3 kids. So she left.
Last time I saw her was over a year ago for my Grandma's funeral. We are not close and I really don't have anything to do with her. Somehow, she found out I'm pregnant. She took it upon herself to post on social media "I'm going to be a Grandma!" DH and I are keeping it private right now (it's definitely not public information) but she took it upon herself to make it public information.
The worst part is, she only posted it to gain attention and 'likes.' Not to celebrate our amazing news. Which, frankly, makes me absolutely sick to my stomach.
@malloryfrommn I am so sorry you're dealing with that. I understand the frustration, the only friend who knows and was asked not to tell any one has told three people I know now. And we weren't telling anyone else until they asked or it was 20 weeks.
Too many tags, but thank you so much, everyone. I have been fuming all day. Tomorrow is a new day, and I'm determined to wake up with a calm mind and heart. I've already let this bother me way more than it should.
@sassypants2010 so sorry you're dealing with a similar situation! It's such a violation of trust. I totally feel for you!
