who wants to come to my house and fix my dryer since I have no idea how to do any of that stuff?? With everything else that happened this weekend, I kinda forgot that was a part of it too.

but actually, does anyone know anything about this crap?

@inthewoods23 it turns on and everything but it stops early and apparently doesn't get hot anymore. I didn't realize it while I was trying to last minute clean our house but when I went to take the sheets out of the dryer, they were still damp and freezing cold.

@b_1029 I know very little about this kind of thing, DH replaced the heating element in our dryer recently when it was doing that.

@b_1029 hmm yeah I think @mercury94 might be right that the heating element needs to be replaced. And maybe a sensor isn't working that it thinks the stuff is dry so it stops?

@b_1029 It's most likely the heating element. And some dryers have a sensor in them that makes them stop when the clothes are dry enough, but there is likely a safety time limit that makes it shut off if the dryer runs for a certain period of time and it doesn't sense the clothes getting drier (otherwise it would just run forever).

We also replaced that sensor a year or two ago. It was definitely the cheaper fix.

I hate my washer and dryer - they came with the house and were fairly new so I'm just going to have to live with them unfortunately. I mean, I was happy to not have to pay for new ones, but these are just blah. MH swears his work shirts do not feel dry, but I've been telling him he's crazy so I'll just keep this sensor knowledge to myself

Office neighbor is talking loudly about golf again. They're talking about angles and distances for every freaking hole they played and it's been like 10 minutes, and I just want to yell "SHUT THE F*CK UP!!!"

@shamrocandroll It's so funny! Half of the joke is that they're taking mini golf as seriously as regular golf. We watch an episode on Hulu with dinner once a week!

@mercury94 It's so fun!!! We went to TopGolf for the first time this summer (there's not one around us, so we went while we were on vacation) and I'm kind of all in on the golfing right now. My SiL and I try to pick an activity to do together every summer (this summer was tennis) but we've tossed around the idea of next summer trying to start golf lessons.

How my day is going -
An hour before work ended (so maybe 4:15 today) I decided I would make a thermos of tea and take it to go since it takes forever to cool down.

It is now 6:30 and I JUST realized I never put a tea bag in my thermos so for the last 2 hours I've been drinking hot sugar water.

Oh. My. God. 😆😆😆🤣

@b_1029 I don’t like how quick they go to PGs now. It used to take longer.

Also, still looking at March like where is the TTGP grad check-in? Don’t want to have to stalk all these other randos just to see how my friends are doing.

ETA: To be fair, I am and will continue to stalk the randos if necessary. I just miss our ladies so much and I’m definitely not comfortable commenting on the threads I’m reading to stalk them.
